Story

This beautiful girl has been through a lot. She was adopted as a puppy, then returned to the rescue she was adopted from where she lived for the last few years. Now that rescue closed and she is here. We believe she is about 5 years old and German Pinscher mix, she knows a few basic commands, loves hikes and especially her toys. We think she would thrive with an active person or family and as an only dog and in an adult only home or home with teenagers. She does need an experienced adopter to help her live her best life. She is unbelievably sweet and loving once she gets to know you but you will need to earn it. We are asking anyone interested in Holly to plan on spending time with her here at our rescue a few times before she is adopted. We are located in Agua Dulce, Ca. We will also be providing free training with our trainer for the right adopter. HI - I'M OTTO! I'm a 1-year-old purebred German Shepherd in need of a foster or forever home. I was rescued from a Southern California shelter in the nick of time. The shelter was full! I have an extremely gentle temperament, and quite honestly, I'm striking, with my cream-colored ruff! I can be a bit shy around strangers/new people at first but I warm up quickly, and am very affectionate with people I know and trust. I would make a great dog for an active single person, a couple or a family with older kids. I weigh about 58 lbs. Please email for an application.
