Story
COMET IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE HE IS ADOPTED!    GSD lovers, check out Comet! He's a beautiful, young German Shepherd most likely under a year old. He is inquisitive, playful, incredibly smart, and food driven. He's done very well in training. He is crate trained, leash trained, and potty trained. He is good with kids and other dogs with a proper introduction. Comet needs a family that will pick up where the foster family leaves him in terms of training and *continues* that with him. Comet would not be good for a first-time dog owner; he needs a home that can fulfill him with walks, training, and enrichment toys! He's an incredibly loving dog and would do best with another dog friend in the home to run and play with. He is such a fun dog to play with, train, and scratch behind his massive ears.   He is fully vetted including neuter, microchip, and all shots including rabies shot. His adoption fee of $550 includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Comet up north after he is adopted.  To apply to adopt Comet, go here:  http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net .    Any Questions, email us at newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com .  THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 29, 2023, 2:20 pm

Story
SAMMIE IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE HE IS ADOPTED!    "Hey there, I'm Sammie! I am a social butterfly who loves every dog I meet and really hope my future home has other pups to play with! In my foster home, my favorite times are snuggle time, playtime, and dinner time! I'm a pro at cleaning my plate. I am a bit curious about the resident kitty in my foster home, but I promise I've never been anything but polite! I'm well versed in 'sit' and adore a game of fetch. Give me a backyard, and I'll run myself into nap time. While I've got a sweet side, I've also been known to channel my inner American Ninja Warrior and take a hop over short fences. I need to be watched!   I've made many furry and human friends in my foster home, and they all seem to think I'm great! I'm working on mastering the leash and to not bark, but I am getting into the crate when asked! If you have a couch and endless love to give, I'm ready to be yours!"   He is estimated to be between 2-3 years old and 65 lbs. He is fully vetted including neuter, microchip, and all shots including rabies shot. His adoption fee of $550 includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Sammie up north after he is adopted.  To apply to adopt Sammie, go here:  http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net .    Any Questions, email us at newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com .  THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 29, 2023, 2:20 pm

Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
We rescued Sidney from a horrific shelter in Memphis, TN. When we got him, he was skin and bones and had some barrier aggression issues (who knows what horrors he suffered there) It didn't take long for Sidney to realize he was now safe and could start letting down his guard. Sidney Poitier has filled out and is truly a stunning dog. He is still looking for his forever home. Sidney is good when meeting new people and shows no overt aggression, though he has enough of a prey driver, he can't be in a home with cats or small dogs. Sidney is very intelligent and would do well as a search and rescue dog or some kind of service dog. He needs an experienced owner to help him be the best boy he can be. He needs a securely fenced yard. Sidney is about 1.5 years old, and is at his healthy weight of 80 lbs.  He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and on monthly treatment for flea/ticks and heartworm prevention Sidney is currently located in the Middle TN area and I will insist on a meet and greet prior to any adoption (so if you live out of area, plan on a road trip) If you are interested in Sidney Poitier, contact us at cox_ann@bellsouth.net
