Story
We got Ranger from Portsmouth Humane Society and he is approximately 7 years old! Extremely well behaved dog and great with kids! House trained. Okay to stay alone in the house, never gets into anything and has never had an accident. I hate to rehome, but he deserves someone who can devote more time to him. He is a fantastic, loyal, dog.

Story
Meet Oliver!    Oliver is a 6-month-old German Shepherd mix looking for his forever home. He is a beautiful golden color with the sweetest brown eyes!     Oliver was dropped off at a doggy daycare after closing without warning. We later found out he had been bouncing from home to home due to some unfortunate circumstances, so he’s ready for a place where he can finally feel safe and settled.   Oliver is fully vaccinated but has not been neutered yet.   He does great with people and is very playful with other dogs. Due to his past, Oliver does show some food aggression. We have been working on it, but his new owner should have experience with this behavior or be willing to continue training to help him succeed.   Some of Oliver’s favorite hobbies include playing fetch and going on long walks. He has a lot of energy and would do best in an active household. Oliver would also likely thrive with another older dog who can help show him the ropes and be a playmate.   Oliver gets a bit confused when he sees cats, so homes with cats should keep that in mind.    He’s ready to start the next chapter of his life with a family who will give him the time, patience, consistency, and love he deserves.    If you think Oliver could be the perfect addition to your family, **please reach out!   Adoption fee: $525, includes all shots, sterilized, heartworm negative, dewormed, flea preventative, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. The adoption policies and applications can be found at the following links: https://fancycats.org/adopt-a-cat and https://fancycats.org/adopt-a-dog. Email us at  adoption@fancycats.org for general questions about our rescued cats. Email us at dogadoptions@fancycats.org for general questions about our rescued dogs. See our calendar of adoption events at https://fancycats.org/(scroll towards bottom) You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters.
