Story
Meet Garfunkel! This adorable 2 to 4 year-old Teddy Bear French Bulldog is all vetted and ready to go to her new home. She is so stinking adorable with that bottom under bite. She’s a French bulldog, but with longer terrier type hair and her coloring is like a Yorkie. We’re not sure if she’s a Frenchie mix or a purebred Frenchie Teddy Bear, but either way, she’s adorable! She is completely vetted, including spay, microchip, rabies, flea and tick, deworming, negative heartworm, Snap test, etc. Garfunkel is house trained. She is good with other dogs and well behaved, but she has that typical Frenchie bulldog wiggly high energy personality. She is approximately 22 pounds. We think she would be fine with children, but not little toddlers because of her energy. She may intimidate or possibly knock them over. Cats unknown. Please visit our website at https://sites.google.com/view/muddymoosemutts/home or email pawrescued2016@gmail.com for an application. His adoption fee is $625.

Story
Now, you can look at me and KNOW that I am special!! Physically I am special and emotionally I am SPECIAL TOO ) I love everyone AND I am great with dogs/cats and pigs!! Can you believe it?? Now, I am a great boy, 3 yrs old and a little underweight but that is ok :) I have had a rough three years... my family got me when i was a baby and little did they know that the "breeder" was not honest with them about my health issues.... I have a "redundant esophagus" which basically means I either have a sliding hiatal hernia OR a pouch created by fold in the esophagus... each term means I have had the propensity to eat and vomit. SO, luckily I have had all the diagnostics needed to assess and the plan for my eating and post eating is simple!! I get one pill about 30 minutes before I eat and then I sit quietly for 15-30 min after I eat. My diet is softened dry food and canned food with water to make mushy :) I am looking for the BEST home!! Everyone who meets me falls in love...I am kind of like a gargoyle :) My eyes look both ways and I am a low to the ground silly boy. I am such a good boy, you wlll be lucky to love me for life!! I am waiting for you!!! Local adoption only $350 (in TX only)

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Ash, a stunning "fluffy" French Bulldog with a heart as big as his personality! Born in June 2024, Ash is a young, energetic boy weighing in at a sturdy 28.8 pounds. Ash is the ultimate social butterfly. He was originally surrendered to the rescue after his family moved. They originally left him with his grandparents, but they had their own dogs and it became overwhelming for the family. Despite the change, Ash has remained incredibly friendly, happy, and resilient. Why you’ll love Ash: • Social & Friendly: He loves meeting new people and making friends. • House Trained: He’s already mastered his indoor manners. • Playful: Whether it's a game of fetch or a romp in the yard, Ash is always up for fun. Because French Bulldogs are highly sought after, Ash has a specialty adoption fee of $750. By adopting Ash, you aren’t just bringing home a best friend—you are also becoming a hero for other dogs in need. His fee directly subsidizes the medical costs for less adoptable dogs in our care who require extra veterinary attention. Ash is fully vetted. He has been neutered, microchipped, received his Bordetella, Distemper/Parvo/Lepto and rabies vaccines. He received a Snap 4 Test where he was negative for Anaplasmosis, Ehrlichiosis, Heartworm and Lyme Disease. He was given a Proheart 12 for a full years heartworm protection and he is on Bravecto for flea and tick protection until 04/1/26. Ready to add some fluff to your life? You can submit an application for Ash via the A Doggie 4 You website today! This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.                 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 2, 2026, 1:16 am

Story
Smokey Sassy is a soft-hearted sweetheart with a gentle soul. At just three years old, she’s still learning to trust the world around her and is looking for a home where she can blossom at her own pace. Shy by nature, Smokey will need a patient and understanding family who can give her the time and space she needs to feel safe and secure. Once she’s comfortable, Smokey will happily curl up beside you on the couch, ready to share quiet moments and your favorite TV shows. She thrives in calm, peaceful environments and would do best in a home with a single person or older adults who understand her need for a slow and steady approach. Take a look at her in action here then come back to read more- https://youtu.be/klJifujey0Y Smokey is cat friendly and currently lives with 2 cats and a large dog. Having a dog companion in the home is highly recommended to help her feel more confident. We think she will do best with a male doggy friend to keep the energy balanced. A fenced yard would be the cherry on top, giving her the freedom to explore at her own pace without pressure. What she wants most is a home filled with love—and the occasional gentle affection. Are you the one to help Smokey Sassy shine? Application: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6884013c32b22fdb6306e864 Questions? Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!    Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.   Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.    The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.   It doesn’t stop there!
