She tested POS for heartworms and her treatment through the DAWG program will be at no cost to adopter. Adopter must agree to make her available for treatment(s). Story
Kimber is a sweet, lovable, happy, playful, and incredibly kind dog. She’s amazing with kids, good with cats, has never met a person she hasn’t liked, and absolutely adores other dogs. She’s athletic and would be a great dog for an active family or would love to have a playmate in another dog (she LOVES other dogs). But she also knows how to relax and would love to snuggle with you on the couch. She's a big fan of the outdoors as well. We cannot keep her. My son is allergic and Kimber is causing problems for him. We’re sad to see her go, but it’s for the best. The ideal situation for Kimber would be lots of space, another dog, or a family that could walk her as often as every other day or so. She loves to cuddle, loves to play, loves to be petted, and is just a fantastic dog. Please help us find her a great home!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Say hello to Scout! She was rescued in the Texoma area after (most likely) being dumped on a country road. She was taken in by a Good Samaritan, but no owner was found. So now she has been vetted including spay, and she is ready to find her forever home!   Scout was estimated to be about 2 years old when she was first found. She is super sweet with people and gets along well with other dogs, both male and female. She LOVES to play with other dogs so would appreciate having a canine pal in her new home. Scout is crate-trained and walks nicely on a leash. She is a high energy dog, so she needs an adopter who has a big yard and/or is willing to take her on regular walks and trips to the park.   Scout is being introduced to chickens -- slowly and carefully, always with supervision -- so if you keep a backyard flock, you could continue her training.   If Scout looks like exactly the dog you've been waiting for, complete the application today! Cash came to the rescue when the shelter sent him to have his fractured leg amputated at our vet clinic. He had been shot, and we have no idea of the other abuse he had suffered, but he is initially afraid of new men (fine once he learns they mean him no harm). While he is not an aggressive boy, he acts as if he could tear into someone, which can be off-putting. He is fine with women, loving, outgoing, and cuddly, especially with his foster mom. We are helping him work onhis fear, which can/will be resolved with patience and TLC.Cash lives with lots of other dogs and gets along with everyone, large and small. He is playful and happy, can be as gentle or rough as needed, depending on who he is playing with. He walks fine on a leash and is good at going for rides when he gets a chance.He is crate trained and asks to go out if needed between potty breaks. He generally has good house manners, except when he counter-surfs for food when the opportunity presents itself.Cash is fully vetted, current with vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and on flea and tick, as well as heartworm, prevention.
