Story
This beautiful girl has been through a lot. She was adopted as a puppy, then returned to the rescue she was adopted from where she lived for the last few years. Now that rescue closed and she is here. We believe she is about 5 years old and German Pinscher mix, she knows a few basic commands, loves hikes and especially her toys. We think she would thrive with an active person or family and as an only dog and in an adult only home or home with teenagers. She does need an experienced adopter to help her live her best life. She is unbelievably sweet and loving once she gets to know you but you will need to earn it. We are asking anyone interested in Holly to plan on spending time with her here at our rescue a few times before she is adopted. We are located in Agua Dulce, Ca. We will also be providing free training with our trainer for the right adopter. You can see so many videos of Holly on our Instagram page which is @thebrittanyfoundation / search / click #brittanysholly Please note: Because we require home checks adoptions are limited to the Los Angeles, Ca area.

Story
Carmal is a sweet 1-year-old Miniature Pinscher–Dachshund mix who was found abandoned at Chumash Park in Agoura Hills alongside his brother. Both dogs were well groomed, leading us to believe they were sadly dumped. They had no collars, tags, or microchips and were not neutered. Thanks to a kind Good Samaritan who refused to look the other way, the brothers were kept safe while every effort was made to locate their family. After posters, shelter visits, and outreach to other rescues led nowhere, we stepped in to help give Carmal the future he deserves. Carmal weighs about 12 pounds and has a gentle, shy nature that truly shines once he’s given a little time to warm up. He’s an enthusiastic and playful boy who loves running around the backyard, playing with toys, and enjoying a happy rhythm of playtime followed by cozy naps—especially with his brother. He does well with other dogs and is crate trained. Carmal loves being near his people and is quite snuggly. He’s gentle, sweet, and affectionate, and happily gives kisses. He’s very trusting with his favorite people and is food-motivated, loving treats without being pushy or protective. While he’s not fully potty trained yet, he’s making progress. He also has a classic “shadow dog” personality and enjoys following his people from room to room. He gets along beautifully with other dogs, does great with kids, and enjoys soaking up both playtime and affection. Now neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, Carmal is ready for a patient, loving home where he can feel safe, cherished, and truly blossom. ----- Looking to Adopt? Submit a Rescue Questionnaire! He is highly food-motivated without being pushy or aggressive. While he’s still working on perfecting his potty training, he’s making steady progress. He’s also great with kids and other dogs.
