Slothy-girl! Don't let her name fool you, she doesn't move around like one. She is quick to her feet, and somehow, at just under 2 months of age, has mastered sitting, and lying down with the lure of a treat! This girl is VERY treat motivated, so we know taking her to the next level won't be any chore! She adores human love, attention, and especially all the fun we have together! Sloth has essentially already mastered leash-walking, as well! We are sold that she's the smartest puppy we've ever come across! Though, she likes to play shy at first, until treats are broken out, from then on, she's your best pal! Wiggling her butt, perking her ears, and wagging her little tail! She is truly as sweet as they come, too! She never hesitates to take some nice naps with her humans, or cuddle up on the sofa to relax for awhile. Often, we'll get a measly 10 minutes of playtime out of her until she's OUT like a light! Gratefully so, she LOVES other animals, too! To her, cats and dogs of ALL sizes are just little, or big buddies that she can play, cuddle, and hangout with! It's truly adorable seeing her interact so gracefully with other dogs. She's never intimidated, not even by the hundred pounders! We can't get enough of Sloth, and her big brown eyes, honestly! I can be adopted with a spay/neuter agreement! The refundable fee of $100 is INCLUDED in my $410 adoption fee! This fee covers my spay/neuter surgery (at the Monticello Vet Clinic), my vaccines: Bordetella, DA2PP, Rabies! & my heartworm test + preventatives! The $100 deposit is returned once proof of sterilization is furnished!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Louie is a young German Shepherd mix male, around 3 years old.  He bonds quickly to people, and is a very smart dog so will respond well to an experienced dog owner who can provide him structure and positive guidance!  Louie knows lots of basic commands, he is neutered, housetrained and kennel trained. He does require a home with no children as he does have work to do on resource guarding behaviors.  He is friendly and playful with other dogs; but will resource guard without warning so may be best suited as an only dog in his forever home.  Ultimately, the best fit for Louie will be someone willing to devote time and patience to him, and they will be rewarded with the love and loyalty of an amazing pup! No apartments or multi-family home settings for Louie please, and preferably a person within 50 miles of Cedar Rapids, IA so as to continue to work with Cedar Run Pet Boarding & Daycare for training help as needed.  Louie's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives plus the assistance of Cedar Run for basic obedience training classes and resources.  Last Hope does require that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, be altered and current on vaccinations and preventatives. This includes animals already owned by potential adopters. Say hello to Shotzy, the Midwest’s champion fetch player and all-around good girl! Shotzy is a 10-year-old, 81 pound German Shepherd. If you can throw it, Shotzy will fetch and return it, unless she’s feeling sassy and it becomes a game of keep-away. Shotzy LOVES people and wants to be by your side whatever you’re doing: working in the yard, taking a nap or concentrating at your computer. Bonus points if it includes a car ride. Shotzy knows basic commands and is eager to learn new ones. She is well-behaved and smart as a whip. Shotzy is left free to roam in her home when her foster mom is gone. Shotzy’s social skills are doubly amazing given that she spent the majority of her life chained to a tree in small-town Missouri. She does well with other dogs her size. Her standard healthcare had been neglected so she came to us with issues from head to tail. Over the last year under Fur Fun care, all her troubles have been addressed and she is now a beautiful example of her breed. She is house-trained, spayed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped. She takes a 16mg Apoquel tablet daily for allergies. Though she loves people, she is not a fan of cats. Shotzy requires a physically fenced yard to run and play safely. Rio has been at his foster home for 14 months. He will be 3 in July and weighs 75 pounds. Rio has seen a lot of other dogs come and go and just wants to find a home of his own. We know he is having a hard time finding a home because he wants to be the only dog. Rio isn’t vicious and doesn’t want to harm another dog. He just wants all the attention and gets jealous. Rio adores people and has a lot of love to give. He just needs someone to believe in him like we do. Rio needs a physically fenced yard to run and play. Rio is starting to lose hope.
