Needs to be only child in the home Dee is a 34 lb. adult female German min PIN with a big heart and a little bit of “give me a minute” energy. It takes her about 24 hours to feel safe, but once she does, she becomes incredibly affectionate, loyal, and connected to her person. She’s smart, treat-motivated, and already knows basic commands like sit and lay down. Dee is high energy, loves to run and play, and would thrive with space to explore. Once she bonds, she’s all in—she gives the best hugs, gently presses her face against yours, and even makes a soft purring sound when she’s happy. She’s always looking for connection and approval. Dee is currently in a foster home. While her foster absolutely adores her. This beautiful girl has been through a lot. She was adopted as a puppy, then returned to the rescue she was adopted from where she lived for the last few years. Now that rescue closed and she is here. We believe she is about 5 years old and German Pinscher mix, she knows a few basic commands, loves hikes and especially her toys. We think she would thrive with an active person or family and as an only dog and in an adult only home or home with teenagers. She does need an experienced adopter to help her live her best life. She is unbelievably sweet and loving once she gets to know you but you will need to earn it. We are asking anyone interested in Holly to plan on spending time with her here at our rescue a few times before she is adopted. We are located in Agua Dulce, Ca.
