Baylee **Not Available to Be Seen Until Open House on Wednesday 4/15** Good with Kids & Dogs! Meet Baylee! 3 yrs./17lb./Female/Pug Mix Name: Baylee Age: 3 years Weight: 17 lbs Breed: Pug Mix Status: Petite, expressive, and ready to be your little shadow About Me: Hi, I’m Baylee — a sweet, soulful girl with big, expressive eyes and a whole lot of personality packed into my tiny frame. I may be small, but I’ve got opinions, charm, and a serious love for my people. I’m the kind of pup who bonds closely and likes to be near you — whether that’s following you around the house, keeping you company on the couch, or just making sure I’m included in whatever you’re doing. I’ve got a gentle, affectionate side, but also a little bit of that classic pug sass that keeps things interesting. At 3 years old, I’m past the puppy chaos but still have a playful spark. I’m looking for a home where I can feel safe, loved, and truly part of the family. Best Qualities: • Affectionate and people-focused • Adorable, expressive face (those eyes say it all) • Loyal and loves being close to her humans • Playful with a fun little personality • The perfect small companion My Ideal Match: • A loving home where I can be close to my people • Someone who enjoys a loyal “shadow” dog • A family that appreciates a little personality and charm • A cozy environment with plenty of cuddle time Deal Breakers: • Being left alone too often • A home that doesn’t want a close companion • Being overlooked — I deserve to be someone’s whole world Fun Fact: I can say a lot with just one look… and yes, you’ll understand every word.

Annie is a cute little bundle of Pug puppy energy!  She is a beautiful small Pug mix who loves to play with dogs of all sizes. Her play style with other pups is energetic and puppy feisty. She does best with 2 to 3 hours of activity a day for now. Annie gets along with adults, kids and cats too. She is young so she is still learning about crates, walking on a leash and she is working on house training. Annie loves her teething ring toys! We don't know all that much about Annie's past yet but she is said to have a silly, spunky, clown Pug personality. Her playful antics will brighten her new family's day and she is ready to bring that sunshine to her forever home.  An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see   HERE   for more information about this. Story
Meet Charlie — 36 pounds of snuggly chaos wrapped in a Beagle/Pug mystery blend, aged 3 years and fueled entirely by enthusiasm, feelings, and snacks. Charlie is a professional cuddler, elite blanket burrower, and part-time zoomie athlete. He operates on two settings:
1️⃣ Full-throttle play mode — bouncing, leaping, and occasionally expressing himself with a little mouthy enthusiasm
2️⃣ Marshmallow mode — melting into your lap, pressing his face into yours, and tunneling under the covers like a cozy little mole He adores his people. Like, nose-to-nose, please don’t stop petting me, ever level adoration. Affection is his love language, followed closely by treats (more on that in a second). ✨ Training glow-up alert:
Charlie is highly treat-motivated, and it’s paying off in a big way. With snacks on board, he’s been doing great walking near people and dogs and has been friendly when meeting strangers. Public outings have become much calmer when treats are involved. He’s currently working with trainers at Tayls in Trails in Watertown, MA, and showing real progress. Snacks = success. The fine print (aka, Charlie’s boundaries): ·       🐶 Other dogs? Hard no. ·       🐱 Cats? Also no. ·       👶 Kids? Not a match — we’re looking for an adult-only home. Charlie wants to be your one-and-only. He’s not here for a group project; he’s here for a solo starring role. He will make his opinions known around other animals, so a pet-free home is essential. The good news? ·       💩 House trained ✔️ ·       🛏️ Crate trained ✔️ ·       ❤️ Loyal, affectionate, hilarious ✔️ Charlie has a big personality and an even bigger heart. With structure, continued training, patience, and a steady supply of treats, he’s going to be someone’s absolute soulmate dog — the kind who sleeps under the covers, follows you everywhere, and loves you like it’s his full-time job. Adopt Charlie — because beneath the spice is a gooey, devoted marshmallow who just wants to snuggle his way into your life (and your bed). 🐾💛 If you are interested in finding out more about Charlie, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Charlie is being fostered in Boston, MA. The adoption fee is $500. Like Broken Tail Rescue on Facebook!. Follow Broken Tail Rescue on Instagram! Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.

Story
Meet Forrest. My rescue story begins when my foster mom, Katherine, found me after I was dumped in her neighborhood. No family ever came forward to claim me, and that is their loss because I am a wonderful dog. Katherine would love to tell you more about me. Forrest is loving, fun, and the perfect companion. He is crate trained and house trained. He enjoys being around other dogs of all sizes. He loves trips to the dog park and any kind of outing. One of his favorite activities is going for car rides, so he will happily join you on all kinds of adventures. If you are ready to add love and fun to your life, Forrest is the one for you. If you are interested in adopting, please email Katherine at neiho7@aol.com for an adoption application. Each dog receives two distemper and parvo vaccines, a Bordetella vaccine, deworming, a heartworm test, and if positive, treatment with Immiticide. Each dog is also spayed or neutered, placed on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, and microchipped. The adoption fee is $500 . This includes all vetting listed above, along with the additional vet visit and health certificate required for transport from Tennessee, where Forrest currently lives. If you would like a shorter or more playful version, I can create that too.

Story
Meet Minnie, a 2-year-old Pug mix weighing 27 pounds with the cutest little underbite and a beautiful white chest and collar that gives her a “queenly” look. She’s as sweet as she is adorable and fully believes she’s here to love you… and collect a few treats along the way. Minnie is a happy, playful girl with a medium to high energy level. She loves playing with her foster dog siblings and enjoys toys, especially antlers and squeaky toys. She’ll chase a ball here and there, but she’d much rather engage with her people or other dogs than nap the day away. She’s very alert and will pop up quickly if she hears something new, making her both entertaining and a great little watchdog. She is house trained, though she has had a few recent accidents that may be related to medication she’s currently on while recovering from heartworm treatment. Minnie is crate trained with a little encouragement, especially if a treat is involved, and she settles in nicely once inside. When left alone, she does well resting in her crate for 4 to 8 hours. Minnie is great with tweens and teens and would do well in a home with or without kids. She gets along well with other dogs, especially those in the 30 to 60 pound range, and enjoys having playmates. Cats and other animals are unknown at this time. She’s a smart girl who already knows sit and shake and is currently working on “come here,” “lay down,” and “get in your box.” On leash, Minnie is still learning and can be a bit of a zig-zagger who pulls, but with consistency and a little patience, she’ll continue to improve. She is very food motivated, which makes training easier and fun. Car rides can make Minnie a little nervous, though she has already started improving. For longer trips, she may benefit from some calming support, but she’s making great progress and gaining confidence. Minnie’s ideal home is simply one that will love her. She’s affectionate, playful, and full of personality. When you look into her eyes, she seems to say, “I’m a cutie patootie, here to give you love and kisses,” and she truly means it. If you’re looking for a sweet, fun-loving companion who will keep you smiling and shower you with affection, Minnie may be your perfect match. You can apply directly for Minnie by clicking the Apply for Adoption button on the linked page. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-799 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle your new family member into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).
