Story
Loving 6-Year-Old French Bulldog Looking for a New Home A sweet male 6-year-old French Bulldog, fawn colored and adorable black face. Neutered, weighs about 28 pounds, and a wonderful companion inside the home. He’s affectionate loves to cuddle, sleep nearby (or right on you if you let him!), and is very comfortable relaxing in his crate when needed. Typical of his breed, he doesn’t require a ton of exercise but does enjoy nice daily walks. He loves people and is very friendly with everyone he meets. He does have some leash reactivity around other dogs and needs to be managed carefully when out on walks. He would do best as the only dog in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention. We are empty nesters now and traveling frequently, We feel he deserves a more consistent home life filled with the attention and companionship he thrives on. He comes with his crate, favorite toys, and all up to date vet records. We would love to find the perfect match for him.

This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.)   To adopt or learn more about this dog, you must complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com.   PLEASE READ:     •    If a dog or puppy is listed, they are currently available for adoption. However, they may already be pending an adoption, and their profile may not yet reflect this.     •    All information is accurate to the best of our knowledge as of the posting date.     •    Unless explicitly stated, Sandy Paws Rescue does not guarantee the breed of any dog. Breeds listed are educated guesses made by shelter staff, volunteers, or veterinarians. Many of our dogs are mixed breeds, often with pit bull-type genetics, resulting in a wide variety of physical traits and temperaments.   Our dogs come from various situations, such as kill shelters, owner surrenders, or as strays. It is likely both parents were mixed breeds as well.   Sandy Paws Rescue does not have a public shelter in Massachusetts. Our dogs reside in private foster homes or boarding kennels in the South until adopted. Many dogs are spoken for prior to transport or release from state-mandated isolation.   For information on adoption fees, procedures, or FAQs, visit our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com.   The FIRST step in adopting from Sandy Paws Rescue is to submit a completed adoption application.   ##2367304##

Story
Meet Honey – Your Regal, Ball-Loving, Blanket-Burrowing Queen! 👑🐾 Honey isn’t just a dog—she’s a full-on personality. This fabulous girl is looking for a home with someone who gets her, preferably an experienced handler who appreciates a dog with a bit of sass and a lot of opinions. She’s obsessed with toys, especially balls, and she takes her playtime very seriously—like, “I might defend this toy with my life” seriously. Because of her strong personality and resource-guarding tendencies, she’s best suited for an adult-only home where people respect her boundaries (translation: don’t try to take her toy unless you have a trade deal worthy of a diplomat). Honey is an adventure-loving, nosy little explorer who will absolutely climb on whatever she can to satisfy her curiosity. She enjoys walks—unless it’s snowing or raining, in which case, no thank you. She’s mostly house-trained as long as you stay on schedule. And while she got along with her foster’s dog and two cats, she did have a little too much fun chasing the cats (not out of aggression, just… enthusiasm). Although Honey gets along great with other dogs in her home, she does have a tendency to guard her people from other dogs. Because of this, she’d probably thrive best as the only dog in the household—where she can be your one and only queen, as she clearly believes is her destiny. Her quirks aside, Honey is a total lovebug once she trusts you. She's a master snuggler who lives for cuddles and will happily burrow under the blankets with you at night. But if you’re not into that? No problem—she’ll graciously settle into her own bed. Oh, and one of her absolute favorite activities? Rolling down hills. Yes, really. Grass, rugs, the road—she’s rolling. If you’re looking for a dog with personality, a little sass, and a whole lot of love, Honey might just be your perfect match. Ready to win over a queen? 👑💕 If you are interested in finding out more about Honey, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Honey is being fostered in Millbury, MA. The adoption fee is $500. Like Broken Tail Rescue on Facebook!. Follow Broken Tail Rescue on Instagram! Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.

Story
Meet Missy!   Missy is a sweet, laid-back French Bulldog who’s ready for a fresh start after spending her earlier years being used for breeding. Recently rescued from a rural shelter in central Texas, she’s now enjoying the comfort and care of a foster home—and she’s loving it.   Missy is friendly with dogs of all sizes and does well with cats too. While she hasn’t been tested with small children, she has a gentle nature and a calm demeanor. She currently uses potty pads and is working on her potty training, making steady progress each day.   This adult girl is looking for a home that understands the needs of her breed and can offer the patience and love she deserves. Missy has so much affection to give and would thrive in a peaceful home where she can relax, be spoiled, and enjoy life as a cherished companion.   If you have a soft spot for Frenchies and a heart for rescue, Missy may be your perfect match—apply today!   This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered.
