Story
Some dogs give their whole heart right away—Bandito is the kind who saves his biggest love for someone truly special. This charming boy shines brightest in the right environment, and he's looking for an adopter who appreciates what makes him wonderfully unique. Bandito adores people and forms incredibly strong bonds with those he trusts. Getting there requires an adopter who can read his cues, respect his boundaries, and understand that good things come to those who wait. But once he knows you're his person? Get ready for a goofy, playful companion who loves nothing more than being by your side. Whether he's chasing his favorite ball around the yard, exploring the neighborhood on a casual walk, or melting into the couch for snuggle time, Bandito brings joy and personality to everything he does. He just needs it to happen on his timeline, in his safe space. Bandito's Dream Setup: -A peaceful, adults-only home where he's the star of the show -A yard for epic fetch sessions (or a quiet apartment sanctuary—he's flexible!) -All the love and attention his big heart deserves. If you're looking for a devoted companion, Bandito might just be your perfect match. Curious about this special guy? Contact us to learn more!

Story
Meet Dr. Caligari 🐾 Dr. Caligari is a charming, affectionate foxhound mix with soulful eyes and a heart full of love. After spending several weeks in a home, he’s shown just how wonderful of a companion he can be. He’s calm, playful, and deeply people-oriented, with a special talent for snuggling up close and making himself right at home. He’s fully house trained and does great when left alone for short periods, often choosing to relax in his crate and settle in on his own. Dr. Caligari has done very well meeting new people, including children, greeting them gently and happily engaging in both play and cuddle time. He rides well in the car too, settling in with a little reassurance. This sweet boy enjoys learning and has been practicing cues like sit and come. He loves squeaky toys, chew toys, and a good game of tug, especially when he can turn it into a playful game of “almost give it back.” On leash, he’s continuing to build confidence and manners with guidance and consistency. Dr. Caligari is the kind of dog who bonds deeply with his people. He enjoys attention, playtime, and cozy downtime, often giving a gentle nudge to let you know when it’s time to head outside. If you’re looking for a loving, cuddly companion with a playful spark and a gentle soul, Dr. Caligari is ready to be your new best friend. 💙

Story
Meet Paco – Your Loyal Shadow and Playful Pup Paco is a handsome brown and white hound mix with a heart as big as his floppy ears. This affectionate boy is thriving in his foster home and is now ready to find a forever family of his very own — ideally one with a fenced yard, a playful dog friend, and humans who will include him in their daily life. He really loves children and will happily play with them for hours. He bonds deeply and loves nothing more than being close to his people. Paco is house-trained, crate trained, great on a leash, and eager to please. He loves to romp and wrestle with other dogs and is surprisingly respectful around chickens — a true southern gentleman. He has been around cats and does well with them. After a fun day, Paco prefers to sleep snuggled up with his foster mom, but he also does great overnight in a crate when needed. Being outdoors is Paco’s happy place. He enjoys exploring, sunbathing, and relaxing in the grass, and he’s a fan of splashing in the water to cool off on warm days. Car rides are becoming more comfortable for him, and with continued positive experiences, he’ll soon be a confident travel buddy. He will need antinausea medication to travel, however. Paco is the perfect match for someone seeking a loyal, cuddly, dog-friendly companion with a sweet spirit and a playful heart. If you’re ready for a devoted shadow who will follow you from the garden to the couch, look no further — Paco is ready to love you for life. Paco is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX and is not available for transport out of state. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Built for Adventure With a Nose That Leads the Way Buck looks like a male Treeing Walker Coonhound with all the classic traits that make this breed so special—and a little different from most of the dogs you’ll meet here. Treeing Walker Coonhounds are known for their athletic build, intelligence, and incredible sense of smell. They were bred to work closely with people, cover lots of ground, and stay engaged with their environment, and Buck proudly carries that heritage. Buck is energetic and ready for an active lifestyle. He’s the kind of dog who will thrive with daily exercise, opportunities to explore, and a person who enjoys being on the move. Whether it’s long walks, outdoor adventures, or fun enrichment activities, Buck is eager to participate. He is already neutered and appears excited to start his next chapter with someone who appreciates hound traits—curiosity, determination, and that classic coonhound enthusiasm for life. If you’re looking for a dog who stands out from the crowd and is ready to channel his energy into something positive, Buck could be a great match.

Meet Primadonna Girl — your built-in social coordinator. Primadonna Girl is bright, affectionate, and famously friendly. She loves people, enjoys meeting new friends, and takes her role as neighborhood ambassador very seriously. Walks, hikes, and exploring new places are her happy zone, and she makes an enthusiastic adventure partner. She has a zest for life and does best with regular exercise and mental stimulation, which helps her settle beautifully at home.
