Story
Otis is a 5 month old mix breed puppy. He lost his left eye when the owner's other dog attacked him. The owner couldn't afford the vet bill and so Otis was left at the animal shelter. He is the cutest guy ever with or without the eye though. His coat is a blueish color and his remaining eye is green-blue. He very much wants to be around his people at all times because he is a super love. He loves cuddles and snuggles and is super treat motivated. He likes all other dogs and is pretty submissive to all of them. He is crate trained and uses a dog door to go outside and use the bathroom. We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals. Our adoption fee goes towards covering age appropriate shots, dewormer, heartworm test, rabies shot, microchip, and spay/neuter! To learn more please feel free to message us at caninekarmarescue@gmail.com or fill out our application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CKR/Dog Our adoptions are not conducted on a first come first served basis and we work to find the best home for each dogs individual needs.

Story
Meet Maxx, a 1 1/2-year-old male German Shepherd mix weighing 60 lbs. Maxx is a friendly and happy pup who knows his obedience commands and is great on a leash. Maxx is fantastic with dogs and kids but would do best in a home without cats. He's treat-motivated and takes them gently, making training a breeze. While he may jump a little when he first meets people, once he gets his wiggles out, he settles down nicely. Maxx loves to play with toys and is always ready for a fun game. If you're looking for a loyal and playful companion, Maxx could be the perfect addition to your family. Contact us today to meet him!

Story
Meet Francis! This lively 9-month-old German Shepherd mix weighs 52 lbs and has a big personality to match her size. Francis is high-energy, confident, and loves to seek attention. She’s independent but treat-motivated, making her a great candidate for training. While she may jump on people to say hello, her playful and affectionate nature shines through. Francis would thrive in an active home with older kids and other dogs but would do best in a cat-free environment. With a bit of leash training, Francis is sure to become a loyal and fun companion!

Story
I found Lenna (which means lion-hearted in German) through a Facebook post. She was on a ranch along with 10 other similar dogs. She was 8 weeks old when I got her. She'll be 2 by February. Great companion, and a great character. Very intelligent and super receptive. Highly trainable. She is not crate-trained and she has no behavior issues. She is very much bonded with me. She plays with our Shih-Tzu. She is good with kids preferably older kids. My son is 10 and she is very good with him. She is very active so I prefer someone who knows the breed. Someone who works from home is single and can spend enough time with Lenna. I am giving her away because I have heavy business travels, sometimes overseas for a month and we'll move to out of state soon.
