He enjoys gentle pets (especially booty rubs!), will happily lean in when he’s in the mood, and is also perfectly content just being near his people. He’ll politely move away when he needs space and may even sit and offer his paw yes, he knows sit and shake! He’s not a social butterfly, but once he warms up, his quiet companionship really shines.He’s lived with other dogs before and can do well with dog-savvy companions who respect his space and boundaries. He enjoys having his own bubble and would thrive with other calm dogs or as your one-and-only. Delta Dawn is a work in progress, trusting first. Delta Dawn is a pretty girl who looks to be a Black Shepherd possibly. She is suspicious of new people and situations. She loves treats though, so I'm able to work with her a bit. She shuts down if I touch her though and that just looks like her laying down and her wishing it was over.  Delta Dawn seems to like the old dog here, but is not impressed with crazy young dog antics.  She is a smart girl, and keeps her crate (overnight) clean. During the day, she has doggie door access to the exercise and play area.  She does haul all of the toys from the outside to the inside, and really prefers to stay in the heated building.    ##2621098##
