Say hello to Bowser!!! Bowser is an absolutely perfect Fluffy Frenchie with a bilateral cleft lip. He was a compassionate surrender from the breeder, as he could not nurse at birth. These puppies are usually euthanized, but his breeder chose to work with our rescue and allow us to help him thrive until he could be adopted. Bowser has a bilateral cleft lip, which is only an issue during the nursing stage of life. He was tube fed around the clock until he could eat kibble. Bowser now eats food normally, and can drink water from a bowl without any problems. His defect is only cosmetic at this point, meaning it does not require surgical intervention. Bowser has been hand raised by us, and is an absolutely perfect Fluffy cuddle bug. Being as he is a fluffy Frenchie, his fur is super soft. He prefers to nuzzle up in your neck or the crook of your arm. He is also a very vocal boy. We predict him to be a conversational Frenchie in the future! Please note that we expect a lot of applications for Bowser. We will take our time to find him the perfect home. We are a 501c3 nonprofit that specializes in neonates with congenital defects and advanced medical needs. We have several French Bulldogs with congenital defects that will be available for adoption. Here's what his foster mama has to say about him: He is the bravest, friendliest, smartest, sweetest guy on the planet. You would never know what he is dealing with or what he has been through. He is a curious little fireball with a true heart of gold, to match his now beautiful and golden fawn coat. He loves all creatures, human and otherwise. He learned the dog door within the first 48 hours, and hasn't had an accident in the house since. We've maybe never had a more perfect pup! AND, he's still a frenchie so:Although SUPER cute and so yummy & silly, most of our dogs have come from yucky backyard greeders and so, will 100% need to have owners committed to their unique long-term care, health, and wellbeing. Here are just a couple of things that we need to ensure every French Bulldog adopter understands and is comfortable with. All Frenchies MUST HAVE A FULL-SERVICE vet and at MINIMUM an ANNUAL vet appointment. Big-box store vets or mobile/discount shot services are just not going to cut it. Here's the BIG ONE: thanks to their breeding, ALL Frenchie parents have to be ready to manage and IMMEDIATELY treat an episode of IVDD: IVDD 411 All Frenchie parents must be willing to make the time for daily maintenance and grooming: our Frenchies love their spa time and need (at minimum) all of those folds and crevices cleaned that make them so dang cute. It's a sign of your commitment and care. Bulldog adopters have to be willing to administer eye drops; all those folds make for grumpy eyelids. Last but not least, all lucky bulldog parents should expect to manage the ongoing cost of all the goodies associated with loving a bulldog: including but not limited to: high-quality food, eye drops, medicated shampoo, monthly heartworm prevention, fun toys, vet care, and endless scritches and cuddles (This last one is free) PHEW - that's a list, but these guys are so worth it. Your commitment will be rewarded with the love and joy these Frenchies bring into your life. Once you go Bulldog, there's no going back to 'regular' dogs! Logan is the super-handsome superhero everyone has been waiting for, and he may be too good to be true. Let's just list his perks: He's perfectly potty trained He's a total lover and will happily keep your sofa warm while you're away. He's so, so, so smart and picks things up quickly Just a little more for this boy: Thanks to his unknown past, Logan is quite timid, so ideally, he will have a low-traffic home with no young kiddos. And, he'd definately prefer to live in a house with a yard to call his own.He doesn't want to go places or see exciting new things.Logan wants to chill at home with his pod, and he really 100% does not NEED to have another dog, and we think he'd be happiest without one TBH. He was never a leash-walker in his past life, so his furever family must be willing to continue the good work that his foster family started and be patient and kind while he gets comfortable with his harness and leash.
