Story
Annabelle is the sweetest little love. If you let her, she'd happily sit on your lap, snuggle up and sleep all day. She is fully potty trained, knows simple commands and loves to be warm, the more blankets the netter! Annabelle is not aggressive towards cats, just wants to play, even if the cat is clearly not interested. Annabelle does not have much experience with other dogs but with the few dogs she has encountered, there have been no signs of aggression, just ready to play. She loves car rides, going for walks and playing with her toys. She is not food aggressive and is great with children.

Story
*Name: Jade *Age: 1 year old *Current Weight: 25 lbs *Rescued from: New York *Adoption fee: $475  Meet Jade — a 1-year-old French Bulldog/Chihuahua mix with the perfect blend of charm, brains, and heart. Jade’s mom was a French Bulldog and her dad was a Chihuahua, giving her the best of both worlds in one adorable package. She’s truly great with everyone she meets — adults, kids, and new friends alike — and wins hearts wherever she goes. While Jade currently lives in the city, she’s decided that her soul is a little more country/suburban gal. She dreams of having a yard where she can stretch her legs, explore, and enjoy the sunshine. A quieter home with space to roam would be her absolute ideal. When she’s not dreaming of backyard adventures, Jade loves her downtime just as much. She’s a big fan of watching TV (especially sports and anything with animals), tackling puzzle games, and hanging out with her people. She’s smart, engaged, and enjoys being part of whatever you’re doing. If you’re looking for a sweet, well-rounded pup who’s equally happy playing outside or cuddling up to watch the game, Jade may be the perfect match for you. She’s ready to trade city life for a forever home full of love, laughter, and maybe even a yard of her own To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/ PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR FAQs  ##2652051##

Story
Caron is not bad with dogs and lives with many but because the ideal home is a home without other dogs so she can be fussed and fawned over 24/7. Ideally she would go with someone everywhere and be with a person who made her their only child. She is high strung yet loving and beautiful and fascinating to observe. She loves people and trips in the car and sleeping with her human. Her history is a drop off at the rescue by a son and mother who were unable to handle her medical which at the time was a prolapsed anus. We operated twice, the second time was the serious surgery that solved the issue for good. Other wise she has been very healthy. Approx 2 years old. I hope you are able to understand who she is named after, she rather resembles her. Her adoption fee is high (950.00) because 1) we are in no hurry to place her and 2) when we do decide the right home is out there, she can help support the seniors and special needs sanctuary dogs, many of whom she has bullied for months! LOL. She is highly athletic and if not too clingy might be great at agility courses. She listens well and has great recall, she might have separation anxiety if left alone so the ideal home is one where she is with someone and not left alone. WeI currently take her everywhere, she loves the car, crates well. She is accustomed to dry CA air but is adapting and doing great now that fall has arrived. Feel free to call with questions and to request photos. An application and references will be required. We have a black youngster Dobby who she loves to play with and plays HARD. She is medium in size, she is a perfect Frenchie, expressive and great personality. Overly friendly and just wonderful to look at and work with.

Story
Meet Oliver, a 10-year-old French Bulldog with a big heart and an even bigger personality. He’s affectionate, goofy, and loves being close to his people, especially when it’s time to relax and snuggle. Oliver does best in a calm, predictable environment where his routine is respected. As he’s gotten older, we’ve learned that he truly thrives with one-on-one attention and a quieter household. He would be a wonderful companion for an adult or couple looking for a loyal, low-key best friend who enjoys playtime, good food, and lots of affection. Oliver is healthy, house-trained, fully vetted, and ready to settle into a home where he can feel secure and loved.

Story
Pikachu is a pocket-sized party starter with Frenchie Bulldog-ish swagger and full-on “are you ready for a good-time?” energy. He’s estimated to be around 4 years old, and he’s previously lived with kids where he was a great little playmate, and clearly, he already knows how to be part of the fun! Want to see this tiny thunderbolt in action? Head to YouTube for Pikachu Spark” and prepare yourself for some serious big-dog confidence in a perfectly portable body. https://youtu.be/WqysqNmFcOk It is hard not to lean into the Pokémon theme, but honestly the name Pikachu fits him too well. He has a funny ziggy tail, a set of pointy ears that command attention, and that perfectly charged side-kick vibe. Pikachu has basic leash manners and is responsive to guidance and redirection from his handler. He can get a little excited at the possibility of making a new friend in each passing dog but he is learning quickly that you make more friends by meeting them calmly and playing it cool. He is for sure the kind of little dude who’s going to thrive with consistent practice, structure, and a love for that big personality that any bully-babe brings. With other dogs, Pikachu is again channeling his name and bringing that electric energy. He is a bit like an enthusiastic player who runs onto the field before the whistle. He handled a confident, socially savvy dog well and understands dog social cues wonderfully. We could see Pickachu being a great sidekick for a confident but playful dog, who won’t be pushed around and can match his energy while still keeping him grounded. Pikachu also was great meeting our house cat, he showed a playful approach, but we can see that he would try to make a play connection with a feline friend so if he is going into a home with a cat, we encourage strong boundaries and slow intros and ideally another dog in the home so the cat isn’t the main outlet for Pikachu’s playful side. Pickachu is both house and crate trained and is a pro at the kennel routine- he walks right in, waits calmly, and before rushing out he lets you leash him which is a big green flag for day-to-day life. We think Pikachu could absolutely be successful in an apartment as long as he is getting the mental stimulation, physical outlets, and continued opportunities to build on his leash skills. Bottom line: Pikachu is a fun, confident, silly little spark who’s ready to “join your party,” and with the right structure he’ll be the best kind of collectible, the one you never want to trade away. Gotta catch ’em all… but honestly, once you catch Pikachu, you might stop right there. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
