Story
Meet Honey – 42 pounds of sass, smarts, and snuggles with a tongue that loves to stick out just for fun. This girl isn’t just a dog—she’s a full-on personality. Honey is looking for a home that gets her—a dog-savvy human who appreciates a little quirk and a lot of heart. She’s obsessed with toys (especially balls), and she takes her playtime very seriously—like, “this toy is now part of my estate” seriously. Because of her strong personality and resource-guarding tendencies, Honey is best suited for an adult-only, single-animal household where people respect her boundaries. Don’t try to take her toy unless you’re offering a treat she can smell from two miles away (which she will). Honey is: 🐾 A loyal sidekick who loves to follow her person room to room 🛋️ Obsessed with belly rubs, back rubs, and the cold tile floor 🎓 Super smart and knows “leave it,” “go get your bone,” and “go drink water” 🐕‍🦺 A respectful queen who can give a polite correction to a nosy dog 🏃‍♀️ A high-five champ with her paws (yes, really) 🚶‍♀️ A great walking buddy—not distracted by other dogs 🌱 A fan of rolling in cool grass, rolling down hills, or really, rolling anywhere Honey is happiest when she’s your one and only. She can guard her people from other animals, and while she’s not aggressive, she’s happiest when she doesn’t have to share your attention. At night? She’ll snuggle under the covers, or settle into her own bed like a polite little cuddle muffin. Honey’s ready for her forever home—ideally one where she can be adored, spoiled, and treated like the hilarious, affectionate, toy-hoarding goofball she is. 🐾💛 If you are interested in finding out more about Honey, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Honey is being fostered in Worcester, MA. The adoption fee is $500. Like Broken Tail Rescue on Facebook!. Follow Broken Tail Rescue on Instagram! Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.

Story
Meet Romie – your future snack-sized sidekick with a big personality and even bigger ears! 🐾 Romie is a 10-month-old French Bulldog mix who clocks in at a petite 12lbs—but don’t let the size fool you, this girl is jam-packed with charm. She's super cute, friendly, and gets along with kiddos. Romie is social with other dogs and is always down for a play session. That said, when it comes to mealtime, she’s a firm believer in “what’s mine is mine” and won’t hesitate to say so. To keep things smooth, her foster crates her during meals—and that works nicely. So, during mealtime, she gets her own VIP dining suite to keep the peace. 🍽️✨ If you’re looking for a compact, kid-friendly, dog-lovin’, food-defending goofball to light up your life—Romie’s your girl. 🍽️💁‍♀️🐾. Adopt her before someone else scoops up this tiny queen! 👑🐶 If you are interested in finding out more about Romie, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Romie is being fostered in Cambridge, MA. Story
Meet Liberty—36 pounds of pure bulldog charm with a side of “I need to get to know you first.” This 1-year-old French/English Bulldog mix may play it cool at first, but give her a little time, and she’ll be your ultimate cuddle buddy. Before coming to her current foster home, Liberty was living in a car, so she’s still adjusting to the luxuries of indoor life. She’s mostly house-trained but might have an occasional accident if you miss her potty signals (cut her some slack—she’s still figuring out that carpets aren’t grass). She’s a social butterfly with other dogs, from tiny 2-pounders to 130-pound giants, and she’s got four kid roommates (ages 1, 5, 7, & 9) that she does great with. She’s also an A+ adventure buddy—whether on-leash or off-leash, she’s a fantastic hiker who will happily hit the trails with you. And when she’s not out exploring, she’s busy collecting her prized possessions: toys and sticks (the bigger, the better). If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly pup who just needs a little patience to blossom, Liberty is your girl! 🚗➡️🏡💖 If you are interested in finding out more about Liberty, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Liberty is being fostered in Milford, MA. Story
Meet Sukie – Your Future Best Friend! Sukie, a charming Frenchie, is ready to find her forever home! She can be a little nervous with new people at first, so she’d do best in a home with adults or older kids. Once she settles in, she’s a devoted loveable companion. She loves her short walks, car rides, and belly rubs. While Sukie is fine meeting other dogs on outings, she’d prefer to have her human all to herself—she can be a little jealous. Her future family should also know that cats are not her thing. Sukie is spayed, has had her cherry eye repaired, and is fully vetted. She’s adoption-ready and looking for you! Apply today to bring Sukie home:    This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption.
