Story
Levi is a very smart boy and deserves a home where someone has experience with agressive dogs and a dog who has had trauma in his life. Unfortunately he has had a rough 15 mths of his life. He is on his third owner. He is very territorial with me lunging at my daughter when she hugs me. Lunges at other dogs on walks. Levi deserves an experienced dog owner who can handle his aggressive behavior with other animals and any aggression towards people. He knows how to sit, lay down and is treat motivated.

GIO Age (approx) 1 Year, 2 Months Size Medium Sex Male Breed Mixed Good With Children Yes Good With Dogs Yes Good With Cats Yes Neutered Yes MORE ABOUT GIO Gio was found wandering with his brother Gucci as puppies, They have been fostered while waiting and hoping for a forever home for quite some time. They have grown into lovely dogs, friendly and happy boys. Both are familiar with being on leash and would be great partners on a nice walk. They have quite a bit of energy, they are youngsters afterall. They are very trainable and would quickly learn new commands. Both dogs would be fine in a home with children, normal rules withstanding for kids and dogs and supervision etc. They get along well with other dogs and are fine with cats. These two boys have a lot to give and are very straightforward; they would fit into most homes. They have grown up together but do not need to be adopted together. Gio is approximately 34lbs You can find my form " Rescue Dog Adoption Application" at: https://form.jotform.com/211694512438255 Adoption fee is $850

Story
Reeses Pieces here, Reese for short!I am a rambunctious, gorgeous, strong and approximately 4 year old girl! I was brought in as a stray so not a lot is known about my history. I already know how to sit and try my best to keep my room clean! I have so much love to give and energy to match! My ideal home would be one where I have a bunch of space to run around and play with a mountain of toys! I also really love my people, so if someone could be home with me throughout the day, I think that would be just swell! I am sure to keep you entertained with my silly ways! If you think you've got the space and energy to keep up with a big love bug like me, please reach out to my friends at the OSPCA York Region to set up a time to come and meet me!Yours always, -Reese Primary Color: Brown Weight: 42.1 Age: 4yrs 1mths 0wks

FOSTER-TO-ADOPT HOMES NEEDED!! ***Please apply at https://www.fetchandreleash.ca/adoption-info#adoption-form*** We would love to welcome Travis into the Fetch + Releash family on April 14th (subject to change). In order for Travis to come into our care, we need a committed family. As a foster-to-adopt family, you'll be expected to take him/her home on his/her arrival date. You will then have two weeks to get to know your new furry house guest before committing to adoption. At the end of two weeks, if you choose not to move forward with adoption, we simply ask that you continue to provide a safe and loving home until their new forever family can be found. Each bio was created by our rescue partners based on their interactions with the dogs. Fetch + Releash has a full disclosure policy however we cannot guarantee a dog against parasites or diseases, nor can we guarantee a dog's nature/behaviour. Many of these dogs are coming directly from the shelter and so you should expect there to be a transitional period. Be prepared to deal with common issues like potty training, leash walking, and socialization. Cat and kid safety assessments are often based on their personality and not necessarily on actual interactions. Where possible, the majority of vetting will be completed prior to coming to Canada, however, foster-to-adopt families may be required to travel to our partner vet in Mississauga, ON for further vet care. During your foster-to-adopt trial, you'll receive the support of a Fetch + Releash mentor to help you through the transition and answer any questions or concerns you may have. Foster-to-adopt families will be required to pay a $200 deposit on the adoption fee and sign our foster-to-adopt waiver in advance. If you choose not to adopt, your $200 will be refunded to you within 30 days of your dog being adopted into a new family provided you see your pup through to adoption. If you choose not to see your dog through to adoption, you will forfeit your deposit. Foster-to-adopt families will be expected to provide their own supplies. Visit https://www.fetchandreleash.ca/adoption-info for more info on mandatory supplies. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Travis / Male / 8 years / 71 pounds / Shepherd Mix / Sweet Senior / From Tennessee Travis, a sweet and dignified senior, found himself abandoned in a quiet rural community in Tennessee. While we may not know the details of his past, one thing is clear: he was cherished and loved at some point in his life. At his age, Travis would thrive in a home with a yard. Giving him a peaceful space to explore at his own pace and allowing him to do his business would be ideal for this deserving senior. With some patience he will be a master of walking on a leash allowing to go on some special adventures. He has had limited exposure to walking on leash but his curious nature and eager to please attitude is a recipe for success. House training may require some gentle reminders, as he's spent a significant part of his life outdoors and may be accustomed to that as his bathroom spot. However, with the right guidance, he shouldn't have much trouble adjusting to indoor living. He's not a big fan of a crate but we feel he can be trusted with free roam. We are unsure if he knows any basic commands but we truly believe an old dog can learn new tricks. Travis is laid back and will be happy to just spend his days hanging with his new trusted people. We have a deep desire to see Travis find a loving home where he can enjoy his well-deserved retirement, surrounded by the warmth and comfort of a family. The idea of him spending his golden years alone in a small pen is heartbreaking, and we believe he deserves so much more. Travis has the power to steal the hearts of his new family with his gentle nature and unwavering gratitude for the love and care he'll receive. A home with older respectful children would be the most ideal to ensure his space can be respected as he adjusts to his new life. Contact us today to welcome Travis into your home and let him become a cherished part of your family. Together, you can create a heartwarming story of companionship, love, and the joy of providing a happy retirement to a deserving senior. Travis tested positive for Ehrlichia which is a common tick-borne disease that stays in the bloodstream for many years. This has been treated, and moving forward regular yearly bloodwork would be recommended. Although this should not cause any issues moving forward, it's important that if Travis required surgery or a dental, pre-operative blood work (CBC+Platelet count) are completed beforehand. If you’re interested in fostering with the intention of adopting, please apply at https://www.fetchandreleash.ca/adoption-info#adoption-form Travis adoption fee is $550. To learn more about our adoption fees and the foster-to-adopt process, please visit our FAQs at https://www.fetchandreleash.ca/about-us#about-faqs.
