FOHA DOGS NEED YOU!!! Friends of Homeless Animals saves many dogs, sadly some are un-adoptable due to health or temperament. These dogs are safe in fostercare and will live out their lives safe and loved.   Please see all of our needy dogs & their stories at:  http://fohari.org/virtual-adoptions/#sthash.uUZaHnal.dpbs    Click on the donate button to make a donation below or on our website: WWW.FOHARI.ORG https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_flow&SESSION=s_rzfxkrOz1k3UQ9SnF41ng9fiePbbcNM3-FRwhi8bjTdXc8YpJ1GEGHPGe&dispatch=5885d80a13c0db1f8e263663d3faee8d333dc9aadeed3fe0b5b299d55fd35542Our adoption application can be found here: https://fohari.org/application/  Our Adoption Process:   Go to our website and select the animal you are interested in. ALL animals are in foster homes as we do NOT have a  shelter where you can visit. Some animals are in foster care in New England, and some are located in other states. If the initials following the animals name are a state, then that is the state where the animal is located. If initials are not a state, then those are the initials of the foster home outside of New England and you will not be able to meet the animal ahead of time. Complete our online application You will be contacted by phone or email by the foster parent  or a member of our adoption team and will have the opportunity to find out more about the animal, and ask any questions that you have to ensure the animal is a good fit for your household. If the animal is local, you can meet the animal, but you would not be able to take the dog home until you are approved to adopt.  From our end, we will check references and schedule a home visit.  If you live in an apartment, or a condo, we will need to verify permission to own the animal from your landlord or condo board. Please let your vet’s office and references know we will be contacting them. If your  references are positive, we will schedule a home visit by a volunteer. Please try to accommodate the home visit volunteer as most  have busy schedules. Delays in the visit will result in a delay in the adoption. Once you are approved, you will receive an e-mail with your  adoption contract attached. This e-mail will have details about pick up, the balance of the adoption fee that is owed, etc. Please email your signed & witnessed contract and pay your adoption fee in full, and for any animals located out of state, you will be contacted for details about transport to New England. Once you have paid your adoption fee in full and sent back your contract, you can make arrangement to pick up your animal from the foster home or from transport depending on where the animal is located. Please bring a harness, collar, ID tag and leash when you are picking up the dog unless otherwise instructed by the foster parent. Our extensive approval process is intended to ensure the best fit between our animals and adopters. Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA) reserves the right to deny any adoption application with or without disclosure of cause. Your adoption fee helps to cover the cost of all age appropriate vetting and transportation. FOHARI.ORG makes no explicit or implicit guarantees in reference to the health, temperament and/or the breed of the animal. The animal is adopted ‘as is’, and the adopter assumes all responsibility for treatment of any and all existing conditions or any other conditions of physical or temperament changes that may occur. FOHARI.ORG will provide the animal with the basic vaccines, heart worm test and sterilization of dogs and cats before adoption if the age and current health of the animal permits. While FOHARI.ORG makes every effort to place only healthy animals, FOHARI.ORG cannot guarantee the health of any animal, and shall not be held responsible for any medical expenses that may be incurred. Rescuer will provide information received from the veterinarian exam, observations on the temperament of the animal and a best guess of the breed. Friends of Homeless Animals Inc. Story
Meet Tres Leches! Tres Leches is as sweet as the dessert she is named after. She loves meeting new people and she believes there's no limit to the number of best friends a dog is allowed. Tres is playful and can often be seen sprinting about the yard with her short stubby legs, chasing toys and playing never ending games of fetch. Through she hasn't had much experience with other dogs, she has met several while at PARL and tends to be friendly, playful, and tolerant. Tres does have chronic allergies that can cause rashes and itchy skin. Due to this, it is important that she remains on her special hypoallergenic diet, supportive medication, and regular as-needed vet care. Tres Leches tends to have flare ups in more rural environments, so we believe she would do best in a home based in the city. Tres Leches hasn't been spayed yet, she is scheduled for her spay surgery in a couple of weeks. Until then, she is able to go to a foster to adopt home. Tres's foster should be prepared to remain in contact with PARL's clinic team during the few weeks before her spay. Tres Leches is in our special medical adoption program where we provide fosters and adopters additional counseling to set them and their new pet up for success. If you are interested in her, please complete an adopter’s profile at parl.org and email cshamgochian@parl.org to set up a meet and greet.

Story
Meet Angel! 🐾 This little beauty is a 2-year-old Frenchie/English Bulldog mix with the most gorgeous merle coat — a mix of silver, charcoal, and soft tan patches that make her look like a living work of art. Her big, soulful brown eyes will melt you instantly, and that sweet, squishy face is impossible to resist. Angel is as loving as she looks — she’s snuggly, and always happiest when she’s close to her people. She loves car rides and would make the perfect low-key adventure buddy. She’s got a cute little skip in her step (her doc says it’s just some quirky joints — no surgery needed!) but would do best in a home without too many stairs. Angel is crate trained and doing well with house training. She’s great with kids, cats, and other dogs, and is ready to bring her gentle, happy energy to a family who’ll adore her as much as she’ll adore them. She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready for her forever home! ❤️ RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please go to: saveapreciouspaw@gmail.com
