Story
The very best things about Walter are his grumpy face and his silly personality. He is very much puppy-like and inquisitive about everything. Walter was picked up as a stray on NYE and transferred to RMFBR by the shelter. He is hairless. His DNA results came back at 9% Chinese Crested and 91% French bulldog. He will need care for his hairless skin. He would be best with someone that wants a dog to be by their side all the time: A very faithful, silly, yet naughty shadow. His favorite place to be is right next to or on top of his person - he has to be touching them! Someone that is willing to work with him on training. He is very smart and treat motivated. He has practiced a little bit of agility and has done really well. Working his brain helps keep him out of trouble. Daily Routine Breakfast at 7am Treat around noon Dinner at 5:30pm Bathroom breaks when he first wakes up and before bed. Usually wakes up between 4am-6am to go to the bathroom and then goes back to sleep till breakfast time. Spends his day alternating between napping, playing with toys and if the weather is nice, a little sun bathing and exploring the yard. We walk at least every other day. He would love to walk daily. We walk at least mile up to 1 miles (dependent on weather/temperature). Sleeping Walter sleeps in a crate outfitted with a fuzzy bed and soft blanket. He is good about going in the crate at night, but sometimes he tries to stay on the couch. He is easily persuaded with a small treat followed by belly rubs. He is crated since he usually has to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and since it is so warm and cozy in the house, he would prefer to go to the bathroom in the house than outside. Bathroom Training He uses a dog door most of the time. There are pee pads by the dog door in case it is too cold outside and he does use them. He does not use the dog door at night. He sleeps in a crate and is taken out if he has to go then back to bed. The crate is in our bedroom, if you would like for him to serenade you all night, he can be crated in another room. He is really good about NOT going to the bathroom in his crate. He is so good that he will let out the tiniest whine between 4am-6am to let you know he has to go. Then when you open the crate door he just lays there looking at you like disturbed his sleep. Don't fall for this trick! He is waiting for you to go to the bathroom and just when you are mid-stream he will exit the crate to find a warm spot in the house to go to the bathroom. Therefore, it is recommended to carry him to the door and put him out to go to the bathroom. This is usually only necessary for the middle of the night bathroom breaks. When it is cold out you do have to make sure he goes out to the bathroom. It is recommended you keep eyes on him until he goes to the bathroom. He is always waiting for you to drop your guard. A few prompts and a stern look will usually get him to go. Walter knows how to "fake pee to get back inside when it's cold. He will make a very brief squat like he is peeing, usually making direct eye contact with you, but doesn't actually pee. Then comes running back inside, very happy with himself. Walks He loves going on walks. He usually takes his time sniffing around and goes the pace of his foster siblings. When walking with his foster sister, he likes to try to play with her, but he doesn't do it with his old man foster brother (he knows better). When his harness comes out, he sits patiently for you to put it on him. Car Rides He loves going on car rides. His favorite spot is to sit on the backseat and rest on the hammock divider with his paws on the center console or in the doggy booster seat. He is very good in the car. He prefers if you lift him in and out of the car. Dogs Absolutely LOVES other dogs; especially if they will play with him. When dogs come to his home then he can be wild and things its wrestle time. He may need to be redirected to settle down. If he is meeting them on neutral territory, he starts off shy and then warms up to his playful self. He would love to have another dog that will play and run around with him. Kids & Cats Walter hasn't been around either. He saw a cat on a walk and was very interested. I think he would be very excited and interested in kids or cats and depending on how they respond to him will determine his interest level. I think he would be good with kids that are respectful of him and that would play well with him. He does play bit/chew like a puppy, so that would need to be managed. Likes: Literally just about everything! He is crazy for any kind of food! Licky mats with yogurt & peanut butter or baby food. Dislikes: Anyone that doesn't like him. Not being near his people. Water on his face & ears. Grooming He will need regular baths for his skin. He is very good at getting baths. He gets a licky mat treat stuck to the side of the tub and he enjoys that while getting washed. He doesn't like having water on his face, so a wash cloth is used for his face. Other Personality Stuff He is cautious when he goes to new places or meets new people. Once he has had a chance to check it out and realize all is good, he relaxes and is very playful. He loves being near his people! He is always there, watching you, or touching you. When you think he isn't around, you will be surprised by his cold, wet face pressed against you. Anything that he can get in his mouth, that he wants to get in his mouth, will get in there - especially if he knows you are not watching and if he is even slightly bored. So far everything he has eaten has come out the other end. Hair ties, stud earrings, foam from inside a dog bed, eye ointment, twigs & mulch are the things I can recall. Highly recommended to have pet insurance. We have managed this in two ways: 1. He is crated when we are not home or if I need to do something and can't keep an eye on him. 2. We have "Walter-proofed an area and he is limited to that space when we are not around. This means removing anything from reach that could get in his mouth. Anything that could be reached by him hopping on a chair, couch, or low table to get on a surface.

Story
Frank was a shelter transfer - he was found with Gary and Walter on NYE and was bald. He has been diagnosed with color-dilute alopecia and partial blindness. He is happiest in a home with no other pets. Frank is crate trained and honestly loves snuggling up in there at night - although he of course loves his pre-bedtime snuggles in bed with us. He wakes up when we do, around 7ish on weekdays and 8-9 on weekends. From there it's time for breakfast which lamb and rice kibble. He gobbles it down and makes the funniest noises while he does. He's happy to play out in the yard to potty, but he loves walks around the neighborhood too. We've gone on some longer walks - up to 1 hour, but he's fine with 20 minutes. He really loves if we walk him to our local coffee shop or brewery where he can meet people. We often see kids on our walks and Frank gets so excited (but has always been respectful!), giving kisses and letting them pet him all over. Frank doesn't play with a lot of toys but loves bones and sometimes the stuffy toys. Franks has been left at home, crated for around 6-6.5 hours and does amazing. He sleeps the whole time and is often still sleeping when I get back from work. Frank has met both cats and dogs. He was overly excited when he met the cat, so he didn't get let off leash. He's been around dogs as well. While he may adapt, he's had instances of antagonizing other dogs if they're getting more attention from a human. He would prefer to be the only animal in his home. He wants all the attention! Frank is definitely food motivated. Loves meal time, treats and bones. I haven't necessary taught him many tricks but I think he'd learn quickly with treat motivation! His absolute favorite thing to do is cuddle with his humans. On the couch. On the bed. Anywhere! He's a cuddle bug and the best nap buddy! He also just loves being cozy. I'll often find him cuddled into a chair or pillows when I'm working from home. He hates the cold and has to be forced outside to potty when it's snowing. He wouldn't necessarily be a great hiking buddy - he's definitely got some Frenchie in him! Although I'd never say never! He's a fit little guy! He's got the goofiest face, underbite and snuggle teeth. He's always making us laugh. Frank arrived to the shelter with a lot of hair loss and skin irritation. He's been taking melatonin for hair growth with breakfast and dinner for nearly 2 months. That, along with a regular diet, baths and TLC, he's grown tons of hair back - although his ears and wonky tail are still hairless. :) Additionally, he arrived with some scar tissue on his eyes from prolonged dryness. He can see just fine, but he takes twice daily eye drops (like an absolute champ!) to ensure proper lubrication of his eyes! Frank absolutely adores his humans. He'll do great with a single-person, roommates (he loves hanging with the girls!!) or a family without other pets! He is truly so special and will make you the happiest you've ever been. Shelter transfer. Severe skin loss. Possible allergies

Story
Hi! I am Buddy. I am a handsome, loving, full of character, will make you smile, warrior, super hero of a frenchie that would love to be your next shadow! I love snuggling with humans and my fur friends, of course treats, car rides, walks (but short or in my wheel chair.) Sometimes on walks I like to bark at other dogs, but I'm just protecting my foster family. I got hit by a car on my left side, so I'm still healing from that. My front left leg will probably take a significant amount of time to get back to normal, but I think it will come back slowly but surely. My foster family likes to use my DNA vibe on me to help the healing and it also is very relaxing. Like I said earlier, I also have a wheel chair that I don't love, but I'm practicing everyday to like it. I DO like having ramps in my foster families house because then I can get on the couch and bed easily. If you have stairs, you will probably have to carry me for the time being. I have a lot of energy and I am a determined, warrior frenchie. If I want to get some where, I will. I also like to run outside when the door opens, just to get out there and see what's going on. so Becareful with me, because I will try to escape!I get along with other small fur friends, but when they get to be bigger than me, I'm not too sure about them. I also like to eat my food in private and my treats and bones. Sometimes if I see my fur friend with a toy I want, i get upset and will go after them. So best to leave some toys for private time. I eat my delicious Purina Pro twice a day. And I am always down for a delicious treat. I sleep with my foster parents and foster fur sibling in their giant king bed. I prefer to spoon, small spoon is my favorite. I like to wake up when they get up and I need to go potty first thing. I spend my day loungin, soakin up the sun, following you around everywhere you go and putting smiles on faces! My foster mom is constantly taking pics of me because I'm so handsome. I call her the pup-a-rozzzzzzi! I am one handsome boy and would love to fill your heart if I sound fitting and right for you! Buddy was transferred from a shelter. He is slightly paralyzed in the rear end. Buddy was hit by a car and is still recovering. His left front shoulder nerves are still recovering and he may not be able to use that leg for another six months. He is in a 4-down cart. He is a happy, silly, and sweet boy. Buddy is in Utah but we can help transport. Buddy will have a $300 special needs concession on his adoption donation.

Story
Hi, my name is Ollie! I’m a 5-year-old little man looking for his forever person to follow around and sleep with. It took me just three days to warm up to my first foster home. I like to follow my fosters around, sit as close to them as possible, stare at them until I fall asleep, and love other doggos. I weigh a strong 8 lbs. I sneeze a lot when I get excited. I am still learning to be potty trained, but I’m getting the hang of it. Outside used to scare me, but my dog friends showed me how fun it can be, so I gallop around the backyard with them and contribute an occasional strong howl. I sleep most of the day. I don’t understand leashes or walks yet, but I don't need a ton of exercise. I just need a comfortable lap to sleep on and someone to give me back scratches. I promise I’m a keeper and the most adorable thing you’ve ever seen. I'm a French Bulldog mix and up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. I'm looking forward to meeting you today! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##2005793##
