Francis is a gentle, squishy girl with a big heart and a resilient spirit. She’s been through more medically than most dogs ever should, and because of that, she’ll have some lifelong needs—but she faces it all with grace, humor, and an impressive dedication to being cozy. Francis has had major surgeries and still has a few ahead of her. Due to her past, she experiences some bladder control challenges and may have limited hearing after her remaining procedures. Her medical care will be fully covered by Chain of Hope during her foster period. What Francis does bring to the table is pure sweetness. She’s affectionate, goofy, and thrives on calm companionship. Her ideal home is a laid-back family who enjoys naps, soft beds, and treating her like the queen she truly is. She’ll happily play the role of your squishy little shadow—and yes, she absolutely resembles a perfectly buttered roll Francis is currently searching for a forever foster-to-adopt home where she can continue healing, resting, and being loved exactly as she is.

Hi, my name is Jo. Foster mom says that I am very sweet. When I first came to live with foster mom, I had some accidents in the house. I now know to go to the door when I need to go potty, most of the time. That is pretty good for only three weeks time. My favorite thing is wandering in the backyard and lying in the sun. I didn't like the couch at first but now I sleep next to foster mom every day. Foster mom says that I am one of the really good ones!!!!
