Story
Meet Koda! Looking for Their Forever Home A couple of months ago, we were made aware of two dogs in urgent need of rehoming. At first, we were not sure we had the capacity to help—but after meeting them, it was clear they needed immediate care, safety, and a second chance. With the help of an incredibly compassionate foster mom and a generous donor, Snoopy and Koda received full veterinary care and have been learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and part of a home. Now they’re ready for their forever family! Koda
Koda is an approximately 2-year-old female pug—and she is everything you love about pugs. She’s petite, playful, and incredibly sweet. She comes with:
A tiny tongue that peeks out when she sleeps
, the cutest little “vampire” underbite
, a squishy muffin head that’s impossible not to kiss She’s full of personality and love, and she will absolutely steal your heart. Their Personalities
: Both dogs are incredibly sweet and affectionate
, great with people and children, house-trained and adjusting well to home life
, learning how to play, relax, and just be dogs They share a strong bond and came from the same situation. However, we understand that may not be realistic, and we are open to applications for one or both. Both Snoopy and Koda are up to date on vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered/microchipped. We are committed to finding the absolute best homes for them. Adoption Requirements Completed application Personal and veterinary references Proof of home ownership or landlord approval (verbal & written) Meet & greet Home visit Interested in adopting? Please email: sdbpctrescue@gmail.com An application will be sent to you.

Story
Welcome Murphy to CCPAL Rescue. Murphy is a 10-week-old Pug mixed pup. He is a beautiful fawn color with a black muzzle. He has an underbite and a shortened nose. He is a smallest-sized boy pup in the liter. He should be 20 or 25 pounds full grown is our best estimate. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Murphy is one of two boys in the litter. He always comes when you call and wants to be picked up. They are all affectionate and cuddly. They are very playful with their siblings. They go on a wee pad but are not fully potty trained. They are good in a crate and are getting regular attention and love at the Rescue. We don’t have the privilege of adopting out many pugs. We are excited to find the pug pups their forever home. We would love pug people for these pups, as they know the breed most. They will be spayed and neutered and ready for their forever home soon. Someone that doesn’t work all day every day is the best candidate for a puppy. These pups would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older as these pups are small and very trusting of everyone. Murphy is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1869 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See his cute video!!

Welcome Johnny to CCPAL Rescue. Johnny is a 10-week-old Pug mix puppy. He is a beautiful tan color with a black muzzle. He has an underbite and a shortened nose. He is a bigger-sized boy pup in the liter. He should be 20 or 25 pounds full grown is our best estimate. He is a laid-back boy and was easy to take photos with. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Johnny is one of two boys in the litter. He was the last puppy to come out of his kennel as he was enjoying his nap. He was very workable and stood stil and sat willingly on the table for the photo shoot. They are all affectionate and cuddly. They are very playful with their siblings. They go on a wee pad but are not fully potty trained. They are good in a crate and are getting regular attention and love at the Rescue. We don’t have the privilege of adopting out many pugs. Story
Lola is the equivalent of a clown cars trunk, full of the fun stuff! Take cartoonish features, add four squeaky toys, a bouncy ball, at least one crinkle toy, and a pogo stick… and somehow turn it into a 20 lb dog. That is Lola! She is estimated to be around a year old and looks very much like a pug/boxer mix, though rescue rules absolutely apply and we cannot guarantee either. What we can guarantee is that Lola arrives preloaded with comedy, athleticism, and a level of enthusiasm that rivals a sugared up kid about to get on their first carnival ride. Go watch Lola on YouTube, then come right back to read more about this zoomie-powered party goblin. https://youtu.be/Lmiv_G04_1w Lola is wildly entertaining and genuinely a very happy dog. She loves fetch with her whole entire being, though we would currently rank her return skills at approximately 97% mastery because once she gets the toy, she can easily forget who threw it and occasionally what the next step is to get someone to throw it again. She absolutely thrives with playful dogs that enjoy chase games, wrestling, and rough-and-tumble antics. She is an absolute toy lover, easily self-entertains, and wakes up every day ready to turn life into recess. Lola would likely thrive with someone who genuinely enjoys training and wants an active sidekick to pour into. Think adventure buddy, hiking pal, training class enthusiast, enrichment queen, “let’s work your brain and body” kind of home. She is the kind of dog that will be incredibly rewarding in the right hands. She handles environmental stressors well, recovers quickly, and remains social and confident with people always. She is loving, goofy, resilient, and very game for whatever comes next. Lola’s dream home includes an equally playful dog who enjoys chase, shares toys, and enjoys the occasional playful wrestling match. This dream home will be cat-free and she would like to pass on apartment living, the girl wants room to run! More than one playmate is welcome as long as they are sturdy, playful dogs over 25 lbs that enjoy physical play, have good tolerance levels, and know how to take breaks. Because Lola is young and driven she will benefit from a structured home committed to helping her learn how to “dog-well.” She is learning how to settle in the home and will need encouragement to slow her busy brain down in exciting environments. The encouraging part is that she responds well to guidance and is very responsive to appropriate corrections. We love Lola! From her mini-boxer look to that pug-like tail, she is one-of-a-kind gal ready and waiting for her forever! Ready to make the first move? Story
Hi! I’m Baby Ray — a cute, sweet, and slightly chaotic little guy looking for my forever home! I’m currently about 15 lbs and will most likely be around 25 lbs full grown, which makes me the perfect medium-sized adventure buddy. My favorite hobbies include collecting sticks like tiny treasures, lovingly destroying stuffies, and showing off my Olympic-level zoomies in the yard. Seriously… I’m FAST. Blink and you might miss me! I’m playful, goofy, and always ready to make you laugh. After I’m done zooming around, I’m happy to hang out and soak up all the love and attention I can get. I’ve already started crate training and I’m doing really well with potty training too — pretty impressive for a puppy if you ask me! ⭐ If you’re looking for a fun, happy, slightly silly best friend, I’m your boy! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Bandit, a handsome young pug with an adventurous streak and a heart full of love! Born around May 14, 2024, this sweet 18.4-pound boy was found exploring a local subdivision, charming multiple neighbors along the way. While everyone wanted to help the little runaway, Bandit proved himself to be quite the escape artist, cleverly digging out of various yards in his determined quest to find the action! Bandit is a true social butterfly. His main goal in life is to be right where the people are. When he gets loose, he doesn't run away; he rushes towards companionship! He is looking for a secure yard and a family who will give him plenty of attention and keep him close by, satisfying his deep desire to be part of the pack. Bandit has been fully vetted and is now receiving treatment for anaplasmosis, a common tick-borne disease discovered during his initial exam. He is doing great and just needs to complete his 30-day course of medication. He's on the mend and ready for his fresh start. This resilient, people-loving pug is eager to trade his days of solo adventures for a lifetime of cozy cuddles and family fun. If you’re looking for a loyal, friendly companion who promises to keep you entertained and loved, Bandit is eagerly waiting to steal your heart! You can apply for Bandit at www.adoggie4you.org.  His adoption fee is $350.  This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $250. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.
