Please contact Constance (connibouchard@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Rescued dogBiography Important Information Please read! If you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children and we do not know how they will react. Please do not waste your time or ours if you are not prepared to adopt within 2 weeks and you are not willing to pick the dog up at its location. Hi! My name is Maddie, and I am a sweet French bulldog girl who is 5 years old, and I weigh 27 pounds. I get along with other dogs and I do need an adopter who is familiar with the needs of my breed. Children over 7 years old would be okay with me. If you have been waiting for a nice Frenchie, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org.   &#226&#128&#139 Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure Blooper finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our  adoption application  so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours  (please check your spam folder for our emails) .   Blooper | 1-Year-Old Frenchie Mix | Professional Snuggle Bug Blooper is a sweet, gentle, low-energy boy who wants nothing more than a calm home, a cozy couch, and a human to lean his head on. At just 17 pounds, he’s the perfect little companion—quiet, affectionate, and happiest curled up under the covers with his people. He’s fully house trained, does well in his crate, and sleeps through the night without a peep. When left alone for a few hours, he settles in after a bit of initial whining and relaxes until his humans return. Blooper is still learning how to walk on a leash, and he finds solo outings a little intimidating. He does much better when following another dog’s lead, so continued patience and positive reinforcement will help his flourish. He has had positive experiences with both similar-sized and larger dogs, and he’s done great around cats. Children are an unknown so far, but Blooper’s gentle nature suggests he may acclimate with slow, respectful introductions. Food and affection are his biggest motivators, and he’ll happily work for cheese, pets, or a warm lap. He enjoys soft toys but will enthusiastically unstuff them, so a bit of supervision is best. With his calm demeanor and big heart, Blooper would thrive in a quiet home—perhaps with older adults or a low-key family—who are ready to offer him consistency, love, and plenty of couch time. He’s an easygoing little companion who will reward his people with endless warmth and loyalty.   If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.  The adoption fee for this pet is $500. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.  Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking  here . Please give us 48 hours to review your application and respond to you. (Remember to check your spam folder for our emails!) We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email dogs@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can't accept calls. PLEASE NOTE:  The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter.  Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets.  Here is some interesting info on breed identification:  https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
