Story
Jack is one of twelve dogs saved from a horrific slaughterhouse outside Wuhan, China in August 2022. These meat-trade survivors arrived in Beijing emaciated, abused, and traumatized. Soon after, they were unexpectedly abandoned by their original “rescuers” and left stranded in limbo for years with no clear future. After months of coordination and dedication from the Run 2 The Rescue team, Jack finally landed safely at JFK Airport and was transported to ARF Hamptons, where he has received medical care, compassionate attention, and the stability he needed to begin his new life. Jack is a gorgeous and confident young man who is looking for someone to show him the ropes. He isn’t quite sure how to be a pet, but he is incredibly sweet. He loves people, enjoys walks, and is eager to please. Because he was unsocialized for most of his life, we recommend a home with older children and prefer a home without cats. Jack will do best with an experienced dog owner who can provide guidance, structure, and continued training. With time, patience, and the right person, Jack will undoubtedly become a loyal and loving companion to someone willing to give him a chance.

Poppy is a gorgeous young Australian Shepherd / German Shepherd mix looking for an active and loving home. Poppy needs to find her person who can give her guidance and continued training. She has been working very well with ARF’s trainers, and we are happy to provide Poppy’s new parents with training at our facility at no cost. Poppy needs to live in an adult-only home. While she doesn’t mind children, they are just too much for her exuberant personality. She needs a calm and stable environment in order to thrive in her routine.

Story
Raven is a stunning German Shepherd with a bold spirit and a whole lot of energy. She’s looking for an experienced, committed owner who understands the needs of a high-drive working breed and can continue her training with patience and consistency. She came to ARF when her owners could no longer care for her and is now ready to find her forever home! Raven is smart, athletic, and full of potential—but she’ll thrive best in a structured home where she can get plenty of mental and physical stimulation. She’s selective with other dogs and may be too much for cats. Due to her exuberant nature, Raven is best suited to a household without children. Raven is looking for an experienced dog owner who can give her the guidance and training she needs. She requires daily enrichment, training and structure in order to become the best girl she can be. Multiple meetings with our training staff will be required before taking Raven home. If you’re ready to invest the time and love into helping Raven become the incredible companion she’s meant to be, she just might be your perfect match!

SAMMIE IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE HE IS ADOPTED!    "Hey there, I'm Sammie! I am a social butterfly who loves every dog I meet and really hope my future home has other pups to play with! In my foster home, my favorite times are snuggle time, playtime, and dinner time! I'm a pro at cleaning my plate. I am a bit curious about the resident kitty in my foster home, but I promise I've never been anything but polite! I'm well versed in 'sit' and adore a game of fetch. Give me a backyard, and I'll run myself into nap time. I've made many furry and human friends in my foster home, and they all seem to think I'm great! I'm working on mastering the leash and to not bark, but I am getting into the crate when asked! If you have a couch and endless love to give, I'm ready to be yours!" He is 4 years old and 65 lbs. He is fully vetted including neuter, microchip, and all shots including rabies shot. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Sammie up north after he is adopted.     To apply to adopt Sammie, go here:  http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net .    Any questions, email us at newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com .     THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 22, 2025, 5:08 pm

Story
Diesel is currently stationed at a foster farm, surrounded by chickens, ducks, squirrels and an elderly golden retriever, who prays daily that he stops peeing on everything with such enthusiasm. Diesel recently tasted duck eggs for the first time and would now follow you into battle, the afterlife, or Costco if you promised him another. When food appears, he performs a majestic spin move, part ballerina, part malfunctioning helicopter. Diesel when left unsupervised, will get into trouble, but only the crazy kind, not the criminal kind. Diesel was recently neutered. But don't worry, while he can no longer procreate with the ladies, he can still admire them dramatically from across the yard like the romantic hero he believes he is. Diesel is one heck of a stud, even post-neuter... and he is SO ready to settle down with his forever family while continuing to detect all the unnecessary evils in this world.
