Story
Berger Blanc Suisse (White Swiss Shepherd). He is a very sweet and smart dog. Very good with children, women, and other dogs. He is a great pet for someone that has time for walks and play daily. We are a very busy household and unfortunately cannot give him all the attention that he needs or deserves. He is very chill in the home and lays around most of the day. He is a great alarm system and will alert you if anyone comes near the door. He is trained on basic commands. No jumping, doesn't climb on furniture. He loves to play fetch and loves a good belly rub.

Story
Phoenix is insanely playful and energetic. She would do really good in a home with no kids, and people who are okay with either putting her away with company, or don’t have too much traffic in and out of the house. She is not a fan of people, and it’s been since she was a puppy. She knows sit, down, come, and place. She has done lots of training to help with reactivity towards dogs and people on walks, and has made huge strides. She will need someone who is capable of reinforcing training.

Story
We got Ranger from Portsmouth Humane Society and he is approximately 7 years old! Extremely well behaved dog and great with kids! House trained. Okay to stay alone in the house, never gets into anything and has never had an accident. I hate to rehome, but he deserves someone who can devote more time to him. He is a fantastic, loyal, dog.

Story
Alexis is a stunning, purebred German Shepherd with a loyal heart and so much love left to give. She has been cherished since she was a young puppy by a devoted dad who is now facing one of the hardest decisions of his life. Due to serious health challenges and a move closer to medical care, he can no longer keep his beloved girls—and he is absolutely heartbroken. At Critter Cavalry Rescue, we made him a promise: Alexis will find a safe, loving home where she can thrive and be treasured just as she deserves. Alexis is a beautiful girl who could benefit from losing about 20 pounds, and she’s ready for a fresh start filled with healthy routines and fun activity. She’s smart, affectionate, and enjoys both playtime and relaxing at home with her people. She has lived with children and other dogs and does wonderfully—but she will need a cat-free home. She especially loves playing with her Blue Heeler sister, Sassy, and has been a constant, loyal companion. Now it’s her turn to find a family who will give her the same unconditional love she has always given. Alexis is ready for her next chapter—a life filled with walks, companionship, and a family who will keep the promise we made to her dad: that she will always be safe, loved, and secure.   If you feel that pull in your heart, please reach out.   Email: ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Be sure to include your city and state when inquiring.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 10, 2026, 5:08 pm

Story
JACK- 1 Year & 7 Months Jack was recently surrendered by owner due to not getting along with his litter mates and his parents.  The owner states he does well with other dogs that are not related to him, although he has shown resource guarding tendencies so food and toys should be kept separate.  He likes playing with tennis balls and being a goof ball himself. He has never been around children and would not do well with cats.  He enjoys lounging on the couch watching tv with his person, but he can also be energetic and playful like the pup he is.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 6, 2025, 10:17 pm
