Wags Rescue welcomes Heidi! She’s one of 23 dogs that were removed from a home due to neglect! Heidi is now a whopping 40 lbs but came to us only 23 lbs. We are so proud to say she’s blossomed to the most remarkable, happy hound in our foster home. Heidi is a lemon colored Foxhound and only a year old. There may be a tiny mix of beagle in her. She’s now spayed, utd on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. She’s a lovely family pet type of dog. She’s very loving and playful. She would do well in most homes. She’s acclimated to indoor living and loves her comforts of blankets and is crate trained. She’s also great on a leash. What’s not to love about this beauty! You can apply at wags-rescue.org

BARC Welcomes BAMBI to rescue! This sweet girl is a foxhound mix. Her mom is feral and has not been caught yet but the babies have all been socialized and are precious. Hounds by nature make great family pets and do well with other dogs. These guys are the perfect age to intro to other family and barn animals.. This sweet girl is looking for her forever family! She would absolutely flourish in a home with a large yard, acreage, or a farm. She lives for being outside, following scents, and “hunting” all the smells the world has to offer. The outdoors is where she’s happiest. 🚗 Car rides: Does great 🐕 Dogs: Good with other dogs — she and my dog Birdie play constantly 🦴 Leash walks: Walks well after she’s had time to get her sniffing and energy out 🏠 Crate: Sleeps in a crate without whining or barking 🚽 Potty training: A work in progress — she lets me know when she needs to go out, but consistency is still developing 🐱 Cats: Unknown If you have the land, the time, and the patience, she would make an incredible companion.
