Elsa is one of 11 siblings born on Family Day. She is a typical little puppy.....eat,.play, poop .sleep (maybe not in that order!).She's playful and sweet and looks just like her dad with her dad's big feet! She will be a medium/large lady, so some experience with the breeds will be beneficial. She has been dewormed and will be visiting the vet this week for her first vaccines and microchip, and will come with a voucher for her spay done at 6 months, at our vet in Woodstock. To facilitate his spay surgery, adopters must live with half an hour from Woodstock. Her adoption fee is $500. You must be 21 years old to adopt and provide vet and personal references. An application to adopt him can be found on our website www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com. Click on Adopt, then Dogs for Adoption and scroll to the bottom of the page. Do not click on his profile or use Autofill as the application will not submit. All applications are reviewed, and if we feel you might be a good fit for her, you will be contacted to arrange a home visit as well as for permission to speak with your vet. Story
Caylee is 8 months old. Her owner was facing some health challenges and was no longer able to care for her or her sister Laycee. Foster family says this about them... They are really good puppies, listen well and are very smart. • Loves to play outside and with their toys • Loves belly rubs • Smart, quick to learn and are treat motivated • Crate trained and sleep well at night • House trained • Needs to work on not jumping on visitors They haven't been tested with children, cats or other dogs, but feel they would be fine with proper introductions and boundaries. Their previous owners say they enjoy other dogs, love car ride and their walks. They would defenitely benefit from formal training to help with socialization, keep their busy minds active and help with leash skills. Both have recently had their spay surgery, are up to date on vaccines, are heartworm negative, have been flea and tick treated, and are microchipped. Caylee's adoption fee is $500. Story
Wren / Female / 2 Years / 55lbs / Shepherd Mix / Dogs: Yes / Cats: Yes / Kids: Yes / Location: Prescott 📍 Remember Wren? This sweet girl was flown to safety from Timmins to Brockville thanks to our amazing friends at Pilots 4 Paws, and she’s now settled into her foster home, waiting patiently for her happily-ever-after! Wren is a total sweetheart — easygoing, cuddly, and always up for a little fun. She LOVES playing in the yard, going for walks, hanging with other dogs (she’s dog-social!), and yes… she’s pretty food motivated (cookies = best thing ever). She’s also doing great with the resident cat in her foster home. This quiet, snuggly girl is crate trained, house trained, and super smart. She’s eager to please and would make an excellent first dog for someone ready to learn and grow with her. She’d love a home with a yard, but regular walks and playtime will also make her one happy pup. Wren is a little shy in new situations, but she’s gaining confidence every day. She’ll be spayed before adoption (or post-adoption via our foster-to-adopt program), and she’s already microchipped and up to date on vaccines. We’re so excited for Wren to find the loving family she deserves. Could it be you? Apply to adopt sweet Wren today — and help her write the next chapter of her journey! https://forms.gle/co1Vrjz6wq6weVFY8 Wren will be spayed, and is microchipped and vaccinated. She is currently located in Prescott but we can arrange transport to the GTA.
