Story
Sweet isn’t the right word. She loves well. She’s most comfortable with female humans. My 9 and 13 year olds are her favorite humans and she listens to the 9 year old best. She has become quite protective and I would like to fill you in with great detail to insure she’s placed permanently. She came to me very young but, came from an abusive community and was very attached to her mom. The plan was for me to foster until she was able to take her back. That hasn’t worked out and now, I’m in a position that she has become a liability or codependent might be another way of putting it. We are very attached and this will be a challenging separating. For that reason, I’m also late asking… because I didn’t want to. So, here we are… in need of speedy placement of excellent quality in a timely manner. Not asking for much. Just perfect and patient. She deserves it.

Story
Bo is an American Fox hound full of personality! He was abandoned and tied to a tree when he was found approximately 12 months ago. His name was inspired by the Dukes of Hazard, Bo Duke. He is incredibly athletic and would love an active home/person. He should get along with most other dogs, best if the dog is more his size or bigger. He is very low key during the day and very content to sleep most of it. He is happy to hang in his crate and does not get anxious or destructive. He has learned most commands, sit, stay, OK, down, shake, and most important comes when you call his name! House broken. He doesn't seem to be afraid of much, curiously confident. He is a very sweet and happy dog! He would be a great tracking dog, his nose is incredible, like most hound dogs. Bo was originally just going to be a foster, but I wanted to have more control over who his new Mom or Dad would be, so we adopted him. Bo is ready for his new forever home.

Story
Meet Willy! Willy is a bright and lovable pup who came to us to work on his reactivity toward men and to improve his overall obedience. While he was initially unsure and reactive in certain situations, Willy has made impressive progress through consistent training, structure, and positive reinforcement. With time and trust, Willy has shown his sweet and eager-to-please nature. He's learned to stay calm in new environments, respond to commands reliably, and build confidence around the people who once made him nervous. Willy is a great example of how patience, guidance, and the right support can help a dog grow into their best self. We're so proud of how far he's come!   ##2499010##

Bonded Pair Looking for a Forever Home: Pheobie Haven & Maxus Haven ADOPTION FEE FOR MAXUS AND PHEOBIE - SPONSORED BY A GENEROUS DONOR - IN LOVING MEMORY OF HIS SWEET DOGS    Meet Pheobie Haven and Maxus Haven - a sweet senior duo searching for a loving home where they can stay together forever.   Pheobie Haven is an 11.5 year old American Bulldog mix with a beautiful blonde coat and a gentle, soulful personality. At just under 40 pounds, she’s the perfect medium size and loves being close to her people. Pheobie is calm, affectionate, and happiest when she’s relaxing nearby or enjoying a peaceful stroll.   Maxus Haven is a 13.5 year old Basset Hound mix weighing about the same as Pheobie. He’s a laid-back, loyal companion with a sweet nature and an easygoing spirit. Maxus enjoys cozy naps, soft beds, and simply being part of the family.   These two are deeply bonded and take comfort in each other’s presence. They are past the puppy stage and bring all the wonderful qualities of senior dogs - calm energy, loving hearts, and grateful companionship. They would do best as the only dogs in the home and would thrive with older, respectful children who understand their gentle senior nature.   Pheobie and Maxus are looking for a quieter home where they can enjoy their golden years surrounded by kindness, comfort, and stability.   Adopt love. Story
Meet Kalina   Kalina is a beautiful, 6-year-old ,Bloodhound mix, girl who weighs about 80 pounds of pure heart and quiet hope.   This lovely lady didn’t have the easiest start in life. Her origin: a backyard breeder, so Kalina missed out on socialization and gentle handling every dog deserves. Because of that, she can be quite shy at first, especially around new people and in new places. But once she feels safe, her true personality shines through: a sweet, goofy, playful soul.   Kalina has the most velvety, deep red, soft coat and the deepest, most soulful eyes that seem to understand everything. She’s already house trained and is incredibly loyal once she bonds with you. Because of her past, Kalina would do best in a home with a patient, understanding adopter who’s ready to give her the time, consistency, and gentle love she needs to blossom. She would especially thrive with a companion dog to help boost her confidence and give her a built-in playmate and friend.   If you have a calm, loving home and are willing to be Kalina’s safe place, she will repay you with the kind of deep, unwavering loyalty and quiet joy that only a Bloodhound mix can offer. She’s ready to leave her prior life behind and write a beautiful new chapter with someone who sees how special she is.
