Story
Meet Zeus ⚡️ This handsome five year old German Shepherd mix is the perfect blend of calm, loyal, and loving. Zeus is house-trained, gentle in nature, and gets along great with other dogs. He’s the kind of guy who just wants to be near his person and happily follow you from room to room like the devoted best friend he is. Zeus already knows how to sit and shake, and he’s always proud to show off his skills, especially if treats are involved. He does well with kids, but he can get a little too excited when saying hello and is still working on keeping all four paws on the floor, so a home with older kiddos would likely be his best fit. If you’re looking for a sweet, steady companion who will stick by your side through everything, Zeus is ready to be your loyal shadow and lifelong buddy. Story
Clover is settling in and doing great at his foster home but he is more than ready to find his furever home .    Clover is a 6 year old shepherd mix who’s a big boy weighing in at 94lbs. His previous owner was forced to give him up after being no longer able to care for him. Despite this huge change he adapted well to life at his foster home.    This gentle giant loves humans of all sizes but especially children . He has been used to being the only dog but has done fine in with his 4 legged foster sibling, although he isn’t much for playing. Clover has also done well around cats although sometimes he can seem a bit stressed around them.    His favorite thing to do is to play fetch. He would do this for hours if he was allowed! He does kennel fairly well but prefers not to have the door closed. Clover also does well roaming the house. He is fully potty trained and will let you know if he has to go outside.    Clover has a lot of love to give and is at the perfect age to do just that     If you’re interested in adopting Clover, and are Pre-approved, please private message us, or APPLY HERE: https://newleashdogrescue.com (or private message us if you’re already preapproved!)   **Clover’s $200 adoption fee includes UTD vaccinations, heartworm test, current vet check, and microchip. ##2452443##

Story
Meet Itty Bitty, the resilient little mama with a heart of gold! Don’t let the name fool you—her personality is larger than life, and her capacity for love is even bigger. Her Story Itty Bitty came to us from a reservation when she was very pregnant and looking for a safe place to land. She settled in like a total pro, raised her beautiful litter of puppies, and now, it is finally Itty Bitty’s turn to be the baby of the family! Why You’ll Love Her The Ultimate Social Butterfly: Itty Bitty has never met a stranger. She absolutely adores people and will be the first to greet you with a wagging tail and a happy grin. The Perfect Roommate: She is a "friend to all"—she gets along wonderfully with other dogs, is respectful of cats, and is gentle with children. She’s a true "plug-and-play" pup for almost any household. Smart & Scrappy: We recently got the DNA results back for one of her puppies, which showed a heavy mix of German Shepherd and Australian Cattle Dog. This explains her intelligence and her loyal, "velcro dog" nature! Fast Facts Age: Approximately 2 years old (the perfect age—past the puppy chewing but plenty of years of adventure left!) Vibe: Friendly, affectionate, and resilient. Ideal Home: Anywhere that has plenty of treats, soft beds, and humans to give her the chin scratches she deserves. Itty Bitty spent her early years taking care of everyone else; now, she’s ready for someone to take care of her. Are you the one she’s been waiting for? Itty Bitty has been spayed, microchipped, has had a heartworm test, is up to date on her rabies and distemper.

Story
Ash is super friendly puppy that LOVES people of all ages. She's a social dog that loves saying hi to anyone she meets. She's been socialized since birth with a variety of dogs of all breeds and sizes. She gets along great with every dog she meets. She's currently in a foster home with two dogs, a cat and 7-year-old (so very social). Ash has her first and second distemper, has been on a deworming schedule, has had a wellness exam, and is microchipped. The adopter will take over the responsibility of getting her spayed at the age your vet feels is best. They were born on 10/25. A DNA test was done in her litter and they came back at 38.5% German Shepherd, 35% Australian Cattle dog and 26.4% Supermutt!

Story
This dashing and charming boy is Alexander!Alexander came to PCHS when he was found as a stray in Lyle MN. The finders held onto him for over a month looking for owners but unfortunately no one ever came forward to claim him. He then made his way here so he could get some vet work and find his new home!Alexander is a happy, social boy who would love an active family to take him on walks or play in the yard with him. He is a bit selective with other dogs, and would need to meet any potential doggie siblings before going to his forever home. He is thought to be about 2 and half and some sort of smaller Shepherd/ Shiba type mix. He is on the smaller side at around 50 pounds. Alexander is looking for a fresh start where he can thrive. Could your home be the perfect fit for him? If you think so, apply online today!*Children in home recommended to be 12 years of age or olderAdoption fee is $350 + $30 microchip fee + tax

Story
Billy the Kid and Doc Holliday came to us from a valued reservation partner. First spotted on the side of the road in a very rural area, the rescuers went to retrieve them. When they arrived, the two dogs were nowhere to be found. Sightings and unsuccessful attempts at getting the dogs went on for ten days. Ten days spent with no shelter in this bitter cold spell we have been in. Finally, a team member who wasn’t searching just happened upon them and took them into safety. Doc and Billy were cold and thin, but alive. What a story of survival and rescue. They are not bonded. Both dogs have mellow, sweet personalities and are so friendly and smart. At just a year old, they are sure to make their respective adoptive families wonderful pets. Adoption fee $350 + $30 microchip fee + Tax
