With those big, soulful eyes, Bette has perfected the art of the dramatic gaze. One look and you’ll be completely cast under her spell. Hollywood could never. But her star power doesn’t stop there. Bette’s coat? Pure luxury. The kind of soft that makes you keep petting her long after you meant to stop. Seriously — the softest coat you may ever touch. Behind the glamour, Bette is a sensitive girl still adjusting to a lot of recent change. She is currently very shut down after transport and will need a patient, understanding home willing to let her decompress at her pace. No pressure, no expectations — just kindness, consistency, and time. Every great actress needs her quiet backstage moments. Bette Davis is heartworm positive and not yet spayed, which means she will require heartworm treatment and spay surgery prior to finalizing adoption. Her heartworm treatment will take place in the Duluth area. Because of this, Bette is available as a foster-to-adopt placement until her medical care is complete. This allows her future family to begin bonding with her while supporting her through the final steps of her journey. Bette doesn’t need the spotlight right now — she just needs someone willing to let her story unfold. And trust us… this girl is worth the wait. 💛 Bette's adoption fee is $425plus MN tax which covers her spay, vaccinations, microchip and any additional medical care she may have needed while in the rescue’s care. While his past is a unknown, his future is looking bright because he arrived ready to make friends with everyone he meets! Just look at his intake photo (pictured second) - we’ve never seen a pup so happy to get vaccinated!Though he’s still working on his potty training, his winning personality more than makes up for it. Christopher is a smart, high energy boy who loves his people, so we’re confident he’ll master the basics and potty training in no time. He is ready to restart his life the right way - with a loving family!Christopher is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. Harley came to us nearly 100 days ago, transferred from another shelter after her previous owner could no longer afford her medical needs. Despite the upheaval of being surrendered and moving between facilities, this intelligent 4-year-old German Shepherd is still so loving. She is a loyal, sweet-natured girl who comes out of her shell once she feels safe and loved.You might notice some thinning fur in her photos. When Harley first arrived, she suffered from extensive hair loss on her neck, chest, and legs. Our vet team determined this was caused by a yeast overgrowth, and thanks to medicated baths and consistent treatment, she is improving so much! Harley is also currently on thyroid medication and being treated for heartworm. She`s definitely ready to start feeling better.While Harley can be a little shy with strangers, she warms up quickly once she feels safe. She walks perfectly on a leash, takes treats gently, and prefers a slow-paced world where she can sniff and explore at her own speed. She doesn`t like to be the life of the party, but she is more than ready for a family who understands her and can offer the calm environment she deserves.Thanks to the wonderful organization Molly is Hope, Harley’s adoption fee is fully sponsored. She’s ready to head home today at no cost to her new family!Harley is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines.
