Story
Polaris is a young girl who was found dumped on the side of the road with a bag of dog food dumped on the ground as her only help for survival. A good samaritan picked her up and contacted me. Help Polaris never face that kind of treatment again by giving her a forever home. She is very sweet and friendly and great with other dogs and people and kids. She definitely has a prey drive though, which is not at all unusual for dogs, so no kitties or small animals. She walks well on the leash and does well in a crate. She is currently still in Oklahoma where she was rescued but she can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Note: No dogs are advertised as potty-trained because most dogs need at least some re-training in a new environment and after being in a shelter/rescue environment/strays. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue (copy and paste into a new browser window) Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Spokane, Tumwater, Tacoma, Tukwila, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Bellingham) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Idaho (Heyburn and Boise/Meridian) - Utah (Ogden) - Wyoming (Evanston, Rock Springs, Laramie) - Montana (Missoula) - Illinois (Vandalia, Springfield, Chicago) - Indiana (Spiceland, Burn Harbor) - Michigan (St Joseph, Battle Creek, Ann Arbor) - Wisconsin (Madison, Wausau, Eau Claire, Appleton, Milwaukee) - Minnesota (Minneapolis/St Paul) - Iowa (Des Moines) - Ohio (Columbus and London) - Pennsylvania (Erie, Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) - New Jersey (Bedminster) - Nevada (Las Vegas) - Arizona (Flagstaff) Vetting: spayed, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 3, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed several times, on monthly flea and tick prevention, on monthly heartworm protection, heartworm tested (negative) Adoption fee: $550 (includes the $250 cost of transport from Oklahoma and all vetting listed above) Adoption application (copy and paste into a new browser window): https://form.jotform.com/82677586784176 FAQs (copy and paste into a new browser window): https://docs.google.com/document/d/12eb_SRtk1AzaBl87UltcLJ24MjH9UhQm_LE77iWZEQA/edit?tab=t.0 Desiderata Rescue is Oklahoma Licensed Rescue #95

Story
Nanny-female-spayed-4 years old. Meet Nanny! She`s absolutely gorgeous and unique. We adore her. Our sweet Nanny is a little timid and lacks confidence but the more time you spend with her, the better she gets. Nanny loves to lean on her person, and she enjoys attention. She`s one of those dogs that instantly steals your heart, and you want to spend more time with her. Nanny is good with other dogs but can be nervous at first but once she`s comfortable, she loves to play. Nanny is currently around 50 pounds. Young children may be too much for Nanny so please take that into consideration if you`re interested. Apply to meet her at www.cchswi.org DATCP License #266742-DS

Sadie is a sweet girl who was born in July. She is said to be a German Shepherd/Aussie mix. Sadie has lived as a farm puppy and gets along well with cattle, sheep, horses, and farm kitties. Sadie will need help with potty and crate training, as she has never lived inside. She is a very smart puppy and very eager to learn! She enjoys playing fetch and going for walks. Sadie will do well in an active home with lots of energy outlets.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Meet Tessa Tessa is a 13-week-old German Shepherd mix and a spayed female. Tessa is truly the sweetest little girl you’ll ever meet. She has a wonderfully laid-back personality for a puppy, balanced perfectly with classic puppy moments—playful bursts, nap time, and a bit of puppy mouthiness as she learns about the world. Overall, she is an incredibly good, well-mannered pup who is already showing what a great companion she will become. Highly intelligent and eager to learn, Tessa is ready for a home that understands and appreciates working breeds. She is looking for a family committed to helping her grow into the smartest, happiest version of herself through training, enrichment, and love. Tessa is: -Spayed -Microchipped -Up to date on vaccinations She is currently being fostered in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, and is ready to find her forever home. My adoption fee is $350, and you can learn more about the rescue at https://lastpawrescue.org (Our website can take a few days to update, so please apply even if I am not listed yet.)
