Story
Ebby” or “Eb” short for Ebinezer. Eb looks to be a mix of German Shepherd and is neutered, and current on shots. This guy had been in a shelter in for quite a while. Due to lack of foot traffic and adopters we had him transferred here. He is quiet, respects a fence and gets along with all female dogs here at the rescue, males he is selective. He would love to be either an only dog or have a sister. He has a fairly strong prey drive and cannot be around cats, or small dogs. Eb's favorite toy is a squeaky ball that he eagerly anticipates you to throwing. He seems to love all people and older kids (we don't have little kids). He keeps a clean kennel and waits for you to let him out to go potty. He’s going to be up for any adventure that has you in it. Apply to meet and/or adopt him! He’s a good one! Please read our adoption policies BEFORE inquiring to adopt a pet. If you wish to meet a pet shown here, please fill out and application posted on our main Petfinder Page or copy and paste this link. https://forms.gle/dGz75whm2hFT2fej7 You may also submit a letter of introduction via email to angieoneill88@gmail.com describing the home you can provide. Please include such things as if you own or rent and what type of fencing you have. If no fencing include acreage. Also describe other pets and children in the home . PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM folder for replies as they end up there sometimes. Keep in mind, we are two women with full time jobs, we volunteer to run this Rescue and foster these dogs in our homes. We have families and farms of our own we take care of as well. We will give you all the time we can but, ask for your patience and attention to detail to make the application process flow smoothly and as quickly as possible.

He’s a smart, loyal guy who forms strong bonds with his people and takes his job of being your dog very seriously. Once he knows you’re part of his circle, he’s devoted and eager to please. Story
Henny is a stunning 4-year-old German Shepherd mix with a sharp mind and a big personality. He has an impressive ball drive and absolutely loves a good game of fetch. If you have a tennis ball, you’ll have Henny’s full attention! Henny can be nervous around strangers and may take some time to warm up to new people. Once he trusts you, though, he becomes a loyal and engaging companion. He forms strong bonds with his people and enjoys being involved in daily activities. Because of this strong attachment, Henny does experience separation anxiety and will do best in a home that can continue working with him on confidence and independence. Ideal Home: Henny is looking for an experienced dog owner who understands working breeds and is comfortable continuing training and structure. He would do best in a patient home that can give him time to settle in and build trust. A family willing to provide consistent training, exercise, and mental stimulation will see just how special this boy truly is

She has spent most of her life outdoors and absolutely loves being outside where she can explore, play, and enjoy the fresh air. One of Sasha’s favorite things in the world is a good game of stick fetch. Toss a stick and she’ll happily run after it again and again—it’s her favorite way to spend time with her people. Sasha is a sweet, friendly, and loyal girl who bonds closely with her family. She enjoys being around people and has a gentle nature with children, making her a wonderful companion for a family who loves dogs. She’s the kind of dog who will happily stay near her people, whether that’s playing outside, relaxing in the yard, or just keeping you company Sasha would do best with a family who: Enjoys spending time outdoors Has space for her to run and play Wants a loyal companion and family dog A yard and someone who will play fetch with sticks would make Sasha especially happy

Story
Jerry is a 2-year-old German Shepherd who is still very much an puppy in both energy and behavior. While he is affectionate and intelligent, he remains a large, strong, and active young dog who requires consistent structure, ongoing training, and clear leadership. Jerry will need an experienced handler who understands high-drive working breeds and is prepared to invest the time and commitment necessary to help him mature. Continued obedience training, mental stimulation, and regular physical exercise will be essential for his success in a home environment. Due to his temperament and training needs, Jerry must be placed as the only pet in the household. He would do best in a home with someone who has prior experience managing and training dogs of similar size, strength, and working background. With the right guidance, patience, and structure, Jerry has the potential to become a loyal and devoted companion. He is not suited for a first-time dog owner, but in a knowledgeable and committed home, he can thrive.
