Story
Imani (E-Mon-E) was left by a river 2 summers ago and is the first rescue we took in. She was already about 4 when we got her and takes a little time to warm up, she is getting more trusting of people but she has her shy qualities. Ince she knows you she loves you, will ask for belly rubs, is a wonderful ballerina, she likes running, a yard or active family would be good. She gets along well with boy dogs, is a little iffy around other females. She is very sweet, she is almost 6 but still has a lot of energy and years to go.

Story
Jasper was left on his own for a couple of months before he came to us. When we first got him he refused to leave our owners room. He is still very unsure on a leash. He loves his dog siblings but can be a bit rough with them, he is scared of new people and barks at first before giving you love. He needs someone experienced and patient.

Story
Meet Oscar, a ten month old German Shepherd/Greyhound mix weighing around 50 pounds.Oscar was brought in to us by someone, unfortunately we didn`t have room for him at the time but we gave them a bag of dog food to help with his care and placed them on our waitlist. However, someone informed us that they left him tied up to a trash can on the green way with the bag of food we had given him. We can`t imagine ever doing that, and Oscar is most definitely not trash. This boy is active, outgoing and smart as a whip. He picks up information quickly and although he is a teenager and still learning his manners he has a ton of potential. We see this guy doing really well with his new family. This pet is available for adoption on 5/2/2025 at 5:06 PM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. They know Momma is a Shepherd mix but dad is unknown, these puppies look to have almost every breed in them and are real mixes. Cookie is the most outgoing of her siblings and loves to snuggle. She enjoys her treats and is very friendly. Please remember that Cookie is a puppy and puppy behavior comes with the package. They need basic training and potty training along with being provided chew toys to encourage proper chewing habits.
