Story
Delilah was adopted by my daughter and her family from H.A.S. in May of 2019 and was 4 months old. She started living with me in November of 2019. She is chipped and spayed. She is house-trained and crate-trained. She weighs 75 lbs. She has no aggression. She has not been around cats. She is very prey driven. She loves children, however, she doesn’t realize how big she is or how strong her tail is. She loves people and being around people. She is a very sweet and loving dog. I have a detailed Bio of her that I can email if interested. Delilah has been and is a very loved dog. Reason for rehoming: Financial issues and my schedule has gotten very busy.

Story
Bliss was my grandfathers dog, and sadly he has passed away. She has behavioral problems, and a history of biting. I can only say it's because we didn't get her trained, she did it out of protective instinct, even though that doesn't make it right. She is a very sweet dog when it comes to the people she loves, she was raised alongside our other dog prince, and got along with him, though she had jealousy issues, and is very dominant. She loves prince, and she also liked our cat Bella who she tried to play with everyday. Ever since my grandfather was in the hospital, she has gotten skinnier than I could ever imagine, she also has an eye infection, fleas, and has been biting her fur out of irritation. It breaks my heart to see her like this. It breaks my heart that we can no longer care for her or our other pets. All the other pets have been rehoused. It's just my Blissy left, and no one will take her because of her issues, which I can understand. I don't want money.

Story
My name is Tucker. I am a big, lovable, and goofy puppy. I love nothing more than to get love and cuddles from my human. I also love to play outside. I am crate trained and almost completely potty trained.I would do well in a home with another dog my size. Because I am a big puppy, I wouldn’t be a good fit in a household with small children. Although I love my foster home, I can’t wait to find my furever home. I am neutered, up to date on vaccines and heartworm prevention. Apply at Forrescue.net

(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Darla will be shy and a bit timid at first, but after about 3 days, her charming, fun personality will emerge. She’s the perfect mix of chill and playful. Her German Shepherd line means she’s going to bond with you and her family. She’ll be right there wherever you go in the house. Darla knows some basic commands like sit, shake, sit up, and is pretty good about staying (we’re still working on that one). She is spayed, HW negative and current on required vaccinations and is on flea, tick and heartworm prevention. She really wants to play with the resident dogs, but they are older and not receptive to her. She’s never shown any aggression toward them. She’s curious about the resident cat, but the cat has successfully avoided her, so not sure of her actual face to face reaction. Darla will be a great family dog for those with kids 8 and up. Someone who works from home will be ideal for her. Darla is house-trained, rides well in a car, and will sleep in a crate all night, if the crate is in your bedroom though she is not really a fan of it. She’ll also sleep just fine on a dog bed in your room, and not make a peep. Currently she has been left loose in the house for up to 5 hours without any problems. She loves squeaky toys, though they won’t last long! She also needs tough chew toys. If you’d like to meet Darla, simply fill out a non-binding application at https://forrescue.net or email info@forrescue.net.

Story
Marilyn came to Off The Chain Rescue barely a year old and with 3 puppies. Her pups all were adopted and she has been with us since, some 4 years ago. Part of our "inside" pack, Marilyn has learned good manners. As with any active animal, she needs to burn off excess energy and have her "zoomies" but is otherwise good as part of the family. Marilyn will make a great addition to your household if you are willing to provide her the necessary exercise in a yard or dog park. Why not come meet her and see what a great girl she is?
