Story
Don't let the soft grey muzzle on this beautiful sweet girl fool you! Valentine is young at heart and eager to please. She knows how to sit and shake and loves treats. She adores humans but would need to be the only dog in the home. Valentine is a curious girl and loves to explore her environment, but will return to you every few minutes to rest her head in your lap to let you know how much she appreciates the time you are spending with her. Come and meet her! A team member adds, "I spent time with this unusually handsome girl in her room. She is REALLY friendly -- she came right up to me. She is calm with a nice energy level. She enjoyed getting scratches and rubs. She knows shake and will perform it for you as soon as she sees a treat. Another team member says, "Valentine is such a good girl. She's easy to harness and leash, and she's a great walking buddy. We went to the park, and she enjoyed getting a few zoomies out and was brave enough to try the agility ramp all on her own. She checked back in with me frequently for pets and sat like a perfect lady for treats."

Story
Hello, I`m Becky, your potential new best friend. I may be a senior, but my spirit is young. I`m as sweet as honey, friendly as a summer day, and curious as a cat. My gentle and mellow nature makes me the perfect companion for quiet evenings and evening strolls. I love cuddles and petting, they make my tail wag uncontrollably. I`m also housetrained, so no worries there. I enjoy a daily walk to keep my figure, but I`m not high maintenance. Adopting me means gaining a loyal friend who`ll always be by your side, eager to give love and warmth. I`m ready to make your house a home.

SallyBrown is a sweet young German Shepherd. She’s super playful and affectionate and will put her paws in your lap and give you a kiss. Sally loves to chase balls and pigeons in the play yard. Because she’s she eager to please and treat motivated, she would probably do great with leash training. SallyBrown seems dog friendly, but we always advise a meet and greet with any dogs you already have. This sweet girl will make a wonderful dog for the right family.

Story
My niece adopted Bailey from a shelter but realized her apartment was too small, so asked my family to take her in. We have had her since Thanksgiving, and she is very loving and fun. But she is too loving for us. She loves to jump up and kiss and lick people, but she is non-stop, and we have not been able to train her to stop jumping. She also wants to play non-stop with our other dog, Barkley, and she is so much bigger than he is that she has got him a little scared and skittish. I work full time and so does my wife, and Bailey needs more attention than we can give her. She is so playful, and a constant chewer, so we have a lot of strong chew toys. But unfortunately we have found that Bailey is more than our house can handle. We would love to place her with an active, outdoor owner, preferably with a yard she can explore.
