Non spayed - German shepherd condition Pannus - has never had puppies to my knowledge at least not while we have had her and the previous owners did not have her for breeding she was a house pet - they got her as a puppy - She has been known to chase cats so it’s unknown whether or not she likes cats. Story
The rescue story of our perfect German Shepherd boy called Aries as told by his foster mom. He is about 6-7 years and just under 80 pounds: Aries is probably the happiest dog I’ve ever had! He has a lot to celebrate and I think he knows it… I heard that a GSD was at a full local “kill” shelter and made up my mind to rescue him when I heard he had 1 more day. When I went to the shelter to pick him up, his demeanor was to maintain his distance. You could tell he was confused and on his back foot about where he was and why. Then he got a whiff of my farm boots and the great outdoors and his expression changed.Upon arrival at my farm, his personality came alive. I turned him loose in a big grassy field and he ran and sniffed and explored, always coming back to check in with me to make sure I was ok with his enthusiasm!!Since that day he has never looked back. The freedom and carefree abandon he is experiencing is evident in his happy eyes and tail wags. His best friends are two Heelers who he frolics with for hours. His most favorite toy is a big blue ball that he happily plays with when everyone else is resting. Every morning and evening when I feed him he expresses gratitude with wags and a loving lick or two to my face. The best situation for him would be a home with a big yard and lots of room to run and play. He is is a mature and settled, calm dog who has thrived here with me and his new dog friends. He prefers no cat friends!     If you would like to know more please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com      PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 13, 2025, 12:29 am

Story
Sometimes it’s hard to understand how the world can fail animals the way it does. How does a stunning pair of 7-month-old, purebred German Shepherd sisters end up wandering as strays in a quiet rural Tennessee town? Yet that’s exactly how Luna’s story began.  Luna is the more shy and observant of the two sisters, but her joyful spirit shines through immediately. At 46 pounds, she already carries herself with a calm, sweetnes that tells you what a great companion she will make a family.   She walks beautifully on a leash, is crate trained, and rides like a pro in the car. Despite everything she’s been through, Bella remains happy, affectionate, and easy to connect with. She lives peacefully alongside cats and dogs of all sizes and blends into new environments with impressive ease. Luna is not hyper or unruly — she is thoughtful, observant, and ready to learn. With continued confidence-building and positive reinforcement, she will grow into an incredible adult German Shepherd, likely reaching 70–75 pounds.  Luna and her sister Bella were never claimed, and after waiting weeks with no one coming for them, they were released into the care of Critter Cavalry Rescue. We made them a promise — to find them experienced, loving, German Shepherd-savvy homes where they can thrive. A fenced yard is required, as well as adopters committed to gentle guidance, training, and building trust. Luna is a wonderful fresh young life  ready to be molded into a loyal, well-mannered companion.  She and Bella are ready to be home for Christmas — warm beds, loving people, and a future they deserve.       Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting our special. Story
Bella is a 7-month-old purebred German Shepherd with a bright future ahead of her — and we can’t wait to see where life takes her next. Found wandering as a stray in rural Tennessee alongside her sister Luna, Bella somehow landed on the right side of luck when she came into the care of Critter Cavalry Rescue. Of the two sisters, Bella is the more outgoing and confident. She currently weighs 47 pounds and is already showing what a well-balanced young shepherd she is. She walks nicely on a leash, is crate trained, and rides calmly in the car — all impressive qualities for a puppy her age. Bella gets along beautifully with other dogs, large and small, and is respectful around cats. She isn’t wild, pushy, or chaotic; instead, she’s thoughtful, steady, and eager to please. With positive reinforcement, structure, and continued confidence-building, she will blossom into a stunning adult shepherd, estimated to mature around 70–75 pounds.   After weeks of waiting with no owner stepping forward, Bella and Luna were officially released to CCR, and we are committed to finding them excellent, German Shepherd-savvy homes. A securely fenced yard is required, along with adopters who understand the breed and are excited to continue her training and development.Bella is sweet, adaptable, and ready to learn what it means to truly belong. She and her sister Luna are ready to be home for Christmas, and we would love nothing more than to make that wish come true. If you’re interested in adopting Bella, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com.       PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 14, 2025, 1:48 pm

Story
Her name is Rosie and she is the sweetest thing ever, she knows lots of tricks from lay down to barking on command (just make sure she gets her treat after!) she’s about 6 years old now and a very quiet dog, doesn’t bark at randomly for no reason and is really great with kids! She is black with some tan and a little bit of some white around her nose area. Her previous owner left her with me when he moved back to Georgia and it’s been a struggling month, she deserves the best home for her. She’s the best dog there is!

Story
Peanut is from south Louisiana. She’s from catapult She’s good with kids but she will bark and growl if she’s confused about who is outside. She is a crowd pleaser all of my friends can’t comprehend why I’m getting rid of her and all of them are unable to adopt her due to their own living arrangements. She has gotten me invited to family events by my friends parents from out of state before. Not because I’m a super love able guy but because she’s such a love able dog. If your single this peanut is perfect for you since you will meet many new people just by having her and walking her in parks. She loves people. Problems She doesn’t get along with our other dog, cat, or our rabbits She’s part border collie so she is a nipper. She doesn’t nip me ‘ I stopped that 5 years ago’ but my fiancé and our son she has been known to nip at them. It is a new neighborhood to us and I don’t want her nipping neighborhood children that come inside to hangout with our son. Cried 3days b4 this

Story
Meet Sara — Your New Best Friend in a Perfectly Trained, 45-Pound Package of Love At just 20 months old, Miss Sara is already proving to be the kind of once-in-a-lifetime dog everyone hopes for—smart, affectionate, eager to please, and now… beautifully trained. Originally adopted as a puppy, Sara was very loved—but when her owner sadly fell ill and could no longer care for her, everything changed. She returned to us with a heart full of love, but without the manners every young pup needs. We knew this girl had potential, so off she went to a professional 3-week training program… and wow, is she showing off. &#226&#156&#133 Training? She’s nailing it. &#226&#156&#133 People? She adores them. &#226&#156&#133 Dogs? Instant besties. &#226&#156&#133 Kids? She belly-crawls just to be close to them—it’s beyond precious. We believe she’s a Dutch Shepherd mix, weighing in at about 45 pounds, with a gorgeous, sleek coat and a heart that beats for human connection. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines—and yes, ready to go! Now, she’s just looking for a home that can match her devotion with love and guidance. Toys are her jam, and she’ll happily entertain herself or join you for a game of fetch. No kitties for this girl, please! Chasing them is just too much fun, and she needs a cat-free home to thrive. Sara is the kind of dog who makes you feel like the most important person in the world. Her loyalty is unmatched, her spirit is bright, and her readiness for her forever home couldn’t be clearer. Interested in giving this beautiful girl her happily-ever-after? Email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com today. Let Sara show you what love, intelligence, and a second chance can really look like. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.June 11, 2025, 9:36 pm
