Story
I’m a handsome 2-month-old male German Shepherd mix. Carrie On Rescue rescued my mom, Ingrid, and her puppies from the county shelter. We were born on August 14, 2023. Our mom and foster parents have taken very good care of us for the past 2 months and now we are ready to be adopted. Here is a bit more information about me: I’m a very handsome, sweet, loving, playful, active and super smart baby boy. I get along great with everyone I meet: including the dogs and cats in my foster home! I have already started working on house training. I’m looking for a nice family or person where someone is home most of the time to be able to continue my doggie and house training, socialization and who will provide me with lots of love. Since I’m a very active puppy, I will be a great student for doggie obedience classes. While I’m an indoor dog, I also need a home with a large, safely fenced yard to run and play in with my family. I am not suited for apartment/condo/mobile home/town home living. If there are children in the household they must be over the age of 7 years as they have impulse control. I’m neutered, current on my puppy vaccines, dewormed, vet checked and micro chipped. My adoption fee is $400 which helps cover just some of these expenses. Please contact Carrie On Rescue if you have any questions about me or if you would like an application for me at carrieonrescuers@hotmail.com or call them at (480) 603-7680.

Story
Meet Ravi! Ravi is a 7-1/2 year old German Shepherd blend. He is a big, lean boy and weighs around 75 pounds. Ravi has a very gentle and sweet personality. He loves hanging out on the couch, and sleeps on a dog bed next to his foster mom's bed. Ravi uses the dog door and hasn't had any accidents in the house. He loves walks and he does get excited when he meets other dogs. He loves attention from humans and likes to know where everyone in the house is hanging out. Ravi has previously lived with another dog and a cat (as long as the cat doesn't run!), and is currently in a foster home with 2 other dogs. He is an excellent passenger in the car and seems to really enjoy car rides. Ravi loves toys and balls and has chosen a big stuffed fish as his favorite and carries it around everywhere. He listens and follows directions well. He knows sit, stay, come, wait, and will give you his paw. Ravi is gentle taking treats. Ravi is a ""safety first"" kind of boy so he has learned to get in and out of the pool! Ravi is residing in one of our amazing foster homes, and if you would like to schedule an appointment to meet him, please come and see us or email Debbie@AzFriends.org. Ravi is neutered, licensed, current on vaccinations and microchipped. No appointments are necessary and you can come and see us any time we are open. Please go to our website (www.azfriends.org) to fill out a consultation form then come and see us! We do require any family interested in meeting our dogs or cats to fill out a consultation form – this form helps us determine if the dog/cat and the home are a good match, since it is so easy to fall in love with a photo, without knowing the personality of the dog. Once you have filled out the online Adoption Consultation Form, just come in and see us (or come and see us and fill out the consultation form upon arrival)! Please note that ALL dogs and cats are available to the first home that meets the dog or cat that we feel is a good match. In order to help make the best match, we do want all family members (dogs and humans) to meet any potential new family member. Our adoption center hours are: Closed Sunday/Monday; Tuesday 10a-2p, Wednesday 3p-7p, Thursday 3p-7p, Friday 10a-2p, Saturday 10a-4p. We are located at 952 W Melody Avenue in Gilbert (zip code 85233).All animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, licensed (dogs). Cats tested for FELV/FIV. Dogs tested for Heartworm. All animals are available to the first family that is a good match, and if we have more than one animal who is a good match, there will be a lottery for all matches. Note that families must have come in to our adoption center and spoken with an adoption counselor prior to any lottery (when we have lotteries, they usually occur on Saturday mornings).

Story
Lobo is a 6 month old medium sized German Shepherd mix. You will not meet a more lovable or snuggly dog. He can be timid at first, but warms up within mere seconds of meeting you. He has done really well with cats, dogs, and kids. He is a very calm and sweet dog, so ideal for a family worried about a dog around younger children. He loves to give kisses and will stare into your eyes while he lays his head on your lap. He prefers to be with the family, so he would do really well with someone looking for a lapdog type of pup. He has been working hard on his housebreaking habits, and has shown great improvement. He also struggles with a bit of separation anxiety, but he has slowly been working through this and recently learning that his kennel is actually his safe space. His favorite toy is his stuffed duck, and he does well with soft blankets. While most puppies his age might still have challenges with wanting to chew, he is not a chewer and has been a really wonderful houseguest. He is calm on a leash, calm in public when visiting starbucks for a pup cup or for an outdoor patio dining lunch, and loves being outdoors, but is just as content laying at your feet inside. He will engage and play when you initiate, and is gentle with playtime. He also tolerated and was very compliant with being pulled in a wagon, wearing booties, and having his teeth brushed for the first time without giving a fuss! What a good boy!ttps://forms.gle/dmg5AAqnfiQBLAbZA

Story
Rosalie is roughly a year old female who looks like an Aussie/Retriever mix. She is so cute with her brown with grayish face. She would love it if every dog would play with her. She needs lots of exercise and training on staying in your fenced area. Rosalie would be great for someone who loves hiking. She's a big pup and jumps a lot- Might not be best with young children until she's older. She hated being crated or leashed up to be outside (she's a jumper of fences). As long as you're present, she's usually fine on the lead. She sure loves toys- she will need tough types as she doesn't mess around. As long as she gets enough of her energy out daily, the size of your house shouldn't matter. Apply here https://forms.gle/2cQd7SGJvmh6MjYH8

Story
Hi there! My name is Sasha, although I have so many different nicknames, and you'll know why once you get to meet me! I am a special German Shepherd/Malinois mix with a unique disability. My back legs stick out straight! I can move around, walk, and run just fine, I also have no issues using the bathroom on my own. My jumping days are behind me though and I am not afraid to still try. I am looking for a experienced owner not only behaviorally but medically as well. I need to be the only dog in the home and recommended to live with adults only. I would love someone who sees me for the great, active, and maybe a little crazy girl that I am. I can't wait to meet you at Heidi's Village today!
