Story
Luna is energetic, fun and a good pal to have when you are feeling down. He has been a part of our family for almost 6 years, and we have loved his company. Before we moved out here we had a large yard he loved running around in. He can play fetch for hours. We unfortunately won't be able to keep his due to his needs for frequent excessive and my inability to provide it to him. He deserves a home with a family that will be able to keep up with him, or has the means to provide a large yard so he can run all day long.

Story
-Personality: Athena is a jumpy, mouthy, energetic girl who loves adventures. She responds best to consistent firm corrections. Athena is very protective of the people she trusts. -Best fit: Athena requires an adult-only home, and she would be too much for senior citizens. -Can live with cats: No -Can live near livestock: No small animals. -Can live with dogs: Athena has played with other dogs in the past but has shown signs of resource guarding. A meet and greet is required with any potential fur siblings. -Can't do apartment living: A small apartment wouldn't be the best for this energetic playful girl. She requires a 6ft fence. -Energy level: 4/5 -Things they love: Slow introductions with new people; Athena is protective of her people and might feel threatened when new people come into her home without a proper introduction. -Things they dislike: People and other dogs around her toys or food.

Story
A run or couch cuddles? This girl covers all the bases! Meet Betty White! Betty White is located in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area. (See information below in the Adoption Donation section.) Born in November 2021, Betty White is an athlete in a compact, 45 lb. body. Betty is a free spirit who continually wants to explore and test her limits. Sniff spot outings and agility jumps are a favorite activity for her – and if she has a buddy dog to join her in the adventures, all the better! She’s a happy, playful terrier mix who loves her human and dog companions with the same gusto she exhibits for activity. Betty plays nicely with her foster dog siblings and gets along great with children. She loves to chase, so a cat free home would be best for Betty.  A peek at Betty White’s DNA results helps to explain her natural athletic abilities. She is 46% American Pit Bull Terrier and 25% German Shepherd Dog so being active and wanting to move is in her genes. Naturally eager to learn, Betty has excelled at obedience training. If you need a workout partner who will keep you consistent and help you attain your fitness goals, Betty is the girl for you! But Betty White isn’t all go, all the time. She is a cuddler and snuggle bug, too. Betty White’s loving and charming personality have made her a foster favorite. Funny, friendly, and affectionate, she does have an off switch and loves to cuddle with her people while her batteries recharge. She warms you up with snuggles and kisses, and while she enjoys spending time with her people, she will sleep in her crate without a whimper. Betty is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and fully potty trained.  Want to meet Betty White? Fill out an inquiry form or visit our website! Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue At Path of Hope Rescue, our goal is to make EVERY DOG. WANTED. We are primarily a volunteer organization that focuses on transporting pregnant dogs and puppies from Texas, the number one kill state in America. The dogs we rescue are in poor living conditions and on euthanasia lists in shelters that are inundated with unwanted animals. We want to give these dogs a chance and bring them to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive, loving homes. Our adoption process sets us apart. We specialize in learning about you and your family to find just the right fit for you. Our Matchmakers are not only good at what they do; they will also guide you through the entire process.  Our Minimum Adoption Donation is $550 for puppies under a year and $450 for dogs one year and older. We are a WA state registered non-profit and rely heavily on adoption donations to cover the expenses associated with saving lives. Our dogs are spayed/neutered prior to adoption; microchipped with free lifetime registration; and up to date on DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines (when age appropriate) and heartworm and deworming. Adopters can also earn a $100 training refund if they attend (6) hours of any in person training course. We are 100% foster based; our dogs are fostered in loving homes where they are house and crate trained and learn basic obedience and leash skills. Dogs experience socialization opportunities with people, places, and other animals, and they receive the attention required to become well-rounded, healthy, and affectionate dogs that they would not otherwise receive in a shelter environment. Our commitment does not end when the dog is adopted. Path of Hope offers post adoption owner support including information on making the dog’s transition to your home a smooth one; recommendations for Preferred Trainers; advice on pet behavior and wellness topics; Facebook litter groups to keep in touch with fellow adopters; and invitations to local rescue hosted events. Adopters may choose to travel to Spokane to pick up their dog or use our monthly transport option, Puppy Delivery Express, for an additional delivery donation of $250.  Puppy Delivery Express currently delivers dogs throughout Washington and to parts of Montana, Idaho, and Oregon.  Please visit https://www.pathofhoperescue.com/ for more information about our organization and the adoption process. ##1395537##

Story
A TV critic and dog park aficionado Meet Mummy! Mummy is located in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area (See information below in the Adoption Donation section.) At about 4.5 years of age, Mummy is a mix of TV watching couch potato and dog park aficionado. She enjoys watching her favorite shows (anything featuring dogs is a big hit with her) but she cannot wait to get to the dog park and run, run, run with the other dogs (maybe because she knows she is the fastest one there!). Mummy came to our rescue after being found in a garage with her newborn puppies. Now that her puppies have gone out on their own, she is ready for her forever home. Mummy has a sweet temperament, a goofy ear, and the most adorable head tilt. As a mother, she has honed her listening skills and is always curious to hear what you have to say. Friendly and affectionate, Mummy loves to be with her favorite people and likes nothing better than cuddling or spending quality time with them. Mummy loves playing with other dogs and would be happy on her own or in a home with other canines. Mummy is house trained and walks well on a leash. She has started crate training and has basic obedience skills. Patient and gentle, she is great with children. Mummy has not been tested with cats yet. Mummy’s ideal home? One with people to love who will love her in return. Maybe a TV to keep up on her favorite shows and trips to the dog park or walks. Kids and other dogs would be fun, too, but if she has a special someone to cuddle with, she’ll be quite content. If this sounds like your home, Mummy would love to meet you! Want to meet Mummy? Story
Xena is a loving shepard who has been apart of our family since she's been a puppy. We have had her for roughly 6-8 years. As my parents have got older, they are unable to properly care for her. She is a loving dog, and we have never had any behavioral issues. She does great around children, and loves to be by whoever she is with. She has been around other dogs she's grown up with, however, it is unknown as to whether or not she would get along with new dogs. No health issues that we are aware of, but will more than likely need updated shots. She would be perfect for someone who already doesn't have any other animals and who is willing to take the time to properly exercise her and give her attention. She is currently living in 15 acres, and like any dog, needs room to run or to be taken out. She would be a great family dog, as she is used to being around little kids and larger groups of people!
