Leia is a super sweet and loving 7 year old German Shepard and Husky mix. She is really good with kids and other animals. Well behaved and easy to train. She has been my ESA for the past 6 years. I work long weeks and with moving into a small apartment soon I feel it would not be fair for me to keep her. She needs a family with a house and a backyard to run in. She loves to play and is an amazing catcher. I adopted her from a shelter in San Tan Valley 6 years ago. She is up to date on shots and is microchipped.

Story

Kida is a sweet, goofy girl with a full serving of enthusiasm. Her favorite things in life are trying to beat the world record for most kisses given, playing with her toys, and going on adventures. She is our precious baby girl and we are heartbroken to have to rehome her. When we adopted her from the Maricopa County Kennel she was about 10 months old and very skinny and sick. She is about 3 years old now and has blossomed into such a wonderful pup and would make a great addition to any family. Kida is e-collar trained and has graduated from two top-rated training programs. She has all the standard obedience commands down pat. She has learned excellent leash manners and could be a perfect running or hiking buddy. She showed food guarding behavior with long-lasting treats but has improved with training. We want her to go to a home that would love her as much as we do and would be happiest with a calm, firm, and loving owner committed to giving her plenty of exercise and cuddles.

I adopted Ru back in December from Apache Junction Animal Control. She was very shy and timid at first but really opened up and has what I would call puppy energy at the age of 4.5 years old. She is playful and very loving. She knows how to use the doggy door and do a few tricks like sit and shake. You can tell that she loves so fully and wants to play with humans and other dogs once she gets used to them. Though she is such a loving and amazing dog, we have one senior dog that does not like the change this has brought to her life. My 13lb senior dog likes to growl and then go after Ru. It is not a safe situation for either dog or the person responsible for keeping them separated. Ru gets along with our other German Shepherd and little dog.
