🐾 Meet Izzy! 🐾 ✨ Rescued Mom. Certified Snuggle-Hound. Squirrel Watch Extraordinaire. Izzy’s been with us since May 2023, and she’s ready to trade shelter life for sofa snuggles and backyard sniffari missions. 🛋️🌳 This beautiful hound mix came to Castoff as a young mama with seven newborn pups and a big ol’ heart full of hope. Her babies have all found homes — no one stepped up for Izzy. :( She’s got that classic hound combo: 👃 A nose that never quits 🎾 A tail that never stops wagging 🧠 A brain that loves a challenge (Did someone say puzzle toy?) Izzy’s the shy-at-first type — but once she warms up, she’ll hit you with the “I’d do crimes for treats” eyes and politely request snacks on repeat. 🍪 She’s already learned “sit” and responds to “no” thanks to her training with the Colwell Rescue Program, and she’s totally housebroken! 🏡💪 She likes boy dogs with a proper introduction. She’d thrive with: ✔️ A tall fence (because she’s got Olympic-level sniffing goals) ✔️ An active, hound-savvy home ✔️ No cats or chickens — Izzy says, “Respectfully, those are snacks.” 🙃 ✔️ A patient human who understands that good things (and goofy hounds) take time 💕 She's playful, smart, and incredibly loyal — just waiting to be someone’s very best girl.
