Story
Phoenix is an American Foxhound mix who is ready to find his forever home. He is just under a year old. This playful and smart pup is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and on monthly preventatives—he’s all set to start his next adventure! Phoenix adores his people and is a big fan of fun. He loves attention so needs to be an only dog. His favorite activities include running, chasing, and playing to his heart’s content. He’s been around cats and, while he’d love to play with them, he’s respectful of their boundaries. Phoenix is potty trained and crate trained. His energy is high, but he also knows how to relax and unwind when it's time to settle down. He’s continuing to improve his leash skills and manners, making great progress every day. We think Phoenix would make an amazing family dog, as he’s likely to thrive with kids who can match his playful energy. If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate, and active companion, Phoenix might be the perfect fit for you. Don’t wait—this awesome pup is ready to light up your life! Story
Hi there, I’m Wilson! I’m a 5-year-old sweetheart who just wants to be by your side. Life changed suddenly for me when my people lost their home, and now I’m in the shelter, which feels a little loud and overwhelming. I miss having a cozy spot to curl up in, but I’m staying hopeful that my next family will find me soon. I’m house-trained and used to free roaming when my people were away, so I know how to be a good boy at home. I also know how to sit and give you my paw—anything to make you smile! I get along with other dogs, but my favorite thing in the world is just being close to my humans. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion to snuggle up with, I’d love to meet you!

Story
Simon is almost 9 years old and the most cuddly dog you will ever meet. He has never met a stranger and lovesssss getting attention from anyone he passes by. Simon can sit, shake, give hugs, lay down, back up, fetch, and is completely house trained. I have had Simon since he was born, and he has been a great companion, wildly smart, and will do anything to sit beside you for some pets. He LOVES playing with other dogs or kids and even though he is older, still has tons of energy. Simon and I lived in houses his whole life and now that we are in an apartment, he is not getting as much playtime as he needs with me gone during the days. Now that I prepare for another move, I know Simon would thrive better with a family that can play with him, let him outside more often, and give him the attention he deserves. He is very smart. He just wants to be included and will most likely follow you everywhere in the house. He sheds! But he makes up for it by being so sweet to everyone he meets.

Story
You gotta love this senior!! - SUNNY SIDES got her name as she is so positive and happy despite her ordeal. This hound mix is bursting with love despite her previous living conditions. Sunny side was found tied to a fence and had a bladder full of stones. She has had the necessary surgery to remove the stones and recovered well. She is on a prescription urinary diet, but no longer suffers from bladder incontinence and takes no other medications. She is nearing 13 years old, around 25 lbs, is fully house broken and manages to get those stubby little legs through the dog door. She would love nothing more than to be your best friend. She loves milling around the neighborhood investigating scent trails. Sunny Sides walks very leisurely on a leash, but she is vocal when she sees other dogs. She is a hound after all! She is passionate about being by her human’s side for a good long snuggle. Sunny Sides gets along with other dogs in her foster home and is up to date on her vaccinations and heartworm prevention medication. We pray hard that she won't be in foster care for very much longer. She's been with us for at least 6 months. Please give this senior the love and security she deserves for the rest of her life. Her adoption fee is $250 and includes the vet exam, vaccinations, rabies and tick prevention, microchip, heartworm test and preventatives.
