Story
Bear is a big teddy bear, he loves cuddles but sometimes forgets his size. He listens when spoken to in a firm strong voice. Doesn’t get along with livestock, he thinks they are chew toys main reason for having to give him up. He loves to run freely in a large yard area but will run after cars especially the mail man. He is able to jump a 3ft fence but not 4ft and shock collars do nothing to him. He sits to a fist but might jump up for kisses after, as that’s how I trained him. Hes gently with kids and other dogs. Hes a great guard dog and scares anyone that walks by but he’s truly a gentl soul

Story
Chevy is a sweet, shy, gentle kind of guy who doesn’t quite understand how he got here, in the shelter, I mean! He`s about 5 years old, and has lovely reddish brown fur with super long legs. He`s a pretty big guy, weighing around 60 pounds but he walks nicely on leash and likes to lean in for pets. He also gives kisses, too! Chevy would love to be in a quiet, easygoing household, with older kids because of his shy nature. If you already have a doggo, bring them down to the West side for a meet-and-greet. Come on down and say hello!

Story
Hi, I’m Oso! I may start out a bit on the gentle, quiet side, but I warm up quickly—and once I do, I’ll trust you with my whole heart, happily leaning in for hugs and kisses. When I look into your eyes, you’ll feel an instant connection and wonder how you ever lived without me!I’m already showing my brave, curious side—like when I walked right up to a volunteer in the play yard to see if she had any treats in her pockets. I’m also interested in other dogs and have been watching them politely through the fence.Come meet me! I’m ready to find a loving home with a calm, cozy place to land and a person to adore.

Story
Baymax – Ball Chaser, Booty Scratch Enthusiast, All-Around Good BoyBaymax is a 2-year-old neutered male German Shepherd who believes life is simply better with a toy in your mouth and a ball at your feet. If it squeaks, bounces, or can be proudly paraded around like a trophy, he’s in. He came in with his buddy DJ, and when they head out together, they stroll side by side and explore at their own pace. Independent adventurers by nature, they’re more about calm companionship than wrestling or roughhousing. When he’s not on his own little explorations, Baymax is all about affection. He leans in close for petting like he’s trying to gently merge into your personal space. And if you discover the magic spot for booty scratches? Congratulations — you’ve just unlocked full-body happy wiggle mode. He already knows “sit,” takes treats gently like a total gentleman, and walks nicely on leash. Smart, playful, and well-mannered? That’s the total package.Baymax is the perfect blend of fun-loving energy and affectionate loyalty. Ready to chase a ball one minute and soak up love the next, he’s just waiting for a forever home to call his own.
