Story

This beautiful girl has been through a lot. She was adopted as a puppy, then returned to the rescue she was adopted from where she lived for the last few years. Now that rescue closed and she is here. We believe she is about 5 years old and German Pinscher mix, she knows a few basic commands, loves hikes and especially her toys. We think she would thrive with an active person or family and as an only dog and in an adult only home or home with teenagers. She does need an experienced adopter to help her live her best life. She is unbelievably sweet and loving once she gets to know you but you will need to earn it. We are asking anyone interested in Holly to plan on spending time with her here at our rescue a few times before she is adopted. We are located in Agua Dulce, Ca. We will also be providing free training with our trainer for the right adopter. Min pin mixes. 6 yrs, approx 15 lbs, Beckham and Cooper were adopted as puppies and returned to us as adults. They are now 6 yrs old. They were returned because the couple was having a baby. The boys have been with us since and are boarded in a Cagefree facility. After only being with each other for 6 years, we decided to socialize them a little with other dogs. They are happy and doing great. They love to go on long walks and hikes. They are calm dogs who can be playful. They just need a house with a yard and lots of love. They have been together since puppyhood and we would like to try to keep them together. It also makes it easy for a new home transition. Come and meet them!!! DUE TO COVID ADOPTIONS ARE CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE! MEET AND GREETS AVAILABLE. Adoptions are held every SATURDAY from 1PM – 4PM at the PETCO at 8161 BEVERLY BLVD at La Jolla (1/2 mile east of Beverly Center). Plenty of parking! Spanky is a sweet, cuddly min pin mix looking for a loving home willing to give a new lease on life. Spanky is an 11 year old darlin who loves to sit on laps and cuddle on the couch. He loves and craves physical affection, praise and treats. His owner passed away recently and Spanky now needs a new loving home to care for him. Spanky is perfectly fine around cats as he was raised around them. He is house trained but he has been accustomed to a doggy door so he may have continence issues if not given often or ready access to a potty spot. He also has never been separated from his sibling, Pepper and if possible would do best if the two could be adopted together. This is preferred but not a deal breaker! Better she has a loving home than homeless with her litter mate! Spanky is up to date on his shots and has been vetted as otherwise healthy. He is spry and spunky.
