Story
Meet Molly - your soon-to-be furry best friend! If you're looking for a dog that has it all, you've come to the right place. Molly is friendly, playful, curious, funny, affectionate, smart, a bit shy, submissive and athletic! She's basically the ideal dog. Now, you may be wondering why such a perfect dog is up for adoption. Unfortunately, Molly's previous owners lost their home, and she lost her family :(. Molly does great with other dogs and she loves to play in water! She can be a bit reserved in New situations, but that doesn't last long! Molly is hoping to find her forever home this time --- could it be yours? Meet Molly (formerly known as Miley)! Breed: mom was a Shepherd mix, we aren't sure what dad was. Age: est 3 years, approx birthdate 12/22/20. Weight: approx 45-50lbs. Training: crate, leash, and house trained. She could use more guidance on the leash. Good with other dogs/cats? Yes, she lived with other dogs. We will need to cat test. Good with adults/kids? Yes. Personality: timid/reserved at first, but she warms up to be playful! Reason for rescue: originally - accidental litter. She was adopted in 2021 and recently returned due to owners losing their home. Molly is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and preventatives. If interested in adding this sweet baby to your family, please message for an adoption application! Adoption fee: $75.April 12, 2024, 2:12 pm

Story
Bear is 9 years old. We took him in about 4 months ago but due to my one year old son being allergic we are having to rehome the sweet guy. He is so gentle and sweet. He will talk back to you and greet you at the door after a long day at work. He is so smart and will talk back with you especially if he has to go potty. He gives you kisses, hand shakes, cuddles and hugs. He also loves to catch a frisbee or ball but can also be one sleepy lazy guy. He will always do what you want to do as long as he is your best friend.

Story
MEET ABE (also known as Scooby Doo)Abe is approximately a 1year old Hound/Australian Shepard mix. He is fully grown (60lb) and ready for his forever home. His start in life was not easy and despite being shot with an arrow back in December of 2023, he managed to maintain his curious, friendly, and snuggly character to this day. Now, he is all healed up and has gone through some training and his foster mom can assure you that he is very intelligent. He is completely house and crate trained, and knows the commands sit, down, and stay. He loves to fetch toys in return for a treat and he always appreciates chest and belly rubs.Since Abe is still a “teenager” with a high energy level, he is looking for a home with somebody who preferably has some dog handling experience, a fenced-in yard, and the opportunity to lead an active life. He is definitely not a dog that wants to be chained on a rope or stay in a crate all day. If you are interested in adopting Abe, please fill out an application at www.heartofthefoothills.org/adopt. Abe can’t wait to meet his future family member(s)!If you are interested in adopting this animal please fill out an application at heartofthefoothills.org/adopt. Story
Hi, I`m Ash! I am a very sweet boy, who needs help with training on basic commands and walking on a leash. I am very food motivated so using treats may help train me! I am10 months old and the shelter staff believe I am a Lab and Shepherd mix. I guess that means I will get to be a big boy once I am full grown. I am already a big boy, but I might have some room for more growth! All I know is that I am looking for my fur-ever home that will give me just as much love as I will give them!
