Story
MEET CLETUS: A smart boy looking for a quiet life. Are you looking for a dog who is content to be a couch potato during the day but an athlete in the mornings? Meet Cletus (aka Cleetwood Mac)! Cletus is a misunderstood intellectual. He is incredibly smart, potty trained (never had an accident!), and non-destructive in the home. However, Cletus is an introvert. He finds strangers overwhelming and has a strict "no petting" policy until he knows you well. He can be protective of his food and toys, so he needs a home that honors his personal bubble. Why you’ll love him: Once Cletus trusts you, the walls come down. He becomes a loyal, cuddly friend who wants to sleep under the fan near you. He is a foodie who will do anything for a piece of purple sweet potato or a Trader Joe’s treat. He is also a dream to live with—he respects the home and loves his crate. What he needs to thrive: A "Respectful Roommate" vibe: We let Cletus come to us. We don't force affection. A Quiet Kingdom: No children and no other pets. Cletus finds "tiny humans" scary and needs to be the only animal in the house. A Secure Environment: Because of his prey drive for small animals, he cannot be off-leash in unfenced areas. Patience: Cletus may snap if pushed too fast by strangers. He needs an advocate who will tell guests, "Please ignore the dog," so Cletus feels safe. Cletus is a surprisingly easy dog to live with once his routine is set. He is ready to bond with a special person who appreciates a dog with depth.January 19, 2026, 1:28 pm

Raven is adorable! I mean, look at those ears! She is extremely smart and loves to play with other dogs and toys. She will play fetch for hours if you have the energy. She is dog and people friendly. Apparently, she things she is a lap dog. She still does have puppy energy, so she needs regular exercise and stimulation. However, it doesn't take long for her to calm down and relax. She loves to chew on Mylar bones and of course she loves treats! She is a little standoffish at first, but she warms up fairly quickly and will be your best friend. Raven would love an active home with someone who likes to hike, jog or even go to the dog park. Well that, and someone to hang out and chill with after. Meet this cutey today! Please note this dog is NOT an official Underdog dog, and you will be connected with the person who has the dog. Please Contact Kellie, 253-318-3226, Kelliehammer@comcast.net:   MEET SVEN!! Sven was saved from euthanasia in January 2025 and has lived in a kennel for another year. He has a couple of people helping him learn what he can, but the learning is limited and irregular. Sven is a happy, lovable, strong and excited pup looking for a chance and a home. He loves all affection and attention. When he trusts you, he will love belly rubs and crawling in your lap for some extra love. Sven is a bit anxious, frustrated and deteriorating living in a kennel for a year. He is friendly, playful, and loves playing fetch and soccer. He is smart and knows sit, wait, break, ready and down. He could use more consistent practice though. He is also learning how to act around other dogs. Currently he is the only dog, and should not be in a home with small animals. Sven loves to play in kiddie pools, even when it's cold outside. He is really hoping for someone to take a chance on fostering or adopting him, so he can have a happy life in a great home. Meet Sven today! If you are interested in meeting this dog, please visit our website for our online application www.underdogaz.com  PLEASE NOTE: This dog is courtesy posted for another individual or Rescue. Story
I got Loki in October 2020. I already had a german Shepherd and was good with him so l got a second one. My husband and l were excited about our new puppy. Training was going great, he was growing and happy. In February 2021, we opened our home to a foster boy, 11 years old. His background was so intense and he came with so many issues, our attention was fully on him leaving us to stop Loki’s training half way. Our first German Shepherd passed away this past April at 13 years old and we were sad because he was our first family dog. I need help rehoming Loki since he is alone in our home without his brother but our schedule is still so packed with our son’s services and needs and it breaks my heart to re-home him, but l know there is someone out there that wants a good boy and has the capacity to give him the life we just can’t right now.
