Story
Jack is one of twelve dogs saved from a horrific slaughterhouse outside Wuhan, China in August 2022. These meat-trade survivors arrived in Beijing emaciated, abused, and traumatized. Soon after, they were unexpectedly abandoned by their original “rescuers” and left stranded in limbo for years with no clear future. After months of coordination and dedication from the Run 2 The Rescue team, Jack finally landed safely at JFK Airport and was transported to ARF Hamptons, where he has received medical care, compassionate attention, and the stability he needed to begin his new life. Jack is a gorgeous and confident young man who is looking for someone to show him the ropes. He isn’t quite sure how to be a pet, but he is incredibly sweet. He loves people, enjoys walks, and is eager to please. Because he was unsocialized for most of his life, we recommend a home with older children and prefer a home without cats. Jack will do best with an experienced dog owner who can provide guidance, structure, and continued training. With time, patience, and the right person, Jack will undoubtedly become a loyal and loving companion to someone willing to give him a chance.

Story
Raven is a stunning German Shepherd with a bold spirit and a whole lot of energy. She’s looking for an experienced, committed owner who understands the needs of a high-drive working breed and can continue her training with patience and consistency. She came to ARF when her owners could no longer care for her and is now ready to find her forever home! Raven is smart, athletic, and full of potential—but she’ll thrive best in a structured home where she can get plenty of mental and physical stimulation. She’s selective with other dogs and may be too much for cats. Due to her exuberant nature, Raven is best suited to a household without children. Raven is looking for an experienced dog owner who can give her the guidance and training she needs. She requires daily enrichment, training and structure in order to become the best girl she can be. Multiple meetings with our training staff will be required before taking Raven home. If you’re ready to invest the time and love into helping Raven become the incredible companion she’s meant to be, she just might be your perfect match!

Story
SAMMIE IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE HE IS ADOPTED!    "Hey there, I'm Sammie! I am a social butterfly who loves every dog I meet and really hope my future home has other pups to play with! In my foster home, my favorite times are snuggle time, playtime, and dinner time! I'm a pro at cleaning my plate. I am a bit curious about the resident kitty in my foster home, but I promise I've never been anything but polite! I'm well versed in 'sit' and adore a game of fetch. Give me a backyard, and I'll run myself into nap time. I've made many furry and human friends in my foster home, and they all seem to think I'm great! I'm working on mastering the leash and to not bark, but I am getting into the crate when asked! If you have a couch and endless love to give, I'm ready to be yours!" He is 4 years old and 65 lbs. He is fully vetted including neuter, microchip, and all shots including rabies shot. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Sammie up north after he is adopted.     To apply to adopt Sammie, go here:  http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net .    Any questions, email us at newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com .     THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 22, 2025, 5:08 pm

Story
Hello everyone I have had to currently move and cannot have dogs unfortunately I tried everything. Titan is a 4 year old boy and very very loyal and great with my daughter. Titan is very territorial in the house hold and guarded to new commers but I believe a experienced trainer could fix this because he is very smart. No bite history but due yo his size (he is a big boy) he comes off scary. I can answer anymore questions if interested

Story
You won't find a more handsome, intelligent or silly boy than Sidney. He is about 3.5 years old and weighs 84 lbs. Sidney is a very intelligent fellow, he learns quicky and is anxious to please. He will do well with a job and/or a lot of stimulation, long walks and hikes. He will do well with an experienced dog person. Sidney loves meeting new people. He has done well with large dogs he has met, however he is would not be good with small dogs or cats. Sidney does show some barrier reactivity, however, when the barrier is removed (whether it is a crate, fence or car window) he shows absolutely no issues. Because Sidney likes a lot of activity, he will need a securely fenced yard (must be a physical fence, not an electric or invisible system) He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and on monthly treatment for flea/ticks and heartworm prevention Sidney is currently located in the Middle TN area but transport is included in the adoption fee for approved adopter If you are interested in Sidney, email rookiesrescue@yahoo.com for an application
