Story
Loki is good about camping doesn’t bark or growl with other dogs. He likes to meet people but sense a bad person.Down fall doesn’t get along with cats so no cats in the home. But minds very well. He’s very lovable. I adopted him from my great niece she was moving but the only reason I can’t keep him is that I have cats so he’s been in a cage but I have him outside much as possible weather permitting.Who adopts him hope let me keep contact with me if possible please!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Autumn is a wonderful girl who is finally ready to seek out a permanent home. Autumn is cautiously optimistic about new people. She is curious, but smart enough to go slow. Those who are patient with this curiosity win her over quickly (aka she comes to you, you don’t come to her). She absolutely thrives around other confident and playful dogs, so her ideal home would have at least 1 playful dog who also enjoys daily playing. A slower senior or tiny dog who is more sensitive may not be a great fit, because she will be bored. Autumn currently attends daycare 5 days a week with her foster home, and lives with other dogs who love to play with her. While she doesn’t require daycare, she definitely has the energy level and enjoyment to continue play dates with others or a family that is more active outdoors. She does require a fenced yard due to her previous situations, it is just a better option for her. Autumn can walk well on a leash well but can get startled and scared over really loud stimuli so we do walk her in less chaotic environments. Autumn has been introduced to cats with no concerns, and lives with teenagers. She does definitely seem more weary of men in general, so that may take a bit more time and treats to warm her up. She is crate trained, but she also behaves pretty well outside of a crate if left alone unless we take her friends out without her and then she may cry and howl at the window. We have learned to load her up in the car before them for daycareVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 4, 2023, 8:21 pm

Story
Our pets are physically located and fostered in NC until adopted. Once adopted we can transport to you. We have a cost effective transporter that has stops in most north eastern states. She runs every 2 weeks. Please note! Don't just apply just because she has a cheap adopt fee. You must prove you can afford to adopt regardless! I find that most of the folks who apply for my reduced fee dogs back out when they realize they are still responsible for the transport fee. If this applies to you please don't waste our time!Scarlett was born 2-1-21. Her mom was a german shepherd golden mix. We are not positive what dad was. Scarlett is active and very loving. She is good with people and ok with other dogs her size. She is too playful for small dogs. She needs a large dog only home. She is NOT good with cats. She needs an active home with room to run. She would not do well in a cramped up apartment with no exercise. She is house trained and crate trained,This baby will go home spayed and current on vaccinations, deworming, flea preventives, started on heartworm prevention and microchipped. This pup will receive a health certificate issued by our vet prior to going home. The adopter will get all his health records with the adoption. We require a prescreen application to apply. You can get that on our main website at www.saveamuttkennel.net

Story
Burr was born about November 9, 2022 and might top out in the 55-60 pound range.  Her mother was with us and found a home quickly. She appeared to be a Shepherd/Husky mix and had a wonderful personality that is shining through in Burr. There was likely a splash of Pitty in the dad as Burr has an amazing mahogany toned brindle with some striking white accepts.  This girl has a nice medium energy and extremely sweet.  She craves being near you, next to you, and even in your lap.  There are times that she plops herself on the top of the back of the couch and puts her paws around both sides of my neck and rests her chin on my shoulder - seriously sweet!  She is not much of a barker which we love and she will cuddle in quietly for a good night sleep only waking when we do about 7 a.m.  She is always happy to go romping and playing with all the other dogs both large and small.  And then there is the pond and she is an excellent swimmer!!!  She also has enough Husky in there to make her a bit comical at times and likely from her GSD side she is also one smart cookie and a fast learner.  She is surely a favorite here just waiting for someone else to find her and fall in love. The Adoption Fee for this dog is $_550.00_. Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.    Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Story
We are the little Oaks! The Oak's were born November 9, 2022 and might top out in the 55-60 pound range.  Their mother is our Oakley and she appears to be mostly GSD and Husky.  She came to us after being picked up wandering loose in a nearby town and when the owners located her the dog control officer was told they really didn't have the means to care for her and there were also seven pups about 7 weeks old and they admitted to being overwhelmed.  Thankfully, on such short notice, we had room to welcome Oakley and all the little 'Oaks'!.  The Oaks are very happy, social, babies and we simply adore them. We do feel there is a decent amount of Pitty mixed in with a few of the pups however all their paperwork indicates Shepherd/Husky.  You will obviously have normal puppy training to do but these kids are really smart and it should go rather smoothly.  Get your apps in quickly!  The Adoption Fee for this dog is $_550.00_.
