Story
My daughter died 2 years ago and I inherited her American foxhound, Sugar. She's a wonderful dog, but I'm older, live in a small home with a tiny yard. I've tried to make it work but Sugar deserves a yard to run in and people younger than me to keep her stimulated. She's 4 years old, has been trained, is very smart, is great at agility and loves catching Frisbees. She's submissive and when I've taken her to dog parks the aggressive breeds quickly find her and treat her like prey. Consequently, she is rarely off leash and a foxhound deserves more. Because she's rarely around strange dogs (she loves her Golden Retriever cousin- and my 2 cats! ) she's anxious around strange people and strange dogs. I've done my best but she deserves a healthier environment. Thank you for considering being the new parents to my beautiful baby.
