Story
Name: Franklin Nicknames: Big Goon. Stinky Boy. Breed: French Bulldog mix Age: ~2 years Weight: 36 lbs. Before OMD: Found as a stray and did his hold at the city shelter. We were able to bring Franklin into rescue when a foster opened up his home. Energy level: Medium. Loves to play, but will also cuddle up through any binge-worthy series…or commercial, really. Key descriptors: Happy. Affectionate. Friendly. Stubborn. Gorgeous. What we love most: His giant head and beautiful coat. The way his bottom teeth stick out. How you just look at him and his nub starts wagging. His love for every person he has ever met. The way he often rolls on his back – gator style. What he loves most: Toys. Treats. Nylabones. Cuddling with his human. Car rides. Going for walks. You should know: If you are a multi-dog household, he is not the boy for you. He prefers to be the only fur-buddy and does not want to compete for affection or share his space. He also has opinions and is vocal about being alone and being crated, so apartment/condo living isn’t ideal. What he knows: hmmmm…well he DOES know how to win you heart (so there’s that!) but other than that….sit. Working on: Jumping. Pulling on leash. Mouthing. Reactivity on leash to other dogs. Life goal: To be the receiver of all pets and treats. Dogs: Nope. See above. Cats: Nope. Kids: Older kids only please, as he has not met or socialized with any kids since being in rescue. House-trained: Yes! He has had very few accidents and is a pro if kept on a schedule. Crate-trained: Ehhh…he dislikes his crate and will loudly let you know. Franklin is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He is available for adoption to residents of IL, CT and surrounding states. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an application from omdrescue.org.

Story
This cute fella is a year old French Bulldog/ Boston Terrier mix. Don’t ask me what his story is…. I don’t know except to say he was surrendered by his owner to a shelter in west TN. I was told he could have an attitude but I didn’t know if it was with people or dogs or what. After introducing to him to around 15 dogs of all sizes, I can comfortably say his attitude problem is not with other dogs. He seems to love ladies and is very affectionate but so far is somewhat leery of men.Adoption Fee: LOCAL=$300 Transport to Great Lakes & New England areas=$600Adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Story
This smudgy little girl is WILLOW.  She also has 2 sisters available for adoption, SAGE & VIOLET.  They all 3 have different looks and personalities.  Their personalities have just started to develop but at 8 weeks old they are still young enough to train and mold into a great family pet. Currently they are sharing a play pen with a different set of puppies but they long to get out and play with the bigger dogs.  The puppies should get to be about 30 pounds as adults.  Their parents are medium size stocky and muscular dogs with very good temperaments. You are welcome to meet them anytime if you are local, if you are out of state, we will provide a video so you can see them in action.  These are funny and cute little puppies who would really love their own home. If you are interested in adopting one of them, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         September 20, 2023, 8:15 am

Story
This fun boy was part of a forced surrender group but he shows no mean signs of his neglect. He is friendly and a lot of fun. He loves to play!! Definite terrier energy and a great boy to hang around with. He loves people and other dogs, although his barking to get others to play with him does tend to have the opposite effect. He is not mean and does well sharing. He likes any sort of toy but does have a short attention span with them. He would do well with any type of household but will need the basic training of being inside, we don’t think he was inside at all. He does spill his food out and will chew any bed given to him, it will take some time for him to get used to any of that. A house with kids that like to run and play would work great with him or any active family that can wear him out. He is a love and is waiting to share it all with a new family to call his own. We also use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

Story
This girl was found at an auto shop, hence her name. She is very friendly and playful. She is around other dogs her age and does well. She likes to be in charge so she would do best in a home with calmer, submissive dogs. She will need puppy training as we aren’t sure if she has had any. She likes toys and loves to show them off to people! She is good around kids but is excitable so will need to learn how to be around little ones. She is learning how to be on a leash and does okay in a kennel. She’s just an active girl who needs an active family to keep her busy. She is just looking for fun times and a family to share them with her. She is being fostered in TN but we do transport using the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. We transport every weekend alternating between the Northeast and the Midwest.
