Story
When I was found wandering in a neighborhood, I had a stinky situation ;( Apparently whoever had me, didn't know what to do for my "stinky situation" and let me go :( So, I had a prolapsed rectum likely due to either genetics or a food allergy, and lots of diarrhea.. however, the rescuers sent me STRAIGHT to the vet and my corrective surgery was performed!! Now it had taken me about 6 weeks to be more normal in the poop department but my new fosters has kept me on the hydrolyzed protein food and not too much to eat all the time... as a frenchie i will eat WHATEVER you give me and MORE, so to keep my girlish figure and to prevent excess poop... and I am in the "all better" department now!! I had a "colonplasty" which is a corrective surgery and should be ALL I need. Now to the FUN part!! I am all frenchie :) Cute, smart, playful, loving and kind of goofy too. I am great with everyone i meet and I LOVE to meet new people and friends. I want a really nice family who will take great care of me, with a friend or two? I am waiting and you are looking, lets meet and be together furever!! Local adoption fee is $500 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $750, includes transport to your area)

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Roxie Rose is a 3 year old female Frenchie that is overweight at 24 pounds because someone really spoiled her with human food in her previous home.  She needs to lose about 5 pounds.  But she is a very happy girl and she simply adores being around people.  For sure she is a velcro dog, she follows you everywhere especially the kitchen in hopes of you dropping some food for her. Roxie Rose had a home but they could not provide the care she needed for dog wounds, a cherry eye and a hematoma in her right ear.  All of her medical needs have been addressed and she does not need any medications or medical attention now.  She is still healing from her cherry eye surgery and has a follow up appointment on Wednessday, November 20.  She can go to her new home after her vet appointment. We are taking applications for her now.  If you are interested in adopting Roxie Rose, please submit an application on the website below. Oh yeah, if you want a dog to walk with you Roxie Rose is not that girl, she will walk just a few steps and stop to be picked up.  She walks great on a leash while she has her harness on but she is not a fan of exercise!!  She does like to watch TV, she really pays attention to the shows. These pictures are of her before her surgery and the day of her surgery.  We will get more pictures of her.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         November 17, 2024, 12:44 pm

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Welcome Roxie Rose, a 2 year old blonde Frenchie who needs some love and care. Seems like Roxie Rose has been attacked by some dogs that left her body with several bite marks at her ears and face. One ear had a hematoma and she had a cherry eye. Both were removed during surgery yesterday. We would like to thank Dr. Evans for taking her in so quickly and doing a wonderful job. Roxie Rose is approximately 2 1/2 years old and weighs 24 pounds which we believe that some of her weight comes from human food. Right now she is trying to out wait her foster mom to give her human food and refuses to eat the dry kibble but she will get the hang of it.  I will post new pictures once she has healed a bit next week.  We anticipate that Roxie Rose will be cleared to go to her new home in 2 weeks without any further medical needs.  She may even lose a few pounds without so much human food!   She is just a very spoiled, normal dog who loves to sleep with you and follow you all over the house. These pictures are before her surgery and right after she woke up. Story
Need a smile? Meet Bella! Bella is the life of the party, the belle of the ball. She is ready for anything and will wiggle her way right into your heart. When I say wiggle, I mean literally. She is a little wiggle worm, a happy dancer, a big kisser and just LOVES attention. Bella brings smiles, and many giggles, to everyone she meets. You can't help but smile while in her presence. She's one of a kind, this Bella girl, one that's sure to make her new family very happy. Bella walks well on leash and when she finds a patch of grass, her favorite thing to do is to roll and roll. And she's a fast little roller. If you sit down in the grass with her, she'll roll her way all the way around you. LOL. She's certainly a funny little character. Bella is estimated to be around 2 years old, weighs 28 lbs, is up to date with vaccinations, is spayed and micro-chipped. She was cautiously curious about our resident cat we introduced her to but kept a respectful distance. She also did well with the bigger dogs we introduced her to - at first was curious, bouncy and playful and then calmed down quickly while the two of them explored their surroundings together off leash. If interested in this very loving girl, please email adoptions@smilingdogfarms.org for an application. Please note we are always in need of foster homes for our dogs, including Bella. If interested in making a difference in a dog's life, we would love to share with you what it means to be a foster parent. Foster homes greatly increase the chances of speedier adoptions and you'd be making a huge, positive difference in the life of an animal who needs you.
