Story
Caron is not bad with dogs and lives with many but because the ideal home is a home without other dogs so she can be fussed and fawned over 24/7. Ideally she would go with someone everywhere and be with a person who made her their only child. She is high strung yet loving and beautiful and fascinating to observe. She loves people and trips in the car and sleeping with her human. Her history is a drop off at the rescue by a son and mother who were unable to handle her medical which at the time was a prolapsed anus. We operated twice, the second time was the serious surgery that solved the issue for good. Other wise she has been very healthy. Approx 1.5 years old. I hope you are able to understand who she is named after, she rather resembles her. Her adoption fee is high (950.00) because 1) we are in no hurry to place her and 2) when we do decide the right home is out there, she can help support the seniors and special needs sanctuary dogs, many of whom she has bullied for months! LOL. She is highly athletic and jumps fences and climbs and if not too clingy might be great at agility courses. She listens well and has great recall, she might have separation anxiety if left alone so the ideal home is one where she is with someone and not left alone. WeI currently take her everywhere, which can be tricky due to the nature of the breed, Hot weather and exertion affect her due to her physiology. The humidity also has had an affect. She is accustomed to dry CA air but she is adapting and doing great now that fall has arrived. Feel free to call with questions and to request photos. An application and references will be required. We have a black youngster Dobby who she loves to play with and plays HARD. She is medium in size, she is a perfect Frenchie, expressive and great personality.

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.NATHAN is an easy-going boy who likes to be with the other dogs playing but he makes a little time to come get his head scratched!  He is 2 years old and 22 pounds and would make a great pet playmate or companion to anyone.  He adjust well to different environments. He was found as a stray and posted on social media looking for his owners but no one ever came forward which is unusual for a pure breed Frenchie.  I have not found any faults in him to understand why his owners just let him go. If you are interested in adopting NATHAN, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         April 3, 2025, 11:36 am

Story
I’m Peach—a petite 14-pound Frenchie with the sweetest little face and a heart that’s still learning how to trust. I’m 4-6 years old, and while I may be shy at first, I promise there’s a gentle, loving spirit waiting just beneath the surface. I might need a little extra time and patience, but once I feel safe, I’ll be your loyal gal for life. People tell me I’m absolutely adorable (and they’re not wrong!), but I’m hoping someone out there will see more than just a cute face—they’ll see the kind heart behind it. All I really want is someone who understands that love takes time and that the quietest dogs often have the deepest love to give. If you’re looking for a soft, snuggly little shadow to share your world with, I’d love for you to take a chance on me. I’m Peach, and I’m ready to find my forever! Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
Meet Apple Connie – the beautiful, sophisticated lady with the squishy bulldog face, the most cuddle-able body in the business (she’s 38 pounds of pure love!), and a personality that makes everyone she meets instantly fall for her. Around 4 years old and overflowing with charm, Apple has quickly become a favorite here at the rescue—and for good reason. She’s on a mission to make best friends of us all, one kiss and cuddle at a time. Apple is what we like to call a professional lovebug. She thrives on affection and attention and believes belly rubs are a basic human responsibility. Whether she’s sunbathing in a golden patch of light, snoozing at your feet, or gently placing her head in your lap for pets, Apple is here to be your best snuggle buddy, emotional support potato, and constant companion. See her in action here, and come back to read more! Happy Apple the loving little bulldog!!!🍎 https://youtu.be/lpshPyvlu5M?si=Z6Nli59VJo63-t5L She’s a mellow, couch-loving girl who still enjoys her daily walks, especially if it means she gets to greet new people along the way. Apple is famously gentle when taking treats, has great manners in the house, and sleeps peacefully in her crate at night. She’s potty trained, crate-trained, and learning her leash skills like a champ—especially since she’s highly food-motivated and eager to please. Apple gets along well with other dogs, especially once she’s had time to settle in. She prefers calm playmates who match her easygoing vibe—none of that big-dog, high-speed chaos for her, thank you very much. She’s more of a “let’s stroll around the yard and then nap in the shade” kind of gal. Now, about cats—Apple says, “no thank you.” She has officially decided that feline roommates are not her thing, and we respect that. We all have our boundaries, and Apple’s just happen to involve fur that meows. She’s also a natural in public and doesn’t mind being the center of attention (she assumes the admiration is well-deserved—and she’s not wrong). Whether riding calmly in the car, walking through the neighborhood like a local celebrity, or even being picked up or dressed up for Halloween, Apple takes it all in stride. She’s the perfect blend of classy and goofy. While she’s happy to share her space with another chill dog, Apple’s biggest requirement is a loving human (or several!) who will spoil her with affection and maybe share the couch. She’d love a yard for sunbathing, a home that understands the value of quality nap time, and people who will appreciate her quiet loyalty and subtle humor. She’s the kind of dog who will look into your soul and then... fall asleep on your feet. Apple Connie isn’t just ready for her forever home—she’s ready to move in and steal your heart. If you’re looking for a dog who will be your shadow, your best friend, and your most loyal cuddle companion, Apple is your girl. Ready to bring a new furry friend into your life? We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
