Kindness came to us as a stray, so we don’t know much about his past. But during his time with us, we’ve learned something pretty special about him: Kindness really does live up to his name. 🤎 He is one of the sweetest, most sensitive boys you could ever meet. Kindness is gentle and respectful, and he has such a soft, thoughtful personality. He’s the kind of dog who makes you want to slow down, sit beside him, and give him all the love he deserves. 🥹 And this handsome guy has some manners, too! Kindness knows how to sit and shake/give paw, and he’s happy to show off what he knows. 🐾 He also has the cutest little fang that sticks out just enough to give him what looks like a tiny smirky smile — and we have to admit, it makes him even more adorable. 😏🤎 Kindness does have one important preference when it comes to his forever home: he would prefer an adult-only home. He isn’t a fan of being restrained or held in place, so we feel he would be happiest in a home without young children where his boundaries can be respected and he can feel comfortable and secure. He’s a sensitive guy, and giving him the space to make his own choices and approach people on his terms is an important part of helping him feel his best. There’s nothing complicated about Kindness. He’s simply a genuinely sweet boy who enjoys being around people and has so much love to give. While we may not know where he came from, we do know that he deserves a future filled with kindness of his own. His name is Kindness, and honestly, we couldn’t have picked a better one. 🤎🐾

Meet Ladybelle! This sweet adult girl came to the Mission as an owner surrender. She was surrendered with her previous housemate, Thor, and is getting use to life in her foster home with more guidance and structure. Ladybelle has an estimated birthdate of 11/04/2019. Previously, Ladybelle and Thor were allowed to roam on several acres of property, and had some struggles adjusting to indoor life in a smaller space. They are making great progress and seem to be sweet and loving dogs, who will just need ongoing guidance. Ladybelle has lived with other animals and children, and we think she'd do best in a home that's a bit more on the quiet side, with not too many pets in a small space. Ladybelle will come home spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200. Her adoption includes a leash, collar, ID tag, food sample, medical records, and a complimentary consultation with a behaviorist to help both parties ace the new partnership. Hi there! My name is Tigger. Everyone tells me I am the ideal family dog because I am friendly with other dogs, cats, adults, and kids! I enjoy playing but am not overly energetic, I am not destructive, I walk well on a leash, am crate trained, and I know basic commands! I also love playing in the water! My humans think I am about 5 years old and am a German Shepherd mix. I was rescued from a high-kill area in SoCal. I had a family, but for some reason, I ended up very underweight and tied to a post by a vet office. The shelter took me in and got me back up to a healthy weight. I was rescued from the shelter and went on a 24 hour drive from SoCal all the way up to Seattle! My foster family picked me up and drove me from Seattle back to Coeur d'Alene, which is where I currently live. I am hoping a loving family will come forward and want to give me a forever home. I have so much love to give, I just want a forever family.

Meet Neo! A 3 month old male German Shepherd X Great Pyrenees/Border Collie cross. He is an owner surrender when a young man discovered just how much time and effort are required to raise a baby ! Not to mention how much space a dog with this energy level and potential size (I'm guessing 80-100#s as an adult) will require. He has made himself at home here on my farm. He slept thru the night quietly in a crate in our bedroom so is crate comfortable. He has met all the resident dogs and cats here and after a few worried barks, has decided everyone is a friend. Next he met all the free range fowl and was a perfect gentleman. He met the horses and was wary, but respectful. He is very spoiled and needs to learn some basic manners, but is also very smart and responds quickly to corrections for scratching on the door, jumping up on my legs and barking for attention. I think he's a very beautiful, intelligent puppy that will make an excellent family dog on an acreage in a country setting. This is not a city dog prospect. Pyrenees are dubbed the "hundred acre dog" because they will stake out and claim a 100 acre radius for themselves to protect and guard. A perimeter fence or GPS system will need to be in place. Border Collies, of course, are known for being extraordinarily high energy, intelligent and trainable with a strong drive for working. German shepherds are a very large, protective, intelligent breed who require a solid and firm, clear black and white training of boundaries and manners as well as socialization,as youngsters to become the fantastic adult dogs some of them are. This boy goes very German Shepherd in his personality and physical attributes. He's got the border collie coloration and he may have the Great Pyrenees size . Take all of this into consideration bgefore applying for this adorable baby boy.
