Meet Dumplin 💕 — A Little Dog With a Big Heart Some dogs come into rescue with stories that break your heart. Dumplin’s story is one of those stories—but thankfully, it doesn’t end there. For an entire year, this tiny Frenchie/Bully mix was abandoned in a backyard, left to fend for herself with nothing but the kindness of neighbors who made sure she had food and water. A whole year of wondering where her people were. A whole year of waiting. And somehow, through it all, Dumplin never stopped believing in people. Today, at just 1.5 years old, Dumplin is a sweet, silly, pocket-sized bundle of love who absolutely adores her people. After being left behind for so long, she wants nothing more than to be near the humans she loves. She wants to follow you, hang out with you, be part of your day, and soak up every bit of affection you’re willing to give. She is the kind of dog who reminds you just how incredible a dog’s capacity to love can be. Dumplin is also wonderfully goofy and playful. She may be tiny, but she has a big personality packed into that little body! She’s good with other dogs and enjoys canine company. She’s aloof with cats, more likely to mind her own business than obsess over them. She’s also good with children, though her enthusiastic, rowdy play style may be a bit much for very small children. Older kids or children who are comfortable around energetic dogs would likely be a better match. After everything she’s been through, Dumplin deserves a family who will show her what it truly means to be loved, safe, and wanted. She spent far too long waiting for someone to care about her. Now she’s ready for the forever home where she’ll never have to wonder again. Dumplin is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and on preventatives.
