Story
Pearl is a true gem. She offers the best of both worlds. A quiet, gentle, snuggle buddy as well as a playful and energetic comedian while off leash in the yard. She really likes human attention, is a master lover of belly rubs and has done well mingling and frolicking about with other dogs her size in our play yard. She likes to scratch her back in the grass and is always up for a good belly rub. Pearl was rescued in sad shape. She had clearly been neglected and alone for some time. Starving and scared, we took her in and gave her the time she needed to recover and decompress in a loving, nurturing environment where she received all the care she needed. We are thrilled to announce she is ready for her forever home! She'll make for a great lap dog for someone longing to have the quiet, unconditional companionship of a new four-legged best friend. She would thrive in a home where she can be given the love and attention she craves. She likes to socialize with people, is always up for a good pet and if you're willing to give her a belly rub, she'll be your friend forever. Pearl is estimated to be around 7 years old, weighs 28 lbs., is spayed, up to date with vaccinations and micro-chipped. If interested, please email us for an application at adoptions@smilingdogfarms.org Please note, if you’re not ready to adopt but would consider fostering Pearl, we would love to share with your what that means and how much of a positive difference you’d be making in a life of a dog that needs you.

Story
What’s up? Tupac here… yes, THE Tupac. I’ve got big feelings, big opinions, and absolutely zero interest in being told what to do just because you “said so.” Let’s get one thing straight—I’m not your average go-with-the-flow kinda dog. I’m more of a “respect my boundaries and we’ll be cool” type. I’ve got dominant energy, a little anxiety, and a personal belief that authority is often… negotiable. I’d really prefer to be your one and only. I can live with other dogs and even cats, but if things don’t go my way? Let’s just say…I will pick fights. For everyone’s peace, single-dog status is my best life. The good news? I’m basically a gentleman in many important ways: Potty trained? Obviously. Kennel trained? Like a pro. Leash walks? Nailed it. Car rides? Shotgun superstar. Baths? I suppose I’ll allow it. Storms? Please, I laugh in thunder. Taking meds? Easy work. I do great with older kids too (teenagers are my people), and I’ve got a playful side—give me toys, and I’m ready to party. Now… my list of non-negotiables: Food aggression? Yep, keep your hands to yourself at mealtime. Vacuum and mop? Absolutely not. Those are clearly evil, and I request protective custody in my kennel until the danger has passed. What I need is a savvy human with patience, humor, and enough confidence to handle a dog who occasionally acts like he pays the bills. So if you’ve been searching for a hilarious, dramatic, toy-loving, leash-walking, storm-proof legend with main-character energy… congratulations. You found me. Local adoption fee is $500(in TX)

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bonjour! I’m Jacque — a French Bulldog with a big heart and a soft spot for naps. I was born on October 15, 2024, and I’m just starting to discover how fun life can be. I came here with my brother after our previous owner realized they couldn’t care for us financially. When we arrived, we both had some pretty rough skin issues, including hair loss and fleas. But don’t worry—I’m already on the road to feeling much better and getting healthier every day! I’m a very sweet boy, and I’m learning what love, playtime, and affection are all about. It’s all still a little new to me, but I like it… a lot. Frenchies like me are usually playful, silly, and full of energy—and I’m sure that side of me will come out more and more as I gain confidence. Right now, my absolute favorite thing to do is curl up on my doggy couch and take a good nap. It’s kind of my specialty. I’m neutered, vaccinated, current on ProHeart 12, protected with Bravecto, and I tested negative on my 4DX—so I’m all set to find my forever home! My adoption fee is $500. If you’re ready to welcome me into your life, you can apply at www.adoggie4you.org . I’m currently in Texas, but I can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, or along the East Coast. If I need a ride, there’s an additional $250 transport fee. (I can’t travel to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to regulations.)Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 7, 2026, 4:59 pm

Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!    Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.   Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.    The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.   It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:   Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family  Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions  70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer  Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!   Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? Story
If you’ve been searching high and low to adopt the most adorable, super sweet, snuggly, silly, grunting little meatball of a frenchie, you’ll fall head over heels in love with Kali! Kali was purchased as a pup and was raised by a family who cared for her very much but just didn’t have the resources to give her a stable life. After moving around several times and ending up somewhere where dogs weren’t allowed, they reached out sadly and asked for help. They just wanted to ensure this girl would find herself a wonderfully loving, stable home that they just couldn’t provide. Kali is a muscly, solid, perfectly glorious 19 lbs! She’s a healthy and thriving 6 years young, and she’s just had all of her medical work completed! Shes now current on vaccines, deworming, microchipping, heartworm testing, preventative, and she’s now spayed! She’s a happy and healthy girl and is officially ready for adoption! In her foster home she’s swiftly adjusted! She went through a few days of mourning the loss of her family, but she’s loving her foster home! She is having a blast playing with the pups in her foster home, as well as playing with lots of toys! She’s so much fun, tossing toys and stuffies up in the air and catching them! She grunts like a tiny piglet and it’s just the cutest thing! Kali has reliably gone potty outside and has excellent house manners. She’s got a very stable, well adjusted temperament as she’s had a life of excellent socialization. She’s wonderful in the car and when you take her out anywhere! She’s got a great energy balance, happy to play and be silly and join you on little adventures, but she’s also a complete cuddlebug! Ready to snuggle up on the sofa and sleep with you in bed through the night! Kali is an absolute character who will fill your home with so much joy and love, and fantastic companionship. If this beautiful brindle mushy little girl is your dream dog, and you’d love to welcome her to your home, please visit www.greatdivideanimalrescue.org and submit an application for adoption today!! **NOTE** to ensure prompt response- please go directly to our website (www.greatdivideanimalrescue.org) to apply, or email (inquiries.rescuematch@aol.com) directly with any questions to ensure your inquiry/application is received by our organization. Story
Bailey’s journey began quietly in a small neighborhood, where she appeared alone and uncertain. She was taken in to keep her safe while every effort was made to find where she belonged. She was shared widely through local lost-and-found groups and scanned for a microchip, but despite many people trying to help, no owner ever came forward.   In the time since, Bailey has had the chance to settle into the comfort of a home for the first time in what is likely a long while. Slowly, you could see her soften—learning that she was safe, that gentle hands could be trusted, and that she didn’t have to figure everything out on her own anymore. She has truly begun to bloom.   Bailey is about 1½ years old, spayed, and fully up to date on her vaccines. She is a deeply affectionate, tender-hearted dog who forms strong bonds with her people. Her greatest joy is simply being close—curled up beside you, resting her head near you, or quietly asking for more time together. With children, she is especially gentle and sweet, as if she understands how to be careful with something precious.   She is crate trained and house trained, and she settles nicely into a home routine. Bailey doesn’t ask for much beyond companionship and reassurance that she belongs.   Because of her history and the way she connects so closely to her person, Bailey can become protective of her people and her valued resources like food and toys. For that reason, she will do best as the only pet in a calm, stable home where she doesn’t have to share her emotional space or feel uncertain. With consistency, kindness, and clear guidance, she thrives and becomes even more confident in who she is.   At her core, Bailey is a dog who loves deeply and quietly, with her whole heart. She is loyal in a way that feels personal, like she has been waiting for someone to choose her and mean it forever. For the right person or family, Bailey won’t just be a pet—she will be a steady shadow, a gentle presence, and a companion who finally gets to exhale and stay.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 9, 2026, 9:37 pm
