Story
This beautiful girl came to us when her owner moved to Tennessee and was unable to find a place to live that allowed pets. Both Opal and her owner were heartbroken. Opal is a one and a half year old purebred white and fawn French bulldog. She weighs 22 pounds and she is now spayed, up-to-date on required vaccines, heartworm tested negative and micro chipped. She is a healthy little girl looking for her forever home. She is house trained, and she gets along ok with other dogs, but definitely wants to be the center of attention so she would do well with another laid-back dog or as an only dog. She is great with kids. If you would like to be sweet Opal’s hero, please email omlc7@hotmail.com or dogs4mylife@gmail.com and we will send our information and application. PLEASE NOTE THAT A LOT OF OUR RESPONSES GO TO JUNK MAIL SO IF YOU DO NOT SEE A RESPONSE FROM US, PLEASE CHECK YOUR JUNK/SPAM FOLDER.

Story
Meet Choco: The Mighty Frenchie Dynamo! If you’re looking for a tiny but mighty bundle of joy, meet Choco—the French bulldog equivalent of a firecracker! This 30-pound, one-year -old powerhouse is packed with energy and charm, and he’s on a mission to dominate your heart (and possibly the local dog park).Choco is a high-energy adventurer who believes that every day is a new opportunity to play, run, and earn some serious belly rubs. Friendly with people (he’s practically a canine social butterfly), Choco does have a particular taste in friends. He’s dog-selective and prefers to be the king of his castle, but don’t worry; he plays well with submissive pals who recognize his royal demeanor!Though he sports a cleft palate, Choco’s eating skills are nothing short of impressive, and his condition doesn’t hold him back one bit. He’s neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on all his vaccines—essentially, he’s ready to party! Choco is not completely potty trained, but with a consistent schedule and positive reinforcement he will do fine.Choco’s motto is simple: “A tired Choco is a happy Choco!” So, prepare yourself for long walks, epic play sessions, and all the training fun you can handle. With a little guidance, he’s eager to become the best version of himself. Are you ready to embrace the chaos and cuteness that is Choco? He’s not just the cutest dog in the world; he’s also the best adventure buddy you could ask for!!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
Milo is a very playful and energetic young dog who was transferred to us by Ludlow Animal Control after his owner moved out of state. He is a 3-year-old, 18 lb. Beagle/French Bulldog mix, also known as a Frengle Hound. This little pup loves to play fetch and run around with his toys. He enjoys playing with other dogs but some dogs may not appreciate his high energy. He is looking for an adopter who's comfortable with training or will take him to training classes, as he needs some manners. Milo seems house-trained and rode well in a crate on his long drive here. No cats or small animals for this boy; he has a bit too much interest in chasing, although he did back right off when we cat-tested him with a kitty that stood her ground. Milo was neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped on 2/6 so he is ready for a new home. If you are interested in adopting a dog, please fill out our dog adoption application here: http://medfieldshelter.com/adopt. Our adoption fee for dogs ages 7 months to 7 years is $450. Dogs 8 years and up are $250. Every dog we place is vaccinated, wormed, treated for ticks/fleas, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We send each dog home with a collar and leash. With very few exceptions, dogs are happiest and the most well-behaved when they receive daily exercise and ongoing training, so we always prefer to place our dogs with families who are willing to make a commitment to both. All adoption meetings are by appointment only as we only have two employees. Our manager or one of our volunteers will be happy to set up an appointment for you to come meet the pets, but please fill out the adoption application first.

Story
Capone is a lovable 7-year-old pup weighing 31 pounds with a unique background and an even more unique personality. Originally purchased as a puppy from a pet store, he was marketed as a French Bulldog and Beagle mix. Whatever his lineage may be, one thing is for sure—Capone is 100% amazing! This housebroken boy is great with kids and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He has a warm, gentle nature that makes him a joy to have around. While he’s been kennel-trained, Capone would much rather spend his time with people who can give him the love and companionship he deserves.Sadly, his previous family had to make the tough decision to rehome him due to long work hours, but Capone is ready to find a forever home where he can be part of the action and enjoy all the cuddles he loves so much. Could that be with you?IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.February 7, 2025, 4:53 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Cookie, an adorable French Bulldog who was owner-surrendered to our facility due to not getting along with their female dogs.  She was recently adopted out to a great family who had a male frenchy.  They got along great, until someone showed attention to the male.  Due to her behavior, she can only be adopted out as a single dog.   Like a typical Frenchie, Cookie is vocal, playful, and full of personality! She does very well for car rides, and loves attention and would do best in a home where she can be the star of the show.  Cookie is spayed, fully vetted, and ready for her forever home. Her adoption fee is $500. Currently located in Texas, she can be transported to several cities across the U.S., including Washington, Portland (OR), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington (KY), or along the East Coast. Please note that an additional transport fee of $225 applies. Unfortunately, we cannot transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations. Will you be the one to give Cookie her forever home?  You can apply for her at www.adoggie4you.org.   This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 7, 2025, 11:03 pm
