Story
Meet Enzo! 🐾 Enzo is a handsome 5-year-old French Bulldog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This lovable little guy is looking for a home where he can be part of the family and soak up all the love and attention he deserves. Enzo absolutely adores people and is happiest when he’s spending time with his humans—whether that’s hanging out on the couch, going for a short walk, or simply being your loyal sidekick around the house. He’s friendly, affectionate, and truly enjoys being part of everyday life. Because of his enthusiasm and bulldog strength, Enzo would do best in a home with children over 14 years old. He’s a wonderful companion and will thrive with a family that understands and appreciates his playful personality. When it comes to other dogs with proper introductions he will be fine, but introductions should be slow and proper to set everyone up for success. With the right match and guidance, he can absolutely coexist happily. Aside from that, Enzo is an all-around fantastic dog who just needs the right home to call his own. If you’re looking for a loyal, funny, and affectionate companion, Enzo might be your perfect match. 🐶 Age: 5 years 🏡 Home Requirements: Kids 14+ 🐕 Dogs: Possible with slow introduction to female dogs ❤️ Personality: Loving, loyal, and full of bulldog charm Crate trained, professionally trained with basic training and some tricks, great in a car, leash trained and completely potty trained. If you’re ready to welcome a sweet, silly, and devoted companion into your life, Enzo is waiting to meet you! 💙

Story
Due to the owner's illness, Miss Fig was returned to us as her family could no longer care for her. Miss Fig embodies everything you would expect from her breed—she is comical and full of personality. She thrives in a home with another small dog but can also be your one and only companion. Her compatibility with cats is unknown. Fig is both housetrained and crate trained. She adores car rides and eagerly waits by the door to accompany you on errands. Playful and energetic, she can enjoy a cozy evening watching TV or engage in a lively game of tug. Veterinary care can be costly, and French Bulldogs often require more medical attention than many other breeds. Fig has a luxating patella, which does not affect her mobility, but you will need to keep an eye on her zoomies. Last year, her ears were treated twice for yeast and bacteria infections. After switching her diet to Venture Rabbit and Pumpkin dry formula, her ear issues have significantly decreased. She also had a histoma in her ear that was treated, resulting in one ear flopping when it healed, which we believe adds to her charm. Additionally, she requires daily tail cleaning using Malaket (dispensed from her veterinarian) wipes for her tail and pocket. If this level of care seems overwhelming, it may be best to reconsider adopting a Frenchie, as this is minimal compared to the needs of other French Bulldogs. Submit your app at www.almosthomeri.org

Story
Our rather serious looking boy Henry Is a charming 5 year old Frenchie who is approximately 25 pounds and a truly playful little 'clown' with surprisingly high bursts of energy. He has a sharp and brilliant mind that is highly motivated by treats and playtime. This boy is a true lover boy that is a great cuddler.  His favorite pasttime is to relax next to his human on the couch and zone as everyone destressed from the day.  He is fully crate trained and enjoys sleeping in his crate on his special dog bed at night or next to his humans.  Henry does like to play with other dogs.  In fact he enjoys their company and being a part of a pack of dogs.  Our only downside about Henry is that he needs to be fed separately from the other dogs.  Often just being fed in his crate and making sure all other dogs have eaten before letting him out is all you need to do to avoid any food possessiveness.  He is fine with people around his food but he thinks all other dogs MUST be wanting to get to his food....even if they don't.  If there are other dogs in the home the new adopter just needs to monitor dinnertime. Otherwise, he can definitely thrive in a household with other animals and with someone who is patience and willing to work with him during dinnertime.  Frenchie are smart and strong-willed dogs.  They are not for softie owners or they will get run over by a dog that wants to control you.  He is good with following commands and if you are a leader then he will be the best dog.  The commands he knows are stop, sit, wait, outside and go to your crate.  Our Henry is a happy boy despite some instability the past 5 years.    He doesn't have very much leash experience and you will have to work on that which is not hard to do.  With daily practice he will get there.  Henry has no emotional issues or 'damage' to his soul. He just needs a person to call his own forever and ever.  Could that be you!?   Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com    He is currently fostered in Tennessee and can ride up on the certified animal transport van on March 20th to the northeastern region.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 11, 2026, 10:20 pm

Story
Brady’s story didn’t start the way any dog deserves. This sweet 8-year-old French Bulldog was found wandering the streets of rural Mississippi, going from house to house in search of food, kindness, and a safe place to rest. When he was rescued, Brady had several infected puncture wounds on his body, likely from another dog. Despite being in pain and clearly having had a rough time out there on his own, Brady never lost his gentle spirit. From the moment he arrived in rescue, Brady has shown everyone just how special he is. He is incredibly sweet, calm, and loving. He gets along perfectly with other dogs, politely ignores the cats, and is gentle and patient with children. Brady truly just wants to be near his people and enjoy the comfort of a safe home.Brady is also a very well-mannered gentleman. He is house-trained, leash-trained, crate-trained, and rides beautifully in the car. Whether it’s a short trip to the vet or a longer adventure, he’s happy to ride along as your co-pilot.Right now, Brady is healing from his wounds and will begin heartworm treatment once the infections have cleared. The good news is that he’s on the road to recovery and will be ready for his forever home soon. After everything he’s been through, Brady deserves a family who will cherish him and never let him feel abandoned again. He’s the kind of dog who will quietly fill your home with love, loyalty, and gratitude every single day.If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle companion with a heart of gold, Brady is waiting to meet you.Name: BradyBreed: French Bulldog/Boston Terrier (Breed mx is not guaranteed-no DNA testing done).Sex: FemaleAge: 8 years (estimated)Weight: 28.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS: Good with Children: YesGood with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: . Story
Cinnabon is a five-year-old French Bulldog who checks all the boxes for everything people love about a Frenchie. This lovable little guy is sweet, affectionate, and full of personality. True to the breed, he comes with the full package—adorable snorts, impressive snores, the occasional gas puff, and a constantly waggling little tail that shows just how happy he is. Cinnabon has the most unique and charming face. One eye is a striking mix of brown and blue, while the other is a warm solid brown, giving him a look that is impossible to forget. He was recently neutered and is settling into his new routine nicely. He is currently being treated for some pre-existing skin issues, but they are healing well and he’s responding nicely to care. With continued love and proper treatment, he should keep improving and feeling more comfortable in his own skin. Cinnabon is crate trained and actually enjoys having his own cozy space. When other dogs get a little too curious outside his crate, he appreciates the quiet time where he can relax without being bothered. One of his favorite things is curling up on a soft blanket for a good nap. He is still learning not to mark his territory, but his recent neuter should help, and with a little patience, consistency, and training, he will continue making progress. Cinnabon would thrive in a home that appreciates all the quirky, lovable traits that make French Bulldogs so special. If you’re looking for a snorting, snoring, blanket-loving companion with a wiggly tail and a heart full of love, Cinnabon might just be your perfect match. 🐾 This boy has a wonderful life ahead of him! Story
Have you searched everywhere for your very own goblin but keep only finding plain ol’ dogs? Well, it's your lucky day because this is a goblin dressed up like a dog. Luck comes in many forms and this 4-legged Clover is one of those forms. One that happens to snort, side-eyes with strength, and protects her ball with the fire of a tiny dragon. Call it gremlin charm or goblin goodness she doesn’t care. See for yourself here- https://youtu.be/jEZAHU8tRvY Clover, is estimated to be just shy of 3-year-old, she weighs 16-pounds, and is giving enough Frenchie-ish gremlin to lead us to believe she may be one. No promises, she is a rescue after all. If you have ever met a Frenchie you likely won’t need a DNA test to confirm it for you- she’s got that classic Frenchie personality: big opinions, bigger appetite, and zero apologies. She loves her food, her treats, and her toys - especially the ones she thinks you might also want. A true gremlin loves a tricky game of keep-away. She plays tug, she snorts in triumph, and then she’ll remind you (politely-ish) to keep your fingers clear of her toy. Clover’s ideal home is one that respects her boundaries and appreciates her quirks. She’s pick-up optional- meaning once you’ve earned her trust, she’ll let you scoop her up, but until then, admire her from the ground like the tiny queen she is. Clover is fostered in a loving home with a Collie mix, 3 y/o and a 10 month old cat- both she gets along easily with. She’s doing well with both the pets in her foster home and could happily coexist with low-key animal roommates who won’t take her sass personally. Her foster has shared that Clover is a personality with confidence and packs a hilarious amount of attitude in that tiny body. She is the kind of dog who makes you laugh when she’s mad, who gives a side-eye loud and clear, and who (on her terms, obviously) turns into the most affectionate, squishy cuddlebug you’ve ever met. Celebrate her chaos and that wild looking, a bat-eared body, and admit you think she is absolutely hilarious and totally worth it. Is Clover feeling like your lucky charm? Ready to welcome her home?
