Story
Hi!My name is Tom and I`m looking for my forever home. Even though I am considered a senior, I have a lot of energy. My foster mom tells me that I have nervous energy, but we`re working on it. She tells me that I`m getting better every week with barking less at the animals/objects/sounds that are scary. I am a smart dog that enjoys playing ball. I would rather play fetch than play with other dogs. I get along with all the other dogs in my foster home and enjoy the occasional wrestling match. I do not like to be alone. I have a high prey drive and enjoy chasing squirrels with the other dogs. I don`t think I should be trusted around cats either. When I`m not chasing something, I have my nose to the ground following their scent. For these reasons, I need to have a fenced in yard. When I am inside, I like to chew on bones and play tug with stuffed animals. I am not destructive in the house. My favorite treat is a peanut butter filled Kong. If you are looking for a new friend, come check me out!Love and sloppy kisses,Tom

Story
Willow (fka Darla) is a very sweet 4-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer that currently weighs 60 pounds. She originally came to us as a stray in 2023 that had been running for months before a team of our volunteers and employees caught her using a live trap. She was adopted but recently came back to us due to her and her furry sister suddenly not getting along and fighting so we do feel that she would be best as an only dog in the home. She does get nervous around fast movements and loud noises, so older, calmer children would be ideal for her. The best thing about Willow is seeing her be comfortable enough with people to get the zoomies. This beautiful girl is looking for someone to be patient, love her and make her a member of the family. If you are interested in meeting/adopting Willow, please fill out an adoption application on our website.

Story
Mickey needs more room to play and a best buddy hooman! He was born on an Arizona Native Am Reservation and roamed free. We adopted him at 5 mo. and he was a ball of polar bear love. Mickey is now turning 7 and 65 lbs of lean athleticism. He has less fluffy coat than most great pyr dogs and has never worked as a guard on a ranch, but he has always had a big yard to run and play. Now we've been forced to move to a small house and yard due to the dire illness of his owner. Mickey has female dog-mates at home but doesn't get along with male dogs when around his female sisters. Meeting new people of all ages is one of his favorite things. He loves to play ball, collect stuffy toys, and play with friends. His new owner should know this strong opinionated breed. He barks at dogs going by, but not continuing. "Heel" still needs work, but he has leash training. Sit, stay, come, down, leave-it, gentle, drop-it, all work! Mickey is looking for a fun, experienced pup parent to shower with love!
