Story
✨ Meet Our Run-Loving, Big-Hearted Girl ✨ Female German Shepherd | Smart | Vocal | Full of Personality This beautiful German Shepherd girl is looking for a home that understands her heart as much as her strength. She is incredibly smart, has strong opinions at all times, and yes — she will absolutely talk to you about them. She’s expressive, funny, and full of life. If you love a dog with personality, she will keep you smiling daily. Her favorite thing in the world? RUNNING. She thrives with movement, adventure, and being included. Around town, on outings, or anywhere she can be with her person — she does GREAT. She’s confident, curious, and happiest when she’s part of the day-to-day action. 💛 Important to know: She struggles with anxiety when left alone, which shows up as destructive behavior. This isn’t bad behavior — it’s fear. She does best in a home where someone is around often, works from home, runs errands with her, or is willing to continue working with her on confidence.

Story
Meet Jackie – The Anxious Genius with a Snack Security SystemJackie is a 4-year-old spayed female German Shepherd who came to the shelter with her sister Sally A1843615. Jackie is the more sensitive one of the duo and feels much braver (and happier!) when her sister is by her side. Jackie is affectionate and friendly. She loves people, walks easily on leash, and is extremely treat motivated—so much so that she’s developed a personal system for snack management. Jackie buries her treats for safekeeping, while Sally proudly takes on the role of “excavation specialist” and digs them back up.Teamwork makes the dream work. Jackie enjoys toys, playing with her sister, and soaking up affection.. With her sister nearby, her sweet personality really shines through. If you’re ready for double the dogs, double the love, and a built-in comedy routine, Jackie and Sally are waiting to meet you—and possibly hide snacks in your yard.

Story
Meet Darwin, a 5-year-old German Shepherd mix who is living proof that age is just a number… and that naps are best taken right next to your favorite human. Darwin is easy to leash, easy to walk, and easy to fall in love with. He strolls out to the play yard like a total professional, walks nicely on leash (especially after a little time to get his wiggles out), and explores new places with calm confidence. The Admin building? No problem. New people? Absolutely—he’d like to introduce himself to all of them, thank you very much. Darwin is selective with who he wants to be friends with (not every dog is his cup of tea—we respect boundaries), but he was friendly and playful through the fence with dogs he liked. With people, though? Total sweetheart. Darwin leans in for hugs, snuggles like a champ, and will happily lie down next to you while you work, quietly supervising and boosting morale.Despite being 5, he’s got a puppy streak—playful with toys, affectionate, and more youthful than you’d expect. He knows sit, shake, and down, and enjoys getting out for walks. Darwin was surrendered through no fault of his own due to a landlord not allowing him. His previous owner reports that he is housetrained, had obedience training, was not destructive, not an escape artist, and was great with adults, kids, and even cats (yes, EVEN cats). They summed it up best: he was a very good boy—and we wholeheartedly agree. Darwin is calm, cuddly, social, and genuinely wonderful… the kind of dog who makes you wonder how he’s still waiting for his forever home.

Story
Hi, I’m Oso! I may start out a bit on the gentle, quiet side, but I warm up quickly—and once I do, I’ll trust you with my whole heart, happily leaning in for hugs and kisses. When I look into your eyes, you’ll feel an instant connection and wonder how you ever lived without me!I’m already showing my brave, curious side—like when I walked right up to a volunteer in the play yard to see if she had any treats in her pockets. I’m also interested in other dogs and have been watching them politely through the fence.Come meet me! I’m ready to find a loving home with a calm, cozy place to land and a person to adore.
